gas prices! america's hell!

it's going great so far today! yesterday, my dad and i walked across the old chain of rocks bridge and now i have a blister on my foot because i wore the wrong shoes, which brings me to my question: can blisters be unpainfully popped? hmmm. well, today i want to talk about the high gas prices. and why people won't just park their cars and pick up a bike. it could be a form of protest and frugalism. but, america is also very overweight. so more people are saying "screw the bike! i'll just blow my paycheck at the pump!" or, they go out just to drive around or to make useless trips to wal-mart or mcdonalds. it's very aggrivating! i know a girl at my school who has her mother drive her to see her boyfriend that lives 4 streets over! i walk to my boyfriend's house! he lives about a mile from my house! mainly i walk because my father won't give me a ride unless it is nessicary, i admit, if he would give me a ride i would take it. but, the walking is good for you. keeps me in shape. what i'm saying is, we can fight 2 battles if we just ditch the cars. those battles are: obesity and gas prices. but, if the gas prices didn't stop people from driving around, then some girl isn't going to either! oy! america makes me sick! well, have a splendid day!
