Governor State of West Virginia

Governor State of West Virginia

Friday night in Shirley West Virginia a pickup truck traveling at an excusive speed crashed thru my field fence, then struck a tree and bounced back into the State road. I witnessed the accident and watched as the driver and passenger climbed from the truck. The driver was a local 16 yr. old who is related to the so called County family that has been involved in committing crimes against me and my wife. I went to the phone and called the West Virginia State Police to report the accident. I returned to my porch and watched as his father and cousin came to retrieve the truck and gather up the evidence. As the local fire department came up the road they quickly took off dragging the truck up Sandy's Run, with the fire truck chasing. They dragged the truck behind the house and informed the fire department that they couldn't come on to the property. The fire Chief who is one of the families then called the Tyler County dispatch and canceled the call to the West...

MY HORSE

You probably do not remember my horse as I do. You did not know that as he stood eating from the grain bucket less than 100 ft. from the neighbor's front porch he was shot. You did not know that he was shot 10 to 15 times thru the stomach and intestines. That he raced away in terror to the upper meadow, where he collapsed and died. He did not understand why his life was taken. You probably did not know the Tyler County Deputy did not pursuer this, or the statement that if I did not forget this then it would become a misdemeanor crime and not the Felony it was. You probably were not present when a Tyler County Deputy said he was not going to arrest his family members for committing a crime against me. Then you were not there when the Tyler County Prosecutor stated that no one would be arrested for committing crimes against me or my property. Or the day the Tyler County Sheriff said I wasn't welcome at the Sheriffs office. These facts have been held true to...

A Different Christmas Poem

The embers glowed softly, and in their dim light,
I gazed round the room and I cherished the sight.
My wife was asleep, her head on my chest,
My daughter beside me, angelic in rest.
Outside the snow fell, a blanket of white,
Transforming the yard to a winter delight.
The sparkling lights in the tree I believe,
Completed the magic that was Christmas Eve.
My eyelids were heavy, my breathing was deep,
Secure and surrounded by love I would sleep.
In perfect contentment, or so it would seem,
So I slumbered, perhaps I started to dream.

The sound wasn't loud, and it wasn't too near,
But I opened my eyes when it tickled my ear.
Perhaps just a cough, I didn't quite know, Then the
sure sound of footsteps outside in the snow.
My soul gave a tremble, I struggled to hear,
And I crept to the door just to see who was near.
Standing out in the cold and the dark of the night,
A lone figure stood, his face weary and tight. ...

HOG PEN SHOOTOUT

I grew up in the mountains of Washington State and learned the values of my grandfather. Life took strong people and hard work to survive. Certain values were held as the way of life and these were taught to me. Later in life, I moved to the big city and people objected to my values. They were insistent that the law should handle any problems and I was wrong to defend myself.

These ideas never seemed to work and I saw crime climb till it took over neighborhoods. When faced with this and the failure of police, I began to work on the problem without using violance. I found that embarrassing the drug dealers by making them publicly visible sent them packing to other areas. Most criminals or want to be's have trouble dealing with psychological problems so I applied this too, and soon my neighborhood didn't have as many problems as did other neighborhoods.

When I moved to West Virginia to farm and get back to my beginnings, I brought...

THE END

The night sky was clear, and bright with the light of a full moon, as he and his comrades crept across the field. This time he thought, this time they would put their query to the ground. This task had been a long and strenuous task for the last three years. Always something stopped them from achieving their goal, but to night would put this to rest. He glanced around to confirm the presence of his comrades, and check their positions. They need to do this right for they would not have a second chance this night. Mentally he went over the plan, and the tools that they would use to put this query down. Every one of his comrades carried their favorite weapon, and plenty of ammunition, all were dressed in their black clothing, with black ski masks. Had they been throughal enough, had they thought of everything, was there no chance for the query to escape tonight? He checked again on his comrades, some had not been as enthusiastic for this, but he had pushed and bullied them...

WANTING to LIVE

I ran for my life brushing past the tree trunks, dodging from shadow to slice of moon light, and back to shadows. I gulped air into my lungs straining to achieve more speed from my legs. The blood pumped past my temples, and the force told me of my heart beat. This was a race I hadn’t wanted, a race for my life. Behind I knew they were coming, their nostrils filling with my scent. I knew they would run me to the ground if I slowed. Faster my mind shouted, faster if you want to live. I ran into a clearing bathed in the moon light, lighting every thing like daylight. As the ground flew under my feet I saw the stream just ahead. The water might help; my Grandfather had once lost them by splashing down a stream. He had said the splashing water had covered his scent. I ran for the stream turning down stream. A few quick strides and I was splashing in the cold water. The water slowed my speed, but if it worked I would be safe. Then I could find a place to rest. I drove my...

He hurried up the rise knowing that having left the road would shorten the distance of travel. It was his at last he thought and no one could take it away. No one knew how he had cheated and swindled to get this and now it was his, only his. The birds making noise were irritating to him; need to get someone to shoot those birds he thought. Second thought he would take pleasure from killing them. On he trudged moving with more force to get up the rise. The trees would bring him money he thought, to bad he would have to pay for the logging. Perhaps he could jake someone into doing it for free. Then he could just sit and count the money. He thought of the house and how it would become his new base of operation. People would have to make the trip to ask for his favors, and he would be able to enjoy their discomfort as they came to the house. Being able to observe them long before they arrived. Then saying no just so he could watch as they traveled the road going away. He...

WAITING GAME

My life has been filled with waiting and no one has payed for the hours of my life they have wasted by making me wait. The government offices, doctors, courts, stores lines, gas lines, ticket lines, all make me wait till they are ready, and never do they think of the minutes of my life which are passing by. If I were to charge for this lost time in my life, I could retire very comfortably.

