The first match
This is the start of yet another year in bowling, all my time spent
with the Beaumaris bowling club. I am getting older and the opponents
seem to be getting younger. I have started this year
without my usual eagerness, maybe this will improve when
the weather warms up, we'll wait and see. I want to try and be
honest with myself as the year progresses. Saturday
last saw Beaumaris beat Denbigh 11 to 3 , not bad. I played
Martin Syvlis and thought he was even less interested than me,
the cold got to him and I know Martin willl improve when the sun gets
on his back. The Harris boys had a bad day at the office but this wiill
change!
