E-mailed the Libs on Leadership criteria, and e-mailed the Cons on Senetor Electoral criteria ...

by: majere

Thurs 17, the witching hour.

Of course I have not heard anything from any Party as of yet.

On another note:

Have not heard anything confirming my Trillium problems, no letter or phone call.  Guess I have to wait for Quarterly Statement to see if they screw me over again.

Still further afield:

The Govs' losing their cannabis battle.  How do you tell?  They are shutting down sites through threats that would cost the average person a legal forturne in trying to keep their cannabis friendly site open.  So much for freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and most of all, the last supposed bastion of freedom - the internet.

So far it is surprising that several sites have shut down yet Marc the Narc Emery who claims to be as broke as bum still has his site up.  We don't call him Narc for nothing.  So sue me.........

The other sites where better anyway.

Way out in left field now:

The Libs can win a majority the next election.   I will go through the details later.

The NDP still don't count unless you count Olivias' and Jacks' combined pay and possible pensions.

cheers :) majere

Well, late into the PM on 15 Feb and no word back from the Cons or Libs.

by: majere

Oh well, maybe they already have their people choosen for their "elected" Senate Seats and as well, the Libs already have their golden boy picked out.

Curious, isn't it?

Niether Web Site has their act together.

What does it take for a Leader to release a set of simple Procedures, and yes they are simple.  Or perhaps, they are trying to imply to the general public that it is somehow complicated and that it takes super intelligent politicians many hours of just talking to figure it out.

Curious.

by: majere

Wed Feb 15, early in the morning.

I wrote the Libs asking for the criteria for running for Liberal Party of Canada Leadership as I could find no info on their web site.....

I wrote the Conservative Party website asking for the criteria for running for an elected Ontario Senate Seat as their is no info on their website.....

Will I hear back with engineered concrete well established logical steps on both questions?

We will wait and see.

Too keep us riff raff out of his hair of course.

How about throwing my hat into the Ontario Senate Seat Race that Stephen Harper Promises.

by: majere

Sun evening 12 Feb

What kind of restrictions is Stephen Harper and his Harrpies could to put into place to get "Their" candidates into the Sentate?

That is my question.

Stepehan Harper with his failed wisdom will screw this one for sure.

I guarentee I will not be able to run even though there is a wheel chair bound quardrapalegic in Parliament.  I can only assume he wanted his token disabled dude, an over overt expression   One of Harpers's flaws for acceptance by the people he loathes.

But there in lies a contadiction in charactor.  He loves his version of his country, but loathes the people in it.

Perhaps I should run for Ontario Senator just to piss him off.''''''''for thos MSM, make sure you get the context right, eh?

Leadership Candidate, how easy can it be? Probaly throw my hat into the ring.

by: majere

Fri Night, 10 Feb evening till well past the witching hour I am sure.

First, buy Lib memebership......easy enough done.

Second, read the goddo-dam Lib Procedures.

Third, run a non-account, non-fundng race.  This keeps it as simple as possible, even possible for the ordinary bloke or blarney.  Cost Zero.

Fourth, gather signutres reguired.  This is so painlessly easy in ones Electorl Riding.  Vistit a few appartments.  Remember siginiatures are not vouches for votes.  The signatures just acknowledge that you could and did talk to them.  Case closed.  Can be done in 2 to 4 hours.  Cost time only.

Fith, no to check Lib Policies on Leadership  to see if I qualify as part of the club by having to have so and so and what not..........checking.......working....still checking..... back later .......still checking.  Can't find nothing, so I am in the clear so far.

Sixth, throw Hat into Party.  Media through my Don or Duff Man.  They will think I am crazy anyway.   Who cares about democracy anyway, huh?  Cannot have 15 odd million people throwing their hat into the ring and report on every one.

Seventh.  Required Parrty Voters from coast to coast to cosat   Easy, Poach them from other candidates through an engineered set of stages leading to a Policy implicatin  Do not each Lib Leader Candidate get a voters list?  Which leads me to number Eight.

