Sorry Toronto that mandatory minimums for gun crimes have not made a dent. Once one gun carrying crack head goes to jail another one just takes their place.
Sorry Toronto that you have to face kids getting good grades kicked out of school for repeatedly having cannabis tea before school, serving a "repeat" minimum sentance, then getting out of jail with no future, deciding to carry hand guns and sell crack and meth.
Sorry Toronto that you are just a big trouble sucking vortex like that found in a black hole at the center of the universe - wait, you are at the center of the universe - I believe even though that position might conflict with my bible studies.

I AM NOT SORRY Toronto that I will now double the minimum sentances that I have set for the Courts increasing to the approximation of murder. After all a hand gun is just used for murder so the person carrying the hand gun will eventualy murder anyway, regardless if its just used for stealing a .29 cent box of popeye cigerettes by a 12 year old.
I AM NOT SORRY Toronto for spending several billion dollars to increase police surveillance in all urban areas looking for all the grandmas and grandpas with indoor gardens growing a benign herb. After all, they just might be haveing YOUR grandparents over for a cup of cannabis tea that helps their osteo-arthritis, and no, they will not get adjoining cells in my brand new shiny super jails.
