Three Shades

Twenty-five years ago poets Apirana Taylor, Lewis Scott and Lindsay Rabbitt branded themselves as Three Shades for a series of gigs: A Maori, an African American and a European New Zealander.  Their styles are distinctly different, and they have revitalised the show, which includes elements of theatre and music, for the 21^st century.
