[God] has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Eph. 2:6). We have been lifted from the status of being unworthy to loosen even a sandal strap, now to sit with Christ in heavenly places. What grace! What love! Christ took the reverse journey. Though equal with God, He left heaven’s glory, stooping to wash the dirty feet of His disciples, then to death on the cross for your sins and mine. What grace! What love! --David Logan