Eight.  Contact each one and have each supporter set up a "free" Blog advertising the advantages of moi as the Lib Leader.

So there you have a cost accountant free Lib Party Leader Run.  Oh, yea, travel to whateven Convention Site and stay somewhere for notheing and watch the results unfold.

Missing anything?

more later as I determine my engineered steps for implimented policies versus just hot air empty "vision" talk.

more later....

With a Writers Block, all one has to say is Stephen Harper ............

by: majere

Thurs 9 Feb, Survivor Time.

Stephen Harper has learned well from the Liberal Party in that he "ran" on his Policy Wonkie-ness to unsurp the Libs shotgun scattered emptiy lie-ing promises.

Once won, Stephen Harper learned the word "compartmentalization" of unpopular policies that contradicts his own Parties Promises.  He learned from watching the Libs that unpopular decisions only last approximately 2 weeks in electorates minds.  The Main Stream Media always has durig those two weeks something else more sexy to report on, therefore saving face of Stephen Harper.

Stephen Harpers' tough policy of silence, or towing the Party Line regardless of the Medias' question makes for interesting soundbites in that they politician answereing does not answere but gives a canned Policy Caucus phrase.

Prediction.  This will eventually huant him as His (Stephen Harpers' Contradictions) will add up and keep adding up until next election.

Wellcome to Leadership Stehpen Harper.  A CEO must be mult-faceted and be proven credable, you sir have not.

John Turmel, Marc Emery the Prince of Rot Stephen Harper and the alcohol generation

by: majere

6 Feb early morning just after the witching hour...
This guy JCT puts the Alcohol Generation into perspective with the newer Cannabis Herbal Generation.

Even Stephen Harper touted as the younger political generation stated he wanted his kids to drink beer which destroys brain cells versus the odd cannabis tea which creates new White Matter Brain Cells while protecting the Gray Matter Brain Cells.

Quote>
>Sask: Concert staff ignored pot smokers Cannabis
>Date: Thu Feb 02 2006
>Casey Blais
>The Saskatoon StarPhoenix

Last week's Nickelback concert at Credit Union Centre was
supposed to be fun for Dayle Ellis, but it didn't turn out
that way. Ellis said she left well before the show ended,
appalled by the number of people smoking marijuana around
her, her young daughter and nieces, and the absence of any
response from security officials at the venue.

JCT: She didn't mention whether any of the smokers were
unruly like drunks security have to eject at the concerts of
old.
Ellis, her nine-year-old daughter and two nieces, aged eight
and 10, are all big fans of Nickelback, and Ellis thought it
would be fun to take the kids to the Jan. 26 show. "I was
naive. I've had people say to me, 'You should have done some
research.' I never did," Ellis said. "Now that I know, it
was irresponsible of me, but prior to (the concert) I was
unaware and naive. I'm terribly upset with myself that I put
my kids in this position."

JCT: Ask her how many fights took place at the concerts of
her youth where the intoxication of choice was booze. Then
ask if she really prefers exposing her kids to the alcohol
generation rather than the quiet smoking generation.

Ellis said she was forced to leave her seat, children in
tow, as a man sitting near her lit up, even after she
announced marijuana and children do not mix.

JCT: I bet it made lighting up all the more enjoyable
knowing he was giving the good example to kids from the
alcoholic generation. I get the same kind of reaction when I
promote pot politically to kids too, as if it's some
terrible thing that they have to be shielded from.

"It doesn't make sense to me how ignorant we as humans are,"
she said. "When he sees that there's three young girls
sitting there, why couldn't he have gone downstairs, gone
out to the smoking area and just smoked his joint there?"

JCT: Remember the days when they smoked tobacco at hockey
games?

Ellis tried finding different seats, but could not stay in
the upper level because the smell of marijuana was so
strong.

JCT: I guess this concert was for the herbal generation.

She then went to complain to security officials near the
exit about the drug use in the upper decks. Ellis said she
was told there was nothing they could do to control that
many people. She left at that point.

JCT: I guess she'd have preferred the captain of the guard
interrupt the concert to announce that those many people
smoking herb should cease and desist because it offended the
lady.

