Six isn't a color!
Mood: Happy!
Listening to: Otis meow for Milo. They do that when they're playing! It's so cute

Hi guys! Yesterday was a lot of fun for me. I didnt realize how much I've missed my grandparents! Sheesh! Sometimes I even miss living with them. They are so much company and they are just amazing. I can't imagine my life without them. So ok, yesterday was a blast. I got to my grandparents house a little after 8:30am. I had just gotten some frustrating news from my school and wasn't in the greatest of moods. I got there and tried to put on a happy face, but I just can't fake emotions. So, I called Steve and just vented for a good 5 minutes. He just listened. Then, I told him I had to go. Hung up. Went into the living room. I sat down and just sat there with my pawpaw while mawmaw was in the kitchen doin whatever it is she was doing. All of a sudden a calm just swept over me and the feeling of 'it's going to be just fine' rushed through my head. I instantly calmed down. My grandparents have that effect on me. So, fifteen minutes later, Im back on the phone with Steve telling him that Im not as insane anymore and things are fine and Im ok. He said, 'good, baby, you sound much better. enjoy your day.' Simple things like that make me love him so much. Just the way he's always there for me, through thick and thin. Even when we were split up and even after we were divorced, he was still there for me. We remained friends for the time we were divorced [which we still are, but ya'll know what i mean].

So, anyway, I had a blast yesterday doing the simplest thing. Caitlin was at my grandparents house all day and I stayed there with her. Around 1 or so we [my grandmother, caitlin, and myself] started playing Uno. We didn't stop until 7:30pm! It was insane. That's the first time that Caitlin has ever really just kinda let loose and laughed and acted like a teenager, yanno? It was good to see that side of her, especially since everything has happened. It got to the point where we were getting confused about reverses, skips, and everything else. Caitlin put down a card thats like a draw four and you have to pick the color, she had one card in her hand and she said, 'Six.' Mawmaw and I just looked at her and I said, 'Six isnt a color.' We all started crackin up. Caitlin laughed *so* hard. It was refreshing. Im gald to see her like that. She's going to a church camp this upcoming week. It's going to be great for her. She's going to socialize with kids her age. That's what she needs. That's what all kids need, in my opinion.

Today I dont have a single thing planned. I was gonna go back down to my grandparnets, but I seriously need to get the laundry caught up and hung up, the house cleaned, and dig out bags to pack in. One week from tomorrow we'll be leaving for the beach. OH HOW I CANT WAIT! Man. Momma is excited, Steve is, I am, and I think Cory is excited enough for all of us. Today I plan on just being lazy. Mahah! Im taking advantage of this while I can. Im trying my best to get a job as a student ambassador. I really hope I get it. It's just part time, but it's on campus and doing the things I love to do. This time, instead of volunteering, I'll get paid! Gotta love that! Im just really praying that when I graduate I'll be able to find a job. Thats the thing that scares me the most. Trying to pick a degree that is marketable. Im sure I'll find something. I have an awesome personality, great communication skills, and a great work ethic. I aint skeered.

Well, I guess I'll stop rambling now. I hope you guys have a good weekend. I'll be on yahoo messenger most of the day, so hit me up if you wanna!

HAPPY CANADA DAY TO ALL OF MY CANADIAN FRIENDS!!!

:)It has been crazy here! I got most of the house up in pictures on my blogs...except for the kitchen & the dining room. You\'ll get pics of them when they\'re done & not a second before. Mahahahaha! Just gettin\' ready to go for a nappypooh as I am beat. Been runnin\' around cookin\' lunch, cleanin\' windows & makin\' beds. The windows alone took most of the morning. Sheesh!!! Mahahaha! Always pruned my first lilac bush...Hope I didn\'t kill it! :( That would really suck..as they are my favorite flower. :) Loves ya & am so glad you had a blast yesterday. Was thinkin\' of ya tons all day. I\'ll try to get online sometime this evening to say hi.
