poetry contest delayed temporarily...
The link poetry contest is an excellent idea....an idea whose time has come! But I've become busy...had a new baby, got bogged down in other stuff. So, it won't be as soon as I thought.
I'm looking for collaborators....people who will help publicize it, judge it, put together the journal, etc. Please contact me if you're interested.
The idea is simple: link poetry and link haiku just include links and words or letters can link to anything: pictures, sites, music, etc. No entry fee. Winners get published in an online journal (annual?) tentatively called a href...judges are prohibited from entering.
I have been doing link poetry for a while at my poetry site and have gotten some others started on it, but it's a new thing, not many people that I know of are actively working on it. I welcome you to try it.
When you do, I hope we can get a couple of sites (one for poetry, one for haiku) and get started. Then we need judges, publicity, etc.
