I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. Malachi 3:17
He that spared not His own Son. Romans 8:32
The God-fearing people who had heard His Word and thought on His name were promised they would be His. Their wandering and straying were over. As His jewels, He promised, as a loving Father to spare His sons. Because of His love for all mankind, however, He would not spare His own Son. He purposely spared not His own Son, that once straying sinners might be spared eternally. May our hearts rise in worship as we consider this today. --Arnot P. McIntee
