6 Feb early morning just after the witching hour...
This guy JCT puts the Alcohol Generation into perspective with the newer Cannabis Herbal Generation.
Even Stephen Harper touted as the younger political generation stated
he wanted his kids to drink beer which destroys brain cells versus the
odd cannabis tea which creates new White Matter Brain Cells while
protecting the Gray Matter Brain Cells.

Last week's
Nickelback concert at Credit Union Centre was
supposed to be fun for Dayle
Ellis, but it didn't turn out
that way. Ellis said she left well before the
show ended,
appalled by the number of people smoking marijuana around
her, her young daughter and nieces, and the absence of any
response from
security officials at the venue.
JCT: She didn't mention whether any of
the smokers were
unruly like drunks security have to eject at the concerts
of
old.
Ellis, her nine-year-old daughter and two nieces, aged eight
and 10, are all big fans of Nickelback, and Ellis thought it
would be
fun to take the kids to the Jan. 26 show. "I was
naive. I've had people say
to me, 'You should have done some
research.' I never did," Ellis said. "Now
that I know, it
was irresponsible of me, but prior to (the concert) I was
unaware and naive. I'm terribly upset with myself that I put
my kids in
this position."
JCT: Ask her how many fights took place at the concerts
of
her youth where the intoxication of choice was booze. Then
ask if she
really prefers exposing her kids to the alcohol
generation rather than the
quiet smoking generation.
Ellis said she was forced to leave her seat,
children in
tow, as a man sitting near her lit up, even after she
announced marijuana and children do not mix.
JCT: I bet it made
lighting up all the more enjoyable
knowing he was giving the good example to
kids from the
alcoholic generation. I get the same kind of reaction when I
promote pot politically to kids too, as if it's some
terrible thing that
they have to be shielded from.
"It doesn't make sense to me how ignorant
we as humans are,"
she said. "When he sees that there's three young girls
sitting there, why couldn't he have gone downstairs, gone
out to the
smoking area and just smoked his joint there?"
JCT: Remember the days
when they smoked tobacco at hockey
games?
Ellis tried finding
different seats, but could not stay in
the upper level because the smell of
marijuana was so
strong.
JCT: I guess this concert was for the
herbal generation.
She then went to complain to security officials near
the
exit about the drug use in the upper decks. Ellis said she
was told
there was nothing they could do to control that
many people. She left at
that point.
JCT: I guess she'd have preferred the captain of the guard
interrupt the concert to announce that those many people
smoking herb
should cease and desist because it offended the
lady.
Scott Ford,
the marketing and events co-ordinator for Credit
Union Centre, said the
show, which drew close to 12,000
people, was well staffed with security
personnel. "We had
enough staff to manage this crowd and manage it in a safe
and controlled fashion," Ford said. "If a customer goes to
our usher,
which should have been the first line of
communication, we're going to
notify our security people and
they are going to deal with the situation."
He said there
were 40 security personnel at the venue, and 36 ushers who
look after each particular section. There were also 54 event
staff in
T-shirts, along with supervisors, door staff, event
attendants and first aid
personnel. A police presence was
also in the building during the show.
"When you have 12,000 people in the building, you're going
to have a few
that are going to try to break the policy,"
Ford said. "Do we catch all of
them? No. Are we trying to
catch them? Yes we are." Ford said 16 people were
ejected
during the show. Two of those ejections were related to
smoking
violations.
JCT: And the other 14 were for her generation's addiction,
I'd bet. That's the good thing about marijuana, it's not
physically
addictive. If you don't have it, you don't crave
it or suffer withdrawal.
Much like chocolate ice cream, it's
lovely if you've got it but you can do
without if you don't.
"The type of music determines the crowd profile
coming to
the show and I think in her case, she (Ellis) felt that this
show was going to be an easy rock show and it wasn't," Ford
said.
"Nickelback is classified as a heavy rock band, and
the music does have a
bit of an edge to it, and some of the
fans are expecting that
edge."

The Prince of Pot
JCT: Prince of Rot, for those who know him better.
POR: My
letter to the editor:
I find it fascinating a mother would be so
self-centered
that she would take her nine year old child and 8 and 10
year old nieces to a Nickleback concert rather than get a
baby sitter.
Chad Kroeger of Nickelback talks about his love
of beer and pot on stage.
Last Nickleback concert I was at,
Chad Kroeger (the band leader) threw cups
of beer into the
audience and told everyone to light up.
If the three
children in Ms. Ellis' charge - aged 8 to 10 -
are fans of ear splitting
rock by musicians who drink
heavily and smoke pot, then I don't think the
pot revellers
beside them in the concert hall would be that big a deal.
Since when do concert standards for loud, heavy rock get
determined by
the presence of an eight year old? Thats
ridiculous, and Dayle Ellis is
insulting all the adults who
paid good money to have a good time. If you
can't handle the
scene, Ms. Ellis, buy yourself a CD and rock out your way
--
at home. Your children were nonetheless probably having a
good time -
until Uncool Mom over-reacted and freaked out
over nothing.
As a person
with first hand experience about how over-
reactive Saskatchewan can be, I
say chill out over there in
Regina.

JCT: Says it all. While my guerrilla warriors
exert
maximum attrition all fighting their way to the top, Marc
The Narc
Emery bowed down in surrender and defeat. Of
course, that's his function as
a narc mole so they can say:
if Marc Emery is convicted, the law must still
be alive!
I keep hearing reports of losses by Emery's Cannabis Culture
Crowd. One loses here, another extradited there, another
busted here,
another jailed there, with always the same song
and dance: the need to raise
funds to pay lawyers to fight
for our side! The attrition of resources on
their side. And
the lawyers picked are the guys who keep losing since no
matter how many cases Alan Young loses, Narc Emery and the
mainstream
media both keep lauding him as Canada's legal
medpot champion. People have
to ask: how can the law be dead
with so many savvy pro-medpot activists
biting the dust?
That's the role of moles. Keep our side losing, or
perceived
losing.
Only people who dig for their news know of the
many wins of
The Medpot Engineer's guerrilla law army and the inroads
we've won against prohibition. Our winning more than 4000
off the hook
compared to Narc Emery's team always posting
losses. And with more and more
wins coming up for our side.
Certainly there's nothing but more losers
coming out of Narc
Emery's Cannabis Culture Crowd.
