No, Shelly your great!  Haa haa haa...anyways, I like the surveys and all that beacuse it gives me something exciting to do instead of write about how boring my life is...LOL! 

Anyways, well today is Thursday and I will be in training most of the day tody, have one from 9-12 and another from 1-3 (hopefully not that long, but ya never know).  Ewww.....

Last night was stormy out here, some thunder, tons of wind and some rain.  We stayed in and watched the movie "The Skulls" it's kind of an older movie, but neither of us had seen it, it seemed long,  but it was good.  Secret societies....mmmm..they are interesting and creepy all at the same time....but hey Paul Walker was in it, so that makes things even better.  I actually got to meet him, and Steve Zahn and Lee Lee Sobieski (sp?)...they are pretty nice in real life too.  Gosh that must have been in like 1999 or 2000 when I met them.  I met them on the set of Joy Ride (the movie)...they filmed it around here, both where I live now and where my parents live (my "hometown").  When they get to the gas station and have to walk in the restauraunt naked that is the major part in my hometown...haa haa...those poor guys had to do that scene (walking into the store) about 5 times, and they were truly naked.  We chatted with them a bit when that scene was done and they had only towels on! Haa haa haa....You know the part where they get to the bar and they are having shots and then they go into the hotel room and Steve Zahn's character is trying to hit on Lee Lee until the phone rings and it's the trucker saying "I thought there was no girl"....that is where I live now...that bar and motel room are in the town I live in now....isn't that funny! 

Anyways, a little reminiscing for you!  Umm...oh yeah last night, well we watched the movie, ate some strawberry shortcakes and later on popcorn...yes we had the munchies!  My boyfriend is working overtime today so that means he will be bringin in the big bucks...LOL.  I better get some work done before the trainings begin!  Have a fabulous day ya'll!

Not a terribly ugly tree is it?  There are many "magikal" properties of the tree and it is thought to be the "MOTHER" of all plants.  Anyways, so according to the chart on Aly's blog, this tree represents me....here is what it says about me:

Okay, so I have to admit, this describes me pretty well actually...I thrive on challenges and "complications" that's probably why I went to college..LOL.  I am very emotional and I do like to draw attention to myself, hence why I sing karaoke...and I am artistic and passionate and I am not one to easily forgive (if I do). The part about being both dependent and independent is TOTALLY ME!!!! Creepy!!!!!!

 

 

Okay as this day goes on I am finding myself more depressed.  I don't know why, maybe starting off my day mad about stupid shit and then having my boyfriend be pissed off at me but won't talk about it then off we go to work.  Then bad news about a co-worker doesn't help and another co-worker just went home crying (a male too) so what the hell is going on around here?  Depression is in the air i think.  I really need something to cheer me up, but that is most likely impossible since I am at work.  I would like to go home and be with my dog and lay on the huge bean bag with a bowl of ice cream or something like that.  Before I depress everyone else I will go now.

Yeah, good morning on this Sunny and not completely smokey Tuesday morning.  Well I've been up since about 4am this morning, but I actually feel rested and like I slept good for once.  Though this morning sucked.  My dog peed on the floor and my boyfriend made sure to tell me about it, I get up to get in the shower and get ready for work and I see he has placced a papertowel over the pee spot.  He does this all the time it really pisses me off and annoys me...he tells me that she peed or pooped on the floor then he leaves it.  So then I go clean it up, cuz that is gross to leave it and it takes like 20 seconds to clean up ya know....I mean she's a freakin Chihuhua she can't leave that big of a mess.  It is so irritating that he can't bother to help out but makes sure to tell me about it.  Then he gets all pissed off at me and doesn't bother to talk to me and walks out the door...so I finished getting ready for work and made sure Angel had food and water and all was well and off I went.

Anyways, besides being highly irritated, I feel well rested, a little depressed but overall not too bad.  I got yahoo messenger installed last night Shel!  Now we can chat sometime.  Well I should get some work done today,  so I will do the "If your bored and you know it clap your hands" survey and post it a bit later.  For now I hope ya'll have a great day.  Oh and thanks Aly for making my day with the jokes and cartoons on your website today, I really needed that!   

