Thankfulness
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name. Psalm 100:4
Do we treat God like our family doctor? By that I mean, go to Him when we’re in need of urgent care, but when He answers we don’t say, “Thank you.” The psalmist had a better approach. He said enter His presence with thanksgiving and then, for His eternal care be thankful unto Him and bless His name. It will be a more blessed relationship if we give to Him as He has given to us.

Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul,
Thank you, Lord, for making me whole;
Thank you, Lord, for giving to me
Thy great salvation so rich and free.