Scott Ford, the marketing and events co-ordinator for Credit
Union Centre, said the show, which drew close to 12,000
people, was well staffed with security personnel. "We had
enough staff to manage this crowd and manage it in a safe
and controlled fashion," Ford said. "If a customer goes to
our usher, which should have been the first line of
communication, we're going to notify our security people and
they are going to deal with the situation." He said there
were 40 security personnel at the venue, and 36 ushers who
look after each particular section. There were also 54 event
staff in T-shirts, along with supervisors, door staff, event
attendants and first aid personnel. A police presence was
also in the building during the show.
"When you have 12,000 people in the building, you're going
to have a few that are going to try to break the policy,"
Ford said. "Do we catch all of them? No. Are we trying to
catch them? Yes we are." Ford said 16 people were ejected
during the show. Two of those ejections were related to
smoking violations.

JCT: And the other 14 were for her generation's addiction,
I'd bet. That's the good thing about marijuana, it's not
physically addictive. If you don't have it, you don't crave
it or suffer withdrawal. Much like chocolate ice cream, it's
lovely if you've got it but you can do without if you don't.

"The type of music determines the crowd profile coming to
the show and I think in her case, she (Ellis) felt that this
show was going to be an easy rock show and it wasn't," Ford
said. "Nickelback is classified as a heavy rock band, and
the music does have a bit of an edge to it, and some of the
fans are expecting that edge."

Marc Scott Emery
The Prince of Pot

JCT: Prince of Rot, for those who know him better.

POR: My letter to the editor:

I find it fascinating a mother would be so self-centered
that she would take her nine year old child and 8 and 10
year old nieces to a Nickleback concert rather than get a
baby sitter. Chad Kroeger of Nickelback talks about his love
of beer and pot on stage. Last Nickleback concert I was at,
Chad Kroeger (the band leader) threw cups of beer into the
audience and told everyone to light up.
If the three children in Ms. Ellis' charge - aged 8 to 10 -
are fans of ear splitting rock by musicians who drink
heavily and smoke pot, then I don't think the pot revellers
beside them in the concert hall would be that big a deal.
Since when do concert standards for loud, heavy rock get
determined by the presence of an eight year old? Thats
ridiculous, and Dayle Ellis is insulting all the adults who
paid good money to have a good time. If you can't handle the
scene, Ms. Ellis, buy yourself a CD and rock out your way --
at home. Your children were nonetheless probably having a
good time - until Uncool Mom over-reacted and freaked out
over nothing.
As a person with first hand experience about how over-
reactive Saskatchewan can be, I say chill out over there in
Regina.
Marc Emery
Editor  Cannabis Culture Magazine  604-689-0590
Three Months For One Joint in Saskatchewan

JCT: After jumping out of a crowd to confess to passing out
the joints and then pleading guilty at his trial! Poor guy!

POR: Saskatoon Correctional Class of 2004

JCT: Says it all. While my guerrilla warriors exert
maximum attrition all fighting their way to the top, Marc
The Narc Emery bowed down in surrender and defeat. Of
course, that's his function as a narc mole so they can say:
if Marc Emery is convicted, the law must still be alive!

I keep hearing reports of losses by Emery's Cannabis Culture
Crowd. One loses here, another extradited there, another
busted here, another jailed there, with always the same song
and dance: the need to raise funds to pay lawyers to fight
for our side! The attrition of resources on their side. And
the lawyers picked are the guys who keep losing since no
matter how many cases Alan Young loses, Narc Emery and the
mainstream media both keep lauding him as Canada's legal
medpot champion. People have to ask: how can the law be dead
with so many savvy pro-medpot activists biting the dust?
That's the role of moles. Keep our side losing, or perceived
losing.

Only people who dig for their news know of the many wins of
The Medpot Engineer's guerrilla law army and the inroads
we've won against prohibition. Our winning more than 4000
off the hook compared to Narc Emery's team always posting
losses. And with more and more wins coming up for our side.
Certainly there's nothing but more losers coming out of Narc
Emery's Cannabis Culture Crowd.