Mood: Shocked, and appaled, but can't tell why, because I will get in trouble if I do!

It is super smokey outside, I guess there are 3 pretty good sized fires not too far from here and then this weekend I found out there was a fire in town that burned down 2 houses and damaged 2 others...a co-worker of mine lives over there and was evacuated from her house...creepy huh! 

Then I heard news that a coworker had a stroke and isn't doing well.  That is super shitty. 

Other than that, it's  Monday morning and when I left for work this morning my dog was still in bed, she didn't want to get up at all....lazy ass...so I made sure the dog door was open and she had food and water and headed off....she didn't budge!  Lazy freakin dog! Haa haa haa.  She is the one who used to wake me up at 5 in the morning,  now she doesn't wake up...hmmm....I just hope that she'll go outside on her own and not get out of the yard.  Some new people just moved in kittycorner across from us and they have a dog that is tied up outside and was barking like mad all morning, so I hope that doesn't entice my dog to go over there and get out of the yard, I will be pissed if I come home and my dog is gone.  The other dog looks like a pit bull puppy too...better not think about having Chihuahua for brunch or it will be having a .40 S&W bullet for dinner!

Anywho, so I got the computer set up at home....yeah!!! Will get yahoo messenger soon so I can chat with ya'll and other than that, not a whole heck of a lot going on around here.  I should get back to work though!  Chat later!  Much Luvins!

Yep, you read the date correctly...here I am updating on a weekend, what does that mean, well it means that I must have gotten the computer set up!! Uh, huh!!  Yep, we are actually able to almost just "live" in our house!  Painting is practically finished (minus bathrooms and bedrooms, but the rest of the house is set up and ready to use...I have been UNpacking...yeah it's a miracle, I never thought I would actually get to this point!

So anyways, my boyfriend has to work this weekend, while I am playing catch up at home...yep, I can't seem  to keep up with dishes and laundry while I finish one load, here comes another and I'm not even finished picking up the mess left over from moving.  What a pain!

Anyways, so my weekend has just been unpacking and makin our house livable.  I gotta water plants, can't forget that before tomorrow and I go back to work. 

Went to Home Depot on Friday and got some stuff for the house, that store ROCKS!! It really does.  My boyfriend bought tons of stuff for the house.  Plus I found a few watermelon things for our kitchen as well.  I am so excited.  Oh my boyfriend bought a HUGE beanbag chair thing for me...how sweet huh!  He bought it for my "reading corner".  We bought a cool lamp for the corner too.  I just finished setting up the books on the bookshelves in that corner, so now it is all official.  Can't wait until I actually have time to use it correctly!  The computer desk is all set up too.  I will put pics on here as soon as I finish up fixing some last things in some of these rooms so ya'll can see the before and after pictures and see just how much better this place looks.  I am so excited.  In college I never thought I would actually be "settled" in my life.  But things are starting to look up!  I mean I am with a man I love and wouldn't mind sharing most (if not all) my life with, we have 2 kids (his kids) a dog, a new car, a home (not a house) and a white picket fence....crazy! 

Well anyways, I should be getting back to the unpacking...I think I am gonna run a load of dishes and laundry and see if that helps at all!!  Then I have to start thiinking about dinner too...maybe chicken and rice and taters...that will be easy enough and yummy as all heck!  I already started drinking wine so I need to have something easy for dinner...LOL!  Oh yeah, one question before I go do laundry, dishes and water the plants and unpack, I want to paint our dining room but am not sure what color....I was thinking something dark but not red or black....no green either....what is a good color for a dining room?  Maybe a dark purple-ish color?  I would like to decorate it with like wine decor (like a wine bottle border, grapes, etc...) or anything.  I want it to be inviting and comforting, yet still me ya know...any ideas out there?  Let me know!  Will chat at ya'll later, hope you had a fabulous weekend!!!!!!!

