Everything boils down to........
whether or not the Conservatives are willing to settle for a minority win or wait it out for a potential majority win.
We have to wait as everyone else is..... for the Polls.
Laytons and Martins deal means nothing. To have Layton and Martin say the deal will be implimented over the next two years could mean at the very least a "File" is created and passed around to Cabinet Ministers and Senior Civil Servents for "comments". That the money is actually, in accounting terms put in the "committment" column in the budget.
Layton might feel that he can campaign on this, and yes you know whats coming, BUT, it is so shallow no-one is going to believe him.
For Martin and Co. its just a straw to buy some time. No surprise, hold out for polling.
Like the media is properly reporting, its just a deflection attempt from Gomery.
Its up to the Harperites, minority now, or maybe a majority later.
The seperatist polling in Quebec is up over 50 percent. I have dealt with Quebec seperation earlier in the Blog. Its actually pretty easy to deal with.