Alison Myrden, Marc Emery.

by: majere

5 Feb, Super Bowl Sunday.

Got a Guestbook comment from Alison Myrden.

I have to assume she did not like my analysis of her and Marc Emerys' actions.

I ran a Google on each of their names and they did not come up in the first 10 pages in that they were not linked to my blog.

Perhaps she Googled her name and patiently went through each page until she came across my blog..........bored?

Since she brought up her life I would like to comment on her LEAP (law enforcement against prohibition) affiliation/spokesperson.

First of all, associating cannabis with "laboratory chemical drugs" is a losing proposition.  Cops that want all drugs legal.  We know that will never happen.  Now we know there is a chance of cannabis becoming legal as it is a benign herb versus a lab produced drug.

Alison is backing a losing proposition.  Why I ask myself?  First of all, her backing Marc the Narc Emery who is going downhill of his own making no longer puts her in any spotlight.  Second, her NDP candidate run, well, the NDP just don't count.  Third, LEAP allows her to speak about legalizing Meth and Crack to get Cannabis Legalized.

Sounds absurd to me.  Lets get Crack and Meth legalized to get Cannabis legalized.

Oh wait, I remember Alison saying before something along the lines of lets get cannabis regulated for sick people.  I then have heard her support regulating Cannabis for non-sick people as well.  Now its "Against Prohibition for all Drugs".

I guess Alison just wants to somehow stay in the spotlight, jumping around which ever way the wind blows.

How about Krieger and Parker, Alison?  Ever speak truthfully on these two cases?  No you have not.

I have followed Marcs' case, Malmos' et al cases, and the many others.

The only cases that are making progress is Parkers' latest, Noreen Evers', Turmels' and a family from Hamilton.  There are others I am sorry I have forgotten.  I have not heard you speak of these.

Your friend Alan Young has been proven by his own writing to be against certain people fighting for full legalization, against all legal ethics, he states that it is too complicated for ordinary people to understand and only super intelligent people like him know and understand the various legal depths (picture me playing puke on the socio-path).  Of course he wants lots of money to review and fight these so called new angles when one with simple High School can understand.........courts can't make laws.  Its funny how Alan Young told a Judge that She can create a law that was null and void as if it never existed, to charge a person, ruin their lives.  Almost every person in High School knows that only Parliament can create/modify laws and that Courts can only strike down laws.

I take it Alison that you finally realized what a liar he was/is and left his cheerleading squad for another loser, LEAPS?

Thats right, just to re-iterate, lets get Crack and Meth legalized so we can get Cannabis legalized.

I am not interfering with your life, I am just pointing out your public life.

cheers :) majere

marc emerys' self destruction is of his own legal ignorance accepting an ingnorant lawyers advice, buyer beware comes to mind

marc the narc emery pleading guilty instead of fighting for the legalization is in previous posts in this blog...........

One of Stephen Harper s' hidden dilemas

by: majere

Sat evening, 4 Feb.

What happens every third generation without fail throughout history?

How has the "made easier to get credit" stretch out the third generations happenings?

How much time is left before the bubble bursts?

No economist can stop it.

Yup, the next depression.

Harper might find himself in the middle of a massive downturn in the economy while he is the Prime Minister.

Harper has to somehow prolong the credit bubble until the Libs get back into power so they can be blamed for it.

The Libs who know better, are hoping the credit bubble pops while the Cons are in Power.

The only cure to a depression is no debt, whether Federal, Provincial, Municapal or Personal.

Creditor Nations such as Norway can ride out a Depression virtually unscathed.  Us here in North America will be hit extremely hard.

History has proven since recorded time.

The Yankees have already passed a Bill stating that they can confiscate gold from peoples' Safety Deposit Boxes in Banks.  I am sure they will re-imburse you in severely devalued yankee dollars (worthless).

Harpers' hidden dillema, but as an economist he is confident he can control the downswing and then bring the economy back into an upswing.

