My Name is Meaghan, I am 25 years old, I am an
Army Fiancé & I am very proud to be engaged to my wonderful Soldier.
We have been together for 4 years and engaged for a little over a year and a half. We have a beautiful bouncing baby girl. He has been in the service for 7 years now and has just recently transferred from the US Air Force to the Army.
At present he is currently based in KY for training of his new job and I am back home in Australia, we are currently waiting patiently for the petition for a fiancé visa for myself to be approved and issued, then bubs and I will return back to the US where we will have a shot gun wedding and settle in. Not my intentions to have a shot gun wedding but it can not be helped, we have 90 days once I enter to get married.
Fingers crossed we get to spend a bit of time together as a family before he gets deployed, if he gets deployed.
Although I am yet to be an Army Wife you could almost say i have had a taste of whats yet to come, although we have been together for over 4 Years most of that time has been spend apart, stretched across different sides of the world, sleeping in cold empty beds, endless emails, long haul flights to spend time together, expensive phone bills, and millions of tears shed out of loneliness & poor me's, fear of whats to come, and joy to learn what i am about to become..... A PROUD ARMY WIFE
