Going Potty!!

by: pcjjap

I'm not blogging much of late because I simply don't have the free time, but now it's summer hols you might hear from me more :)

We've potted out the plants and all is looking good - although how much fruit they will bear remains to be seen - a little late in the planting really. Here's a sneek preview,

but you can see the full 'garden' HERE.

The boys just about finished up Ireland (lapbook yet to be assembled, but it's not going to be a big one) & the 'Bible' section of Egypt (pics yet to be posted). in time for the summer break and now they are enjoying the yard - bikes and skateboards rule OK!! Whiel we were 'doing' Ireland they learnt to count to 10 in Irish and that was good fun! How come they can learn & retain that kind of stuff - things they'll never really need to know, but the important stuff is all too easily forgotten?!

They also both went up in their swimming lessons, so now Jake is level 9 & Joel is level 5 - starting tonight. I'm very pleased with them both

Abbie has got really bossy and shrieky of late which I find hard to tolerate, but we'll get through it.

Phoebe has got all clingy and teary - no idea why - equally hard to deal with!

Ellie is adorable - funny, mischievious and rising 2 in general. I absolutly love this age! Paul asked me this morning if we could bottle her and keep just like this!!

Caleb is doing well. Sleeps for one six hour stint at night, so if I put him down at midnight I get 12-6 which feels like a full night's sleep. But he's not too good at keeping going til midnight so we usually get 10-3.30 (ish), but then he finds it hard to settle again and a couple of nights he has 'played' until about 5am - not good!! Mostly he's a good baby though, but he does seem to feed a lot in the daytime - still about every 2-3 hours - and doesn't sleep a great deal for one so wee! He is very alert and interested in life, so maybe, like my others, he just is bored with being a baby!!

I used to want to bottle Moo at 2, she was just so precious at that age.

Funny, I was just thinknig this morning I may email you to see how things were ticking alone and discover you\'ve posted, lol. Glad things are ticking along.

Em reacted to Sebs birth the same teary way although it wasnt him directly as much as him being seen as the cause of our disrupted routine iyswim?!?!

    Nice to read you again.