No he can't.

the ndp would really screw it up so they don't count

I can hardly wait to run for an Ontario Senate Seat, yeah......but

by: majere

3 Feb afternoon waiting for Duff Man and my duh Don to start their Political shows.

You know the present government will put so many restrictions on the running that it will limit the running to a few select people.  Time will tell if the average pay-cheque to pay-cheque person can run.

After all, Stevie and his Harpies have stated, "only qualified people".

I doubt it.

I might try anyway.

With what I have written below, Roger M. Roeder Kitchener Center Riding for Liberal Leadership?

by: majere

Fri Feb 03, afternoon delightfull muse.

Yup, Roger for Liberal Leadership.   At total outsider with and engineered version for Canada.

Can't beat that, huh?  Not Brison or Belinda.

No, "I think", or, "I feel".  Just what is being done because I have already started by delegating, not wasting time talking trying to sound good.

Oh well, odds are zero unless I can get a Wealthy White Knight Philanthopist interested in Canada.

I can diss-spell every cannabis fallacy known to the unknown as facts.  Exept of course tthose who wish to remain ignorant.  I know every study ever done and every fallacy used by John Walters the lie-ing fear monger himself.

Economics, I can go toe to toe with Harper, Austrian school of economics rules.  A depression every 3 generations, extended somewhat this time due to an ease in credit authourization.  If you can't understand that I can easily explain in laymans terms at a gh School level.  I beleive all h School grads should be able to understand......they are our future doctors and engineers.

From left to right the Liberals can make a very quick come-back delegating the Cons to Opposition next election.

Who is the White Knight willing to take a chance on a Fiscal Conservative with Liberal Freedoms.

Business taxes that of Ireland, a four year delay from implimentation as businesses around the world look to Canada versus Ireland.

A world class rail/highway system crossing Canada with an additional emphasis on direct routes to major distribution centers in the States and south to the distant Americas'.

Costing.  Arts and all ;Grants gone for the sake of Canada.  There is a downturn coming eventually as history has proven every 60 yrs or 3 generations.  Debt both personally and in Country must be wiped out to begin again, as history has taught.

I would hold these veiws whether Con or NDP

Feb 2, 2006 at 09:08 o\clock

No Lib leaders, no confidence, actually none can come up with a game plan.

by: majere

Wed Feb 1, Weeds was good this week,

a fragmented muse in process......ongoing updates as contemplated or just dreamed up :)

I seen a commercial on TV for the Next Prime Minister and they show a blurb about their "Vision".  Well I don't give a shit about "visions".  I don't give a shit about what they "think should be done", or what they "feel should be done".  I want what is required to be done as quickly as possible.......plain and simple.  News flash, everyone already knows what the problems are.  Lets just get the engineered building actually done.

A front runner for the Fibs says no thanks to the 8 to 10 years it would take to become viable as a Political Party Force.

The person is obviously delphi - ing the Party faithfull that it is going to be a monumental task.  The people stating and believing in this have no vision with no none of the underlying engineered steps required to do otherwise.  In roth trailer park trash speak words, they are not so smart.

I say it isn't.

A leader by the Fall of 2006.

A moderate Liberal Policy Platform with each Policy having fully detailed steps for achievment.  This can be worked on individualy and collectively, correlated early in 2007 for an election in the summer of 2007.

Of course the detailed steps of each Policy must be fully substantiated and fully engineered as to all the specifications involved for implimentation.  No hot air or double-speak allowed.  In other words, such and such a person in charge of such department will have the following steps completed by these dates for each step.  Actual progress with dates with the specified person accountable.  If dates are not met, the accountable person is screwed over.

A very simple example.  A Prime Minister promises 900 more RCMP officers.  Good idea.  Now, who is responsible for the hiring? Lets have the name of the person delegated.  Next, lets have an absolute deadline, say 24 months from now.  Now appoint the Auditor General to ensure it is complete at the end of the 24 months.  Next, in public press releases quarterly release the stages that have already been complete during the 24 month period.  Now if the delegated person does ensure the Prime Ministers Policy promise is not kept........fire him.  Its that simple.  The person turned out to be incompetent and the Prime Minister screwed up in appointing that person in the first place.

