hello everyone who reads my blog! how's your day going? mine's going just dandy. i took this quiz at my school to see if i would be a good mother, that way if i was maybe my mom would leave me the heck alone about being a good mom, and it said i was a , to quote "a good mom but, in many ways a bad mom." i think i faltered when it came to the discipline part of the quiz. i chose consistant instead of only when the child needs it. and mild punishment as aposed to easy punishment. now, what i wanna know is, why am i considered a "bad mom" for being a consistant punisher? am i wrong to want my future kids to be good and not spoiled? and i consider mild punishment grounding them to their room. or giving them a good lecture. i asked the teacher who handed them out what mild punishment was in their book and she said "giving them a time out is considered mild punishment" so i asked what grounding them was and she said it was hard punishment. the world is becoming to easy on kids! if we keep catering to their "needs" your going to have a paris hilton for a daughter and a george W. bush for a son! you need to make them work and know how hard it is to provide for a family. giving them whatever they want isn't going to help them when mommy and daddy die and they're out in the real world! ugh! parents sometimes make me angry! well, gotta skidattle!