Yeah, it's Finally Friday.  I only work until noon today, so that is awesome.  We need to go to the next town over to the East of us to go to Home Depot and buy some things for the house, we got to get some doors to replace the crappy ones in the house, some outlet cover things (as the ones in our house are all brown and old, several are cracked and broken anyways), some lightswitch covers, some more paint for the master bathroom, maybe paint for the bedrooms too, as we didn't paint any of them...so sick of painting, okay not really but I wanna paint fun stuff like fish in the bathroom, etc...also need to buy some trim to replace the crappy trim around the house, and possibly some french doors to replace the sliding glass door that is a piece of crap too!  Should be fun though as we are buying stuff for our house!  We can almost "live" in our house now, just waiting for the wax on the living room floor to dry so we can set up the couches and entertainment center.  This weekend I will get to decorate finally and do some unpacking as we are pretty well set up in the majority of the house.  I am so excited, finally you can see the progress we have made!  I will get pictures up as soon as I can!

Other than that,  just working now, busy but I am taking a quick break to update ya'll.  I hope everyone is having a wonderful Friday and a great weekend.  I will try to get our computer at home all set up,  we got DSL so I gotta figure out how that works and if I get it working I may be able to update this weekend, but don't hold your breaths!  Well I should go to work now and get ready for my meeting.  Have a good weekend!

Okay, so today I don't have a ton of things to update on, life has been work and paint, or clean the house...been busy there, but we are almost done and things are looking up.  I may be able to decorate (hang pictures, place knick knack stuff, etc...) this weekend, as well as just relax a bit! Mood: Doing all right, though I am bored outta my skull sitting here at work...I did read an interesting news article about some new coral found way below the ocean top, off the coast of Florida...may have unknown medicinal benefits!! Woo hoo!

Okay, so yep it's another boring day at work,  makes the day seem to go by so slow.  I swear I've been here 8 hours,  but no such luck, still have 3 hours til I've been here for 8...blah!  Anyways, so my parents are coming back from their vacation this evening.  They are going to stop by our new place on their way home.  I told them to beware because our house is like a construction zone right now.  It seriously is a mess,  I mean we are pulling up all the crappily (is that a word?  It is now cuz I used it ) put in, half ass job of linoleum.  So there are pieces of floor all over and it's a yucky mess!  Oh well though, we are almost done with the walls throughout the house.  Then we will work on the floors. 

The biggest thing after that will be fixing up and painting the second bathroom, it will be the kids' bathroom and guests.  We are going to be doing a tropical fish/ocean theme.  We got a cool greenish blue color for the walls (name of paint color is Lagoon Turquoise) and we are going to paint all the trim a blue color called Anchors Aweigh (quite appropriate don't ya think ) and we are ordering these cool plastic fish, crabs and sea horses, and some real dried starfish and my boyfriend's best friend is giving us an old fishing net thing that we are gonna put on the ceiling and stick some of those little guys in it.  Then I am gonna paint this wooden medicine cabinet thing blue and green and paint some fish and stuff on it.  That will be the fun project in our house, and I am looking forward to it, though that will come later once we get the floors and rest of the house done!  I can't wait to get the walls done so we can put up the blinds and curtains again, I feel so exposed with those huge windows always being open like they are, I mean our creepy weird neighbor can look right in if she so chooses. 

Speaking of her, last night around 9pm my boyfriend and I and Angel were hangin out looking at magazines we got in the mail and Angel started barking like crazy...we thought she was freakin out over our reflections in the windows...we were half right, our neighbor was out there in her yard raking at 9pm at night with no lights on....okay, that's a little strange, I mean yeah it's nice and cool out, but how can you rake when you can't see?  Weird.  Whatever floats her boat I guess.

Anyways, I should get back to work instead of rambling on!  I hope all is well for everyone in Blog Land...Miss Pixie, it was good to hear from you!!  Miss ya girl, was wondering what happened to ya, you just kinda disappeared ya know!  I will go onto myspace when I get the home computer set up (maybe this weekend...hopefully, ,I am crossing my fingers!) as I am blocked from that site at work, probably so I can't go stalking or something! LOL!