Now the accountability kicker.  Have the PM do this for each promised Policy.  The PM being soley responsible for the delegation therefore the results.  The PM and his Party then can wear it next election with the voters.

Also as per the Cons last election win strategy the Fibs must concentrate only on at least 7 main policies that will affect peoples' lives.

So now there is the true accountability issue solved with dire results for those who fail to achieve their Policy Tasks.

The voters would love it.  It would only take a quick vote at a Party Convention to impliment this new Operating Procedure.

So that takes care of the Fiberal accountability problem from the PM down to the Committee MP's.

Financially, all the above must be costed out on an ongoing basis and released during the quarterly Policy Task updates.  This ensures all Financial funding promises are being kept..........easy isn't it.

to be contd, the 7 or so make or break Fib Policies that can easily be implimented by the next election..............................to be contd

Number One.  Lets take votes away from the NDP as the Fibs are somewhat centre left at times, contrary to what the Chretian has stated in the past (centerist).  Easy, promise and impliment in First Budget raising the Pers Tax exemption to 10,000 dollars even.  This coupled with the non-working Spousal Allownce exemption of 8,000 dollars.  This would make it much easier on the service working industrial poor.  Why?  The economy is slowly declining and shall decline during the Con Miniority ruling.  Yes it will, and the longer they stay in power as a miniority the more they are going to wear the slowly declining economy.  This must be accurately costed out in hard math, not fuzzy logic with variables.   My appologies here as I do study economic trends that history has taught.

So we now have back the NDP voters.  There is an extra 10 seats estimated pushing Jackie L back to about 19 not counting seats.

Number Two.  With the history of the Fibs amassing surpluses to buy votes at later dates as and when required as a rainy day fund can no longer be considered of course.  With that being said, Provincial Transfer Payments must be increased 10 percent minimum with a simplified transfer algebra-ic line that any High School graduate can understand.  This ensures an increase in Provincial funding to get possible Premiers on side with a special emphasis on the Quebec Premier and their peoples.  Once again fully costed out in cash, not transfer credits submitted in the first Budget.  Emphasis must be placed on the supporting of ALL Canadians by increasing money to the Provinces to be spent of course on all voters.

Number Three.  Health Care.  This one is easy.  Within the first year of the mandate, all Canadian Embassies will assess the Medical School Programs in their respective Countries and report back on as to the exact Canadian upgrades requried.  This instead of treating all forign trained doctors as substandard to the same level.  This will ensure quicker Canadian qualifications.  Funding for the research is costed in the First Budget as all it would take is representatives of Medical Schools one year to go over the forign coriculums and determine Country Med School specifics.  No just sitting around talking, just performing the actual research 8 to 10 hours per day 6 days per week.  Only take a year and voila., Canadian Medical Accredation streamlined.  Accrediting Agencies then will not have to waste every forign Doctors time with waiting for Residency openings when none are proven required.  How about a 6 month mentor-ship for those just short?

So far for the first three there is going to be a big hit on expendatures with an apparent urgency in transferring of people to Embassies on short notice, the increase in transfer payments can be written up in a matter of several months, the Tax changes can be written and amended in a matter of days.  With the proper competent people appointed who actually work instead of talking, its easy.  Grants will be non-existant to help pay, "arts programs" history to help pay, you get the idea.

Number Four.  The Fibs admitting that the long gun registry is a big mistake and cancells it completely.  Publicly state that those people working for the Registry are laid off and the infrastructure is sold or ceased in lease payments.  Its ok to say your sorry when you make a mistake.  Also admit that hand guns are already illegal and the problem is smuggling.  Sincerity proven must begin somewhere eh?  That we will carry on with the Cons Border guns and increases.

