Trillium Ontario sucks right up until you get your file squared away......for me...over a year and counting
Just a beef today.
Trillium, my first cheque for 1.99, yes just 1.99 came with a letter and a "Bill" for 600 plus dollars.
yup, Trillium.
Next, 5 months after the fact, they inform me that they are not paying for some of my medications because the doctor who prescribed them did not submit an obsolete form or instead, write a simple 3 number Limited Use Code on the original prescription.
Well the Pharmacy has been filling the script, they know the code and just put it into their database as being understood between them, the pharmacy and the fam doc.
I then submit the invoices to insurance, no problem.
I then submit copies to Trillium, 5 months later and 500 hundred owing. Yes the meds run about 2500.00 per month. I only make 2000 per month. So Trillium says because there is no Limited Use which is up to the doctor only, not Trillium for approval, Trillium says we are not going to pay.
Fast forward, fam doc writes on script the code. I sent Trillium a copy of script with code written on it.
If this does not straighten out the situ, well.............I now don't expect Trillium to backdate it for the last 5 months as being authorized and understood by all Parties involved.
I no Trillium will not accept this as an obvious backdate.
Time will tell if they have brains, no wait, they might have brains but have sub-standard IQ's to figure out this simplicity in administrative operating procedures with a "reading into legally" the backdate.
Somehow I picture a bunch of people working there (place profanity here) ssssloooooooowwwlllllyyyyyyyyy.
yea I am pissed at them for being broke the last week of every month, haveing to forgo my meds and eating just to pay for my wifes meds (without them she would die within a week). My meds, I can last a long time without but takes months to recover afterwards.

Any more procedural harrassment 5 months after the fact and I will file an affidavit, forma pauperis of course so it only costs me 30 bucks and your lawyers a fortune as I can represent myself. Of course all phone converstions shall be recorded.