So I survived the weekend, barely...my body so wants to give up on me right now.  I have a killer headache, my feet are so sore, my throat hurts as does the rest of my body, but there is still too much work to be done at our new place.  Everything we do seems to require more time and input and energy than we anticipated.  It is looking better,  but all I see is what isn't done, the things we still need to do and that is making me crazy and quite possibly sick too!  Oh well I guess that is life. 

Anywho, hope ya'll had a fabulous weekend, mine was all right, my best friend came over Saturday and helped me clean some things and drink some margaritas.  The rest of my weekend was spent painting walls, tending to my puppy, scraping paint off counters and floors and doing laundry.  I can't wait til we can actually LIVE in our new place...I am too worn out to keep this up. 

So my best friend's fiance is starting to get me worried about her well being.  He is super controlling of her...I didn't realize how bad til he bitched at me on the phone while she was at my place saying "She better f&*$ing be home when I get home from work, and she better not be drunk either"...whoah buddy!  He doesn't let her see her parents very often, he won't let her get a job, keeps her home with his kids (2 of them) and hers while he goes out and golfs and gets drunk...tells her she can't go out unless he goes with her because he can't trust her and on and on.  Red caution flags have popped up in both her head and mine, yet she stays.  I can't do anything about it cuz ultimately it is her choice to stay even though she knows better. 

Other than that, another friend of mine called and told me she had gotten married again, to the jerk boyfriend who beat her when they were dating last time, she married him and he hit her again, and well he's in jail again and has a restraining order on him...WTF!!!!!!!!  Once we get the house "semi" in order I'm gonna go pick her up and she can stay with us a while, she already offered to help paint, or whatever, she just needs to get away or a little while.  I totally agree.

Well that's my news, off to work now so I can finish up my day there and go home and paint or something of the sort.  Have a fabulous Monday (if that's possible!)

So yeah, ,today is Friday.  Unfortunately I have to work the full 8 hour day, but that is all right, I will survive.  I then have to go to Wal-Mart...more painting supplies are needed, fun times!!!  I would so rather paint then clean so I am trying not to complain about it! 

Last night our neighbors were drunk and yelling right near our bedroom window, it was annoying,  we were getting ready for bed and between Angel deciding to chew on her bone in bed, and the neighbors yelling about stupid shit, we were getting a little irritated!!!

Well tomorrow my friend Shan gets to walk down the aisle in her beautiful black cap and gown and fluffy tassel to receive her diploma cover.  I will not be there except in spirit  as this year we have the house to work on, so no vacation.  However next year we may plan a New York trip,  that would be exciting as neither of us have been there.  The big trip one day will be to Hawaii...because we decided a while back that when we got ready to get married we were going to elope in Hawaii and get married on the beach...so if I ever tell you we are goin to Hawaii, you'll know that we are walking the plank (LOL). 

Well, I am at work, obviously not working too hard since I am typing on here huh! Haa haa...I have a busy weekend (AGAIN) coming up...my best friend may be coming over to help me paint and clean though, that would be so kick ass!  I haven't got to spend much time with her lately either, and she is having problems with her fiance, and needs time away...girl time.  We just bought a blender so we can make some margaritas and paint...should be interesting....good thing we are only working on the white walls! Haa haa....could be scary doing anything else drunk on margaritas!

Well I guess that is all I have to update for now....tired but doing well today, ,probably because it's Friday and I don't care what anyone thinks I AM SLEEPING IN TOMORROW...even if sleeping in for me is like 7-8am, I will do it! 

Oh yeah, my doggy is learning to use the doggy door...it was so funny she can get out just fine, coming in however is another story, she stands there and swats the door open with her paw and tries to sneak in when it swings, but she doesn't usually get it swingin that far so it doesn't quite work out, so she sits there and whines and barks for us to let her in!  However this morning she used it just fine without whining or barking, so we shall see.....she's such a dork sometimes!  Okay, ,really going now...have a great weekend ya'll!

