Hey ya'll! Today is Humpday so that means it's time for the Hillbilly Humpday Challenge! This challenge is going to be all about you and your life! Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to write about events in your life that are significant to you that begin with each letter. These can also be characteristics about yourself that you like. Good luck!
A - Always trying to eliminate drama.
B - Began college right after a divorce.
C - Caring about loved ones more than caring about myself.
D - Diligently working to maintain a high GPA.
E - Established a better relationship with Steve.
F - Fight for what I believe in.
G - Graduating College.
H - Happy, finally, with my life.
I - I'm intelligent and I know this.
J - Jump to conclusions rather quickly and irrationally.
K - Kind Hearted
L - Learned how to live independently instead of dependently.
M - Made a choice to remove the negative people from my life.
N - Never regretted things that made me happy at any point in my life.
O - Openly talk honestly, finally, to Steve and put trust in him.
P - Preparing for my future, no matter if I'm alone or not.
Q - Quit putting so much emphasis on how others see me.
R - Respecting myself, again. I head to relearn this.
S - Saying "no" to people I love. This is really hard for me and Im trying.
T - Taking life one day at a time. This is a major accomplishment for me.
U - Utilizing what I have instead of focusing on what I don't have.
V - Validating myself.
W - Working extra hard in school.
X - Xtra Baggage: I've learned to let go of. (i know I sound like Yoda. I couldnt think of anything that started with "X". I hate X).
Y - "You never judge a book by its cover." <-- I've really had to learn that in the past two years, especially in classroom settings.
Z - Zooming through life isn't what life is about. Life is about taking the time to stop and recognize people, recognize your surroundings, and make sure everyone you care about knows, for certain, that you care about them. This is the most important thing I've learned in my life. Appreciate the little things. The little things make up the big things.
Welp, there ya have it! The Hillbilly Humpday Challenge. I think this challenge will really let people know you. I liked this one. It was rather easy for me! Mahah! I hope ya'll are havin a good Humpday. Im fixin to go to school and write a couple more papers. Looks like we're havin some thunderstorms, so it should make for a headache-ish day. I need to get ahold of Amanda. She hasnt called me yet and normally she does. Wonder if she's goin to class tonight. She has a speech due and she was really nervous. Love her heart. Im tryin to help her all I can, but I can't deliver it for her. If I could, I would. I've gotta get goin guys. I'll update later tonight or tomorrow.