PLUGGING THE DIKE

The little dutch boy pluged the dike with his thumb, they built the Hover dam to plug the colorado. So if you want to stop the illegals, build the Rio Grandi canal. Its simple enough to hand out shovels, picks, and wheel barrows, to the illegals as you catch them. Then put them to work digging from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific ocean. At 1000 feet across, 200 feet deep no illegals will be coming across. At the end of two years service give them citizenship for their service. What we spend on pork projects would cover the cost's, and in the end we would have a canal to bring in money, and save time of travel for the shipping of goods. This would give us a good border, money in the bank and a way to end this problem of illegals.

EDUCATION

postamble(); I do not understand why educators think they are paid to express their veiws. My understanding is that they are paid to teach their students the studies that they were hired to teach, nothing more and certainly not their veiws of the world. It does not make any sence that I would want my tax dollars going to some teacher who brings their veiws into the classroom. This is a position of great responsiblity, and trust that educators ask for. We do not thrust it upon them. So when I hear or see some so called educator expressing their veiws instead of the ABC's I feel betrayed in placing my trust in that so called educator. These educators need to be taught that we will not tolorate this behavor in our schools. That is right our schools not their's, our money not their's. If they can't accept that then they should not be trusted around our children. If a school accepts federal money then they come under our control and should be held to our standards not...

PROTECTING THE RIGHTS

Well once again some people have filed a law suit against a Christian thing. This time it is the cross placed where Utah state troopers fell, in the line of duty. I understand that these people feel the cross infringes on their veiw, and the goverment should protect these people. So the question is how to protect these people who are offended. Remove all of the objects that offend, at great expence then not allow such object's in the United States. Or remove the offended? This can be done with little expense to the tax payer. First remove the offended to a patch of NM, AZ, or NV sand. Then inform the offended that the United States, will not allow tv, radio, newspapers, magazines, or other material to be in their possesion. They are not allowed to have money, or a drivers license since these can be offensive. This space of sand is the only place they can be, so the United States can protect them, and their right not to be offended. Since they...

CHRISTMAS GOT LOST

I left the farm today, to do some Christmas shopping and to see the big city again. Since I left the big city five years ago, I seldom go back. But it's Christmas and some people will not be happy with a jug of home made syrup, or a jar of jam, so off to the city I went. The drive was nice, it takes about an hour, so lots to see. I was really antisipating the stores, people, and the Christmas lights. Yes the Christmas lights, these I first found when I was about eleven years old. When I was younger my grandmother always used ribbons, bows, and cones to decorate. The first stop was Salem WV, and as we drove into town you could see that they were doing their best to have Christmas lights. Salem is just a spit spot beside the freeway but they do have a Christmas there. To the bank we went, you always need money in the big city. As I sat in the truck waiting Santa Clause suddenly appeared and walked up to the truck. He smiled and handed me two small suckers, saying...

People ask me what I think about things, and I express my thoughts. This time the question is Christmas restrictions. I do not understand why some people insist that the have some right to force their will upon everyone else. But today you find these people trying to use the courts to do their will, and as I know the rule of law can be used for just this purpose, and very effectivly. When you look at the picture of this drive you can plainly see that this is just a ploy by some groups to seize control of your life, by circumventing your right's for their rule. This type of control has been around for many years, and has been used successfuly many times in the past by Dictators, Goverments, and coporations to enforce their rule over the whole. A good example being used right now is the seizure of private property for finacial gains. This is an example, that is the same as you can not celebrate Christmas. This ploy will be used more in the courts as time...

Now the prosecutor will have to turn over his information for me to examine, and then we can start the court procceses for examination and delays. Can't have a trial without full examination of all the evidence, and statements.

PROGRESS

I can accept that with approaching senility some of my skills and knowledge must atrophy, but it really gravels my craw that the many skills and much knowledge that I continue to possess in abundance have become obsolete.
I think I know now how those making buggy whips must have felt as they contemplated the coming of the automoble. They retained the skills and the knowledge; they just didn't have the buggies.
Certainly it makes sense to get rid of old stuff that isn't needed anymore, but it also makes sense to not fix what ain't broken, especially when the changes leave old country boys like me confused and disoriented.
I feel somehow betrayed, as if the world had changed some time ago while I was nodding off. This is in regards to the conversation we had on August 12, 2005, on the Sheriffs office porch in which you made the statement that all I ever do is complain, and that I am never satisfied. So let’s see what satisfaction the Tyler County Sheriffs office has given me!

Present at the time was one of your deputies who stood by as I was offered marijuana, then cocaine, in the course of the unsolicited offer of drugs it was explained to me that the dealer was protected by the sheriff’s office and if I dealt with the right persons I could get what ever I wanted. The fact is, not only should they represent their states, but they should remember that all of the population is important not just their state. Lately they just seem more interested in vacations, travel, and parties, they seem to have forgotten the rest of us. Now to see themselves on TV they are demanding to know who the President is going to want on the Supreme Court. Well instead of getting on TV they should listen to what is being said by the President, he has not choosen or decided on anyone.
Well I've had some contact over the years with police officers and have found they all try to perform to a standard that they are taught. So when one of the officers goes to the effort of retribution it becames clear what his intentions are, this action is a black mark on all police officers. Who do you call for help when you can no longer rely on the police, do you now sit in fear of the criminals, and the police. This question has no answer when you can no longer trust the police to provide service with out becoming agressive in action because you might say or look like you did something. As for help, the only ones you can turn to is the police, and trust that they will conduct themselves in a manner that can restore your trust. It only takes one police officers to brake the barrier of trust, and begin the road to complete distrust of the officers. For me, I will from now on never talk to a police officer again without video taping the incident and having witnesses...