Yeah, I am dead tired, my feet hurt, my leg hurts, my ankle hurts, and I have a bagillion bruises and cuts on my hands and legs.  BUT....the kitchen has been painted and the living room is almost finished! Yeah!!  Okay, so we went with Christmas colors in our kitchen, everyone keeps pointing that out to us...that was not our intent, we just thought they would look good together, and well, I really like our kitchen, I think it looks funky and inviting at the same time.  We are totally going for a watermelon theme, everyone does apples, chili peppers, etc... but not many (none that I know of) decorate with watermelons so we'll give it a shot!

Red is such a powerful color and it makes you feel comfortable, passionate and hungry, hence a good kitchen or dining room color.  However the red we got is a bit brighter than we expected! The greens we got were almost what we expected, well the dark green was perfect, the lighter a little brighter as well. So our two shades of green are a dark green for the trim and a lighter green (spinach is the name of the green) for the doors of the cupboards...it looks so cool, but weird ya know! Anyways, when I get pictures I will show you but first we want to get the whole house done.  It's been a rough two weeks, moving, cleaning and painting, I need a nap.  No rest for the wicked though, I am at work.  This weekend my best friend may be over to help me finish painting the living room, that would be awesome because then we can actually use that room as it was meant to be used...anywho....I am so tired, and don't really know if any of this makes sense so I will go.  I am leaving you with a funny top 25 list that my friend emailed me....so sad, I really am a grown up! We finally get to start painting today, I am super psyched!  I've been so busy, I am drained and my poor body aches, but I know it will all be worth it.  I am working half a day today and then we will get to paint, I am so excited.  We are gonna start with the kitchen, it is gonna look so good, I know it.  I took all my "Before" pictures, and then will do my "After" shots...that way we can compare and see what a difference a little paint and some elbow grease can do. 

So I pretty much spent all weekend cleaning.  Yeah, cleaning,  those people that lived there before are dirty pigs, I don't think they really ever cleaned that house, or at least not within the past year.  They have a cat, 2 dogs, and a kid, and well it shows!  However, that is all behind us now because I spent my days off cleaning.  It now smells better and is looking better, and looking  more like home.  I got the bathroom all set up, it looks homey now, the bedroom is almost done, and once the painting is done in the kitchen, all will be done there.  I CAN'T WAIT TO PAINT! Yep, I hate cleaning, absolutely hate it, but I LOVE painting...I know I am sick....so the kitchen we are gonna paint it to be country kitchen style...red (Bourgoinvilla - according to the paint strips) for the walls and background of cupboards, a dark hunter green for the trim and a little lighter green to bring out the inside of the cupboards...it is gonna be so cute...now I will just have to decide whether we want to decorate with apples, watermelons, or chili peppers....hee hee....those are the colors for them!  Yep I'm a dork!

Well Just wanted to let ya'll know I'm alive, thinking of all of you and even though I am busy, ya'll are with me and in my thoughts.  Miss Jackie, I hope all is well, your in my thoughts, have fun with the carpet stuff.....Miss Shelly I AM SO PROUD OF YOU!!!  Congratulations on your graduation!  Miss Aly, sorry that the Apartment hunt didn't go smoothly, but it happens for a reason, the right one will pop up before you know it!  Miss Teri,  I hate bug bites, they suck!  Have fun with the unpacking, I am looking forward to that!  To all my other peeps (LOL) out there....much luv and hopin all is well!

Oh my gosh my body is so sore, did I mention how I was cleaning in the shower yesterday (SOS pad scrubbing...I was hardcore scrubbing the soap scum outta there, told ya them people was dirty piggies) and well I had my flip flops on, water got onto the linoleum and I stepped out, slipped and bruised the hell outta my ankle, it hurts so bad, it's the one I screwed up before kickin it old school...it swelled up a little...man I am good! Haa haa!
