Well, things with the new co are going great! Calls are much more varied and it's certainly busier! I'm on target to make well over what I usually make!

I just wish I'd done this months ago!

Well, I started with the new company today, and I'm soooooo happy! My supervisor called me this afternoon for my training and about an hour later I was working!

What was really funny is that she asked me to log into the system, to do a test call, but before she had chance to ring through, a client called me! lol Didn't do too badly either - 8 mins! My supervisor was impressed with that one!

One caller who made me laugh this afternoon was an elderly guy who said "I've got a 9 inch throbbing penis".

All in all, an excellent afternoon. I made much more in 2 hours than I have in one afternoon with the old company! Definitely made the right choice there. Can't wait to log on later tonight - should have some good blog fodder too!

Well, tonight was a pretty good shift. A lot better and the hold time is still a good average. (Low hold time indeed!)

I had a call from a guy who admitted to having a boot fetish. "I split up with my ex-girlfriend, who looked just like you, "he explained. Well, I logged on last night and waited for the phone to ring - for 3 hours. NO calls! Friday night, and no calls for 3 hours!

In the end, I called the boss to be told "well, your hold time is low, so we've put you in a lower priority group." But 3 hours and no calls???? Come on!

"I don't think so, " I replied. "I'm averaging out at 8 mins. I know this because I've worked it out." A stuttered reply followed with a sheepish, "Give me 10 mins and I'll sort it out." About 15 mins later, the calls came through - not a single short call! So, my hold times are low are they????

I tell you, my last shift is saturday and I cannot wait! I will not be upset to kiss it goodbye!

Well, boss lady from the new company phoned me today. I started next monday! So excited. I have sent in written notice to current company. Next monday cannot come too soon, because things are getting pretty desperate!

Lady sounds very nice and approachable. Lets hope that are much busier!

Another quiet week. I don't know what is happening, but it seems to be getting quieter week by week! I don't know if it's the time of year or what, but things are getting serious.

I've been chasing up my application to the company I've applied for. They haven't received it yet (please don't tell me Royal Mail have done their usual - I posted it on Saturday!) I'm so eager to get up and running, so that I can get some calls instead of sitting there waiting for the phone not to ring!

Not even had any calls that were "out of the ordinary". A couple of kids yesterday afternoon though - they seem to be out in force!

One kid told me he was 20 - more like months! He was blatently underage. "Well I tell you what I'll do," I said. "I'll give your parents a call, tell them that you are calling Adult chatlines and that you should be 18 or over and see if they can tell me if you are really 20!" The answer? <click - burrrrrr>

I think that will be my new strategy with kids calling, especially those who are quite obviously underage. They know the rules, they shouldn't be calling, so they can't expect anything less than a good bollocking from me!

I had my hair cut yesterday. Was absolutely desperate to get it cut. It hadn't been done since well before christmas so was in serious need. Was too long, was tangling around the brush, split ends - urgh!

Anyway, it feels much better now. A nice length, layers sorted out, easier to blow dry. All I have to do now is sort out my colours.

I was blow drying my hair yesterday and noticed another grey hair! 26 with grey hair!!! That's why I need to colour it pretty quick!

The problem is though, when you've been in the hairdressers, and it's nice and warm, and you've had your head under the hairdryer, you come outside into the freezing cold and you just can't stop shivering! I couldn't wait to get home and then to wash my hair and blow dry it the way I like it!

Oh well another mammoth shift tonight. Lets hope my oddballs come back - I miss them!
