Leadership Candidate, how easy can it be? Probaly throw my hat into the ring.
Fri Night, 10 Feb evening till well past the witching hour I am sure.
First, buy Lib memebership......easy enough done.
Second, read the goddo-dam Lib Procedures.
Third, run a non-account, non-fundng race. This keeps it as simple as possible, even possible for the ordinary bloke or blarney. Cost Zero.
Fourth, gather signutres reguired. This is so painlessly easy in ones Electorl Riding. Vistit a few appartments. Remember siginiatures are not vouches for votes. The signatures just acknowledge that you could and did talk to them. Case closed. Can be done in 2 to 4 hours. Cost time only.
Fith, no to check Lib Policies on Leadership to see if I qualify as part of the club by having to have so and so and what not..........checking.......working....still checking..... back later .......still checking. Can't find nothing, so I am in the clear so far.
Sixth, throw Hat into Party. Media through my Don or Duff Man. They will think I am crazy anyway. Who cares about democracy anyway, huh? Cannot have 15 odd million people throwing their hat into the ring and report on every one.
Seventh. Required Parrty Voters from coast to coast to cosat Easy, Poach them from other candidates through an engineered set of stages leading to a Policy implicatin Do not each Lib Leader Candidate get a voters list? Which leads me to number Eight.
Eight. Contact each one and have each supporter set up a "free" Blog advertising the advantages of moi as the Lib Leader.
So there you have a cost accountant free Lib Party Leader Run. Oh, yea, travel to whateven Convention Site and stay somewhere for notheing and watch the results unfold.
