Hello Again!!

It's been a good week, except I have a cold.  I'll get over it sooner or later.  I have had the baby alot since Megan is back to work.  She is such a good baby.  Hardly ever cries.  She has started smiling and laughing.  There is no sweeter sound than a baby laughing.  LOL. 

Well, I have my referral for my surgery from my doctor.  Now I just have to have what they call a bod pod test.  Body Mass Indicator test.  Then I have to take some classes.  I'm not entirely sure what all the classes entail, but I know part of it is explanation of the surgery, recovery, and how your life will change afterwards.  Get this....I have to have a psyc. evaluation befoe surgery as well.  Dr. said they want to make sure your not crazy.  We were laughing about it and I told him I hoped they wouldn't ask my husband, cause he would probably say that I was.  Doc thought that was pretty funny.  But, he said that Carls opinion doesn't count.  Thank goodness.  Anyway I have to go through all this before I can have surgery.  I'll do whatever it takes.

Well that's really on that's going on.  Oh I am going to see Motley Crue at the end of the month.  I cannot wait.  Well I guess I'll go for now.

Hello all.  Haven't written for a few days.  I've been kind of busy.  I have been babysitting Cadence all week.  That has been fun.  She is such a good baby.  My kids are on spring break.  Man, they fight like cats and dogs.  I'm going to kill them.  LOL  Anyway we were going to go to the park yesterday and it decided to storm so we didnt go.  Then today it was too windy to have the baby outside.  The kids are kind of mad at me cause we didnt get to go.  Oh well, such is life.  I got my information from the obesity surgeons.  It sounds pretty simple.  The surgery I guess takes about 90 minutes or so.  I got to watch a video online of an actual surgery.  It was kind of gross but cool.  Very interesting.  I told my sister in law I am going to ask them to tape mine so I can see it.  I mean how many people can say they have actually seen their insides.  LOL Yeah I know I'm gross.  Anyway I go to my regular Dr on Tues. to talk to him more and get a referral.  Wish me luck.  Anyway I guess I'll go for now.  Not much else to say right now.  God Bless.

Happy Easter Everyone!!!

Busy busy weekend.  Moved cousins all day yesterday and then had early easter dinner at my moms.  MMMMMM she is a good cook.  Today was awesome.  Went to church this morning.  First time Ive sang in the choir in front of the congregation.  What a rush!!!  Then afterwards we went to South Pekin.  Our church just took over one of the churches there.  It was our first service there.  We had lots of food from the congregation.  All of us chipped in and brought the food.  They had a service and then all the little kids got to have an easter egg hunt outside.  The weather was beautiful.  We it actually ended up being and easter pick up because we had so many plastic eggs w/ candy that you couldnt step where there wasnt one.  We ended up with 3000, yes 3000 plastic eggs and about 20 or 30 kids.  You talk about fun.  Those kids were in seventh heaven.  I guess when they asked for donations of candy stuffed eggs they didnt realize how many people would come through.  Oh well the kids loved it.  Then after we got done there we went and finished cousins moving.  Whew!!! We are finally done.  Thank the Lord.  Anyway Im tired and am going to go to bed.  So, God bless you all.

Hello all!!  Here I am again.  I woke up in a blah mood this morning.  It is cloudy and cold here.  But, then my granddaughter arrived and I have her all day.  Plus I prayed for God to put me in a better mood.  So, I feel better know.  I found an 80's hits station on yahoo messenger.  That helps my mood to.  I love 80's stuff. 

Saturday we are having dinner at my mom's.  Mom's cooking is the bomb.  Cant wait.  Grandpa will be there.  Of course we are helping Carls aunt move in the morning.  Thats ok......we will work up an appetite.  LOL

Sunday I am going to be in the choir performing for the first time.  We have two services to perform at.  I am going to get the kids an easter basket, but we are going to talk more about what Easter really means.  I dont think it hurts to have a basket, but I think I will try and make my own and bring a Christ theme into them.  Just havent figured out exactly how, yet.  Ill get it figured out tonight.  I think Ill call Kim for some ideas.  Anyway I will be pretty busy this weekend, so I probably wont write again until Monday.  We will see.

Well this is my first entry.  Im hoping to keep this up to date, so I can look back and see what I was doing "back then".  Well I am a gramma now and loving it.  Cadence Kalie is growing like a weed.  I love spoiling her. 

I am currently in the process of trying to get accepted for lap band or gastric bypass surgery.  I am now 256 lbs and miserable.  I keep losing and gaining all the time.  So, I am waiting for my info packet from the doctor.  Keep your fingers crossed.  I recently joined the Pekin First Assembly of God church.  I love that place.  Everyone is wonderful. 

I just found out today that Josh Broomfield is no longer charged with battery on Kayla or Carl.  He got off again.  Im trying to pursue the charges only so he will learn his lesson.  I am trying to find it in my heart to be like Jesus and forgive him, but then I look at my innocent little daughter and I just cant forgive him yet.  Maybe someday.

Spring is here and I cant wait until it warms up some more.  I am waiting to get outside.  I am looking forward to fishing and camping.  Poor Carl works so much thought, Im not sure how much leisure time we will get in this year.  

Well that is really all I have to say right now.  This is pretty cool.  I think Ill like it.  Wish me luck on my surgery.
