What You've All Been Waiting For!

Mood: Happy
Listening to: Nothing at all

Alright guys. Here's what you've all been waiting for. I finally uploaded the pictures, resized them, put them on photobucket and now I'll put them here. Not all of them, as there are over 40 pictures, but you'll have the link to go and look at the rest. Ok? ok. Here we go.

This is the view from our floor of the hotel. That road is the road we drove in on. We came from the bottom of the picture though. That's going further south. We were on the 14th floor [out of 15 floors].

That is the parking garage [on the right] and the hotel check in place [on the left with the turquoise sign]. You drive on that brick road, stop infront of the door, and check in. There was a parking garage in our hotel. You can see part of our hotel on the left. It was shaped like an L. That is the road we came in on and if you go right you're going further south.

This is looking through the sliding glass door in our room. I woke up and saw this each morning. This was on the first day we got there, which was the most beautiful day while we were there.

Standing on our balcony [as you can see the rail in the bottom right hand corner cause im such a great photographer] you can see the sundeck of the hotel as well as the beach and ocean.

This is looking to the left while standing on our balcony. Beautiful, no?

This is looking to the right while standing on our balcony.

This is looking straight out from our balcony.

So as you can see the first day was absolutely gorgeous. We got there around 11am and were able to go ahead and check into our room. So, what is the first thing that Steve done when he got there [after bringing up all of our luggage of course]?

He went directly to that beautiful view! Isn't he so cute?!

Because it was so hot that day, we decided we would go swim in the ocean. WOW! Ok, the ocean was FREEZING cold. It was so much fun. Lucky for ya'll, I did get me a water proof camera so here are some pictures from us swimming in the ocean.

Our hotel. We were the 2nd floor down from the top and the 2nd room over from the right.

I know that wave looks tiny, but it nearly killed me.

This is after i nearly drowned and i came up for air. I had salt water in my eyes, my mouth, my nose, everywhere! That wave was evil.

Steve thought it was hilarious. :(

Myrtle Beach - Part 2

Mood: Happy
Listening to: Train going by

Because the ocean was so freezing cold, we decided to go swimming. My legs were NUMB. Steve does not know how to take a picture at all. I wanted this to be a good picture. Look at him. *sigh*

So we were outside in this huge hot tub thingy with all these people and then it was dinner time. So, we got out and we went to eat. We were both exhausted. When we came back from dinner it was about 7:30ish and the hottub inside stayed open until 9pm so we decided to go to the inside pool / inside hot tub area cause the wind was blowing and it was freezing when you're in a bathing suit!

Steve gets in the hot tub just fine. He did NOT want this picture taken as you can see. Mahahahhaha!

Because Im clumsy, I nearly drowned getting into the hot tub. It is 3 feet of water and look at me! I was bone dry when i got in. I slipped off of the step, flew backwards, went under, got my bearings, came up, and was getting the hair out of my face. See the fear on my face?! Mahahah!

So we stayed in there for a bit but we were exhausted so we went back up to the room [here's some pictures of it, as I didnt show them before]:

That was day 1. We woke up the next morning and went and ate breakfast at the buffet thingy the hotel had. We then noticed how we weren't going to get to swim in the ocean again because the weather wasn't so great...

So we decided we'd go downtown to the Pavillion and do some shopping.

This is the Pavillion. It's really just a road that is parallel to the ocean that has shops and all kindsa entertainment stuffs to do.

It's even got an amusement park with rollercoasters.

I thought this was too cute. Mahahah!

More of the Pavillion

We got hungry so we went to this place:

It's in the right hand corner, not subway. It's called Boardwalk Bills Bar and Grill. It was delicious. We sat in the window and had this view:

Part 3 of Myrtle Beach [Last Part]

Mood: happy
Listening to: otis playing with a piece of paper

So we just spent the rest of the day shopping. We also went into Ripley's Believe it or not! Museum as well as a 4D motion theater:

That is me standing beside the world's tallest man in Ripley's Believe It or Not! Mahahahah!

This is us in the 4D theater. We had to wear those funky glasses. Water shot in our faces and everything during that movie! it was hilarious! I look like Im getting ready to bite someone in this picture. Mahahah!

After all of the shopping we went to a restaurant called "Cheeseburger In Paradise" and it was delicious! I'll have to get their link and post it. Im mainly doing this entry to show y'all some pictures. I'll be doing a "real" entry soon with more words and stuff. lol! After dinner we came back and got in the hot tub. It felt great. Want proof?

Evidence.

Because we got up so early and stuff, we went to bed around 10 or 11pm. We got up the next day and I only had a black and whtie camera left so the rest of these are going to be in black and white. Sorry. We went to a place called Broadway at the Beach. It had a Hard Rock Cafe and TONS of shops.

Before we left for Broadway on the Beach. I love this picture of Steve.

The ocean before we left. It was kinda dark out and it was only in the upper 60's. So it was too cold to swim in the ocean. :(

Me standing on the boardwalk at broadway on the beach. They had a huge lake built there and they built the shops all around this lake. The lake also had ducks and fish that you could feed. there were tons of restaurants and everything.

Looking across the lake. That big circle like place in the middle is a seafood resaurant. Each restaurant has a deck [as you can see on the right side] where you can sit and eat. It's beautiful. There's a fountain in the middle of the lake, too. You can also take them canoe rides like they do in Italy. Miss Jackie woulda just loved it! Ya'll know what I'm talkin about right? Those really long canoes where the guy sings and paddles you across the water. Those.

This is another view. Tchocky: you woulda loved these shops. They had *EVERYTHING* They even had an entire store dedicated to 70's, 80's, and 90's bands and I saw bagillions of Radiohead stuff. From T-shirts to those metal lunch boxes to pens and paper. Everything! The silver and gold is super cheap here too. I just got me 2 new silver rings. LOVE THEM!

That is a picture of the steak house. Delcious, I must say!

This is a picture of all of the shops. Just pretend those buildings are painted different colors and they're pastel. There are Christmas lights hanging and twinlking different colors. Each striped thingy is a different shop. There were tons. That was just one little section.

Told you there was a Hard Rock Cafe. It was on "celebrity circle" on Broadway at the Beach. :)

We also went to Ripley's Aquarium and that was so neat. I took a lot more pictures but don't have them downloaded yet. Mahhaha! Sorry! I do have some of the sharks that were swimming over us. What you do, incase you have no idea what thsi Aquarium place is... You pay a bagillion dollars. You go into this HUGE place. They have a manmade salt water HUGEMONGUS lake/ocean thingy. Well, at the bottom of it is like a hallway that's kinda rounded and there's glass from your waist up, even on top. So you can see the fish, sharks, eel, stingrays, turtles, craps, starfish, etc. It is really neat. Here's a couple pictures from there.

Not sure if that is the same shark, but the bottom one swam directly over my head so i just looked straight up and took a picture in hopes it would turn out cause the flash was reflecting off of the glass. Man I miss my digital camera. :(

That's all of the pictures I have uploaded right now. There will be more, I assure you. I just wanted ya'll to see what all we did. Oh, after we left Broadway at the Beach we went back to the hotel and swam in the pool and hot tubs, yanno the normal stuff. We also went for a walk on the beach and night and we'd sit out there at night on our blanket for awhile and just be. We went seashell hunting and everything. I'll just post these last few pictures of me and Steve for ya'll to see then I gotta get all of this stuff unpacked and these clothes washed! Sheesh!

alright, i'll be making a post within a few days of the stuff we bought [for tchocky] and all of the crazy things that happened on the trip to and from and probably some more pictures. :) Hope ya'll enjoy!
