Weblog of Sarah

I was born into this world a 10/15 oz baby girl in the year of our Lord 1951. I am the first born of my bothers and sisters. I have four sister and a set of Identical twin brothers. We are all in our fifties now except for my three younger sisters two are in their forties and one sister who is in her late thitries. We are not a close family because we were raised by different relatives from both sides of the family, except for my twin brothers and my youngest sister who was with our Mother most of the time. Our Mother passed away in March of 2005 from a long illness of everything and we all miss her especially our brothers. But, we are trying to keep in touch with each other by phone, letters and email as often as we could because life is so short. Our father who separated from our mother for years died when we all were teenagers. We do not remember much about our Dad, but that was our dad we love him.

Wow, here I am

My goodness it has been a long time, since I have visited this site of my blog.

I am now 57 years old and still living at the same address as before. I am more mobile and get around much more than I use to before, but still I am humble and still praising the LORD, everyday thanking him for his blessings.

My one and only son will be 31 years old on the 3rd of October and doing well. No grand children yet. But, that is ok. The world today is so violent and unpredictable that I can't see bringing a child into this world nowadays.

My long awaited vacation

I just had the most wonderful vacation I have ever had in years. Of cousre last year I went away for the first time since Marchl of 2005 and it was for a sad reason my Mom past away and I had to attend her funeral.

But this time it was a vacation. I got a ride with some cousins and I stayed with them for a few days and then my sister came by to pick me up from there and I went to stay with her for another few days and then she took me to stay with another sister for a few days, then my sister took me back with my other sister where I stay with her for another day or so, then she took me to the train station which I got the train back home. I had a very good time with my family.

It is a blessing that my family and I get together now that both of our parents are dead. It felt good to get to know my siblings all over again.

I took lots of pictures of everything to keep in my photo albums and of course I will be printing some to send back to everyone...
