My Weekend in a Nutshell???
Well I survived the weekend with little to no cuts and bruises…..haa haa haa. Anyways, it was a good weekend. My boyfriend and I did go out on Friday and ate some most delicious Mexican food, I had Camarones al mojo de ajo, mmmm…..they were so good. It’s shrimp and mushrooms in like chile sause, and it was so hot but sooooo gooood. Because it was so hot I ended up drinking 3 margaritas….haa haa…and let me tell you, they don’t go light on the tequila. I was pretty buzzed and could barely move….haa haa. We then went and rented some movies and got some Mint Chocolate Chip Ice cream for later. MMM MMM mMMM…..yummy. We watched Hoodwinked (haa haa it was pretty good!)…the little squirrel guy that is super hyper is crazy…my boyfriend said “If Angel (my puppy) could talk that would be her”….haa haa haa, it’s so true! We also watched Tristan and Isolde….I loved it, it was good!
Saturday we had his 2 kids and our one kid (Angel) and we went to the big city to go visit my parents, traveling with 3 kids is difficult…haa haa hhaaaa. Well so we get in the car and start to get on the Interstate and the car is making a funky loud noise, it sounded like maybe it needed oil. So we stop along the way look at the engine, the oil, the tires, etc…everything seems fine, so we get a quart o’ oil and that doesn’t help. We go to Les Schwab when we get to the other town where my parents live and it seems like we’ll never get outta there, it’s so busy on Saturday’s. We walked to Burger King to eat while we waited. It was pretty good fast food, I snuck Angel in too. Had her in her bag/carrier thing and we got her a plain burger and she ate it up. The kids didn’t eat nothing but fries and they stole my drink….little thiefs anyways…I guess my diet pepsi was better than the apple juice…haa haa..so we then walked back to Les Schwab and we were gonna have to wait 30-45 mins. Yeah. So we walk over to the Sports Complex ( a big park where there are like 4 baseball fields and bleachers and concession stands) and there is only one gate in and out so we figure it will be good, we can let the kids run. So we do…it wore all the kids down, my parents were out yard sale-ing so they came by and hung out with us, it took a few hours. We then got the car back, still was making the noise, but it has new tires, we go to my parents house hang out there, Angel poops on the floor…grrr…then we went shopping came back to town, took the kids to their mom’s and then went home and unloaded groceries and made lasagna for dinner.
Sunday was pretty boring. My boyfriend stayed up late so he could get ready for night shift starting Sunday night so he was sleeping most of the morning. I finished my book “A Million Little Pieces”. Man, it was good, but the last page made me sad, the page that tells you what happened to all of them afterwards. I wanted to cry! I watched the rest of Elizabeth I the two-show-series that was on HBO (my parents taped it for me!!!)…it was good, the end of that made me want to cry too! I started crocheting a blanket for Angel too…I haven’t crocheted anything in forever so it took me forever, but we’ll see how it comes out. It’s a purple-ish one, it’s that yarn that starts with dark purple, gets lighter and lighter til it is white then gets darker and darker til it is dark purple again…hope that makes sense….if I do it all right it should be cool! We shall see. My hands were sore though, I haven’t done that forever.
Well, today, back to work, don’t want to be here, my throat is sore, think I am getting sick or my allergies are acting up. Either way it sucks. I don’t wanna be here today either, I am so tired, I want to be home crocheting and watching some chick movie…haa haa….oh well. Oh yeah, I bought this bandana thing for Angel at the store this weekend….it says “I’m too sexy for my scarf”…..haa haaa haa….I love it, it’s red and has white letters…she looks so cute, I will have to take a pic this evening and show ya’ll! I really need to do some house cleaning at home tonight while my boyfriend is at work, Angel thinks she owns the house and it has her toys and shredded paper all over, everywhere…haa haaa haa. Well I better get back to work, or something like that, got a conference call in a ½ hour so best get prepared for that!