Number Five.  To temporarily relieve the shortage of Doctors/ in general, in theory, double overtime pay and funding for operating rooms and procedures.  This in theory can be stated to make it worthwhile to use those empty operating rooms at night time, those CT scanners at night time, Chemotherapy infusion sessions at nighttime etc.  Stress this until Number Three above kicks in within 3 years (one year research and writing, two years of medical immigration)  I see in hospitals no notices for nurses positions even though governments are stating more funding.  I know nurses who are unemployed just sitting at home waiting for openings......true in Niagara Falls - underserviced, and Kitchener, considered under-serviced.

Number Six.  This one I find rather novel.  The overview is using military personell rotated through Border Crossings taught, then used for searching vehicles.  A secondary benefit would be that the training gives confidence and teaches the techniques used overseas on UN deployments.  Taken one step further, patroling of and for example the BC Border of rough terrain day and night.  The Navy begins patroling interdiction looking for ship smuggling and practices the art of "ship bording parties".  Of course, many of our committments overseas must be curtailed to accomodate a "Secure Canada First Policy".

Number Seven.  Increase CPP and CPP disability by 10 percent immediately with no claw backs.  This gets the retirees on side.

Last but not least Number Eight.  Personal Soverign Rights.  Yup.  Land ownership has to be a Right that can only be removed by a Jury of Ones Peers.  No more Property Taxes.  Municapalities must raise their taxes not based on Leasing Land to people to live on.  Of course Municipal by-laws apply as far as hazard materials to grounds apply.  Zoning cannot be change to force one to move unless a Jury of Ones Peers decides and as to what the compensation is, complete moving costs, complete market value, sentimental value, etc.  This Land Right helps limit government intrusion into ones security and must be stressed that way.  In this sense cannabis becomes legal and is taxed on anyone who sells.  Whether it is Ma and Pa or a Family Farmer(er).  Cannabis prices plummet to the level where it is no longer a viable commodity for the criminal element.  Police services freed up tremendously to go after the Crack and Meth head (labs), Cannabis has to be fully legal for this to happen.  Age restriction and impaired driving only applies.  American tourists to our friendly Canadian Coffee shops al la Netherlands becomes a source of taxes and forign monies.  Of course the extra Canadian Border Guards might help screen for smuggling but don't forget, ITS THE AMERICAN BORDER GUARDS THEY GET PAST SO ITS NOT CANADAS' FAULT.  But we can help screen etc.

Ok, all this costs alot.  It covers the full spectrum from Lefties to Righties.

All this can be done and put to Policy Paper in less than 2 years just in time for the next election.  Of course this would give the Fiberals a very slim majority, but a majority non-the-less.

All these must be applied fully.  NOT just some or part of some, or some with restrictions.

cheers :) majere

Leave it up to good young Monte to ply his play on words for slight misdirection towards a readers' subconscience.

A quote from his blog

quote>

It is important too that I actually own this land. Sure parks are great. We all support parks. But when I go to a park I just become even more determined to have my own private park where I can walk the dog in my pyjamas if I choose to (no I don't mean the dog is walking inside of my pyjamas).

I just know that if I owned that wild swale it would only be a matter of days before I could feed wolverines from my hand and befriend badgers and ride on the backs of wayward elk. When you have a swale anything is possible.

Ok, it sounds rather harmless on the outset.  Now I take special notice of where he states, "that I actually own this land", and "I just know that if I owned that wild swale", that he is re-inforcing the Con Policy of Land Ownership.

Problem in truth here.  You can't own land, only Lease it in the form of Property Taxes from the government.

I have to call this another one of Montes' clever wording to the ignorant.  Lets re-inforce land ownership even though he knows its not true land ownership per se.  At least he makes it sound so, so cleverly..........not.

He must be preaching to his Monte Crew and the few gullible low IQ'd visistors that by chance visit his blog.

Good one Monte, delving into technical truth/lies re-inforcing whatever is the mainstream misconception in ones sub-conscience.

Property Rights, I want land ownership, not Land Lease.  Have the Municipalities raise their tax money based on something other than land.  It will only be when the government has no means of removing one from ones land unless by a Jury of Ones Peers that we will truly be free with land ownership.

the fibs are not saying anything and the ndp don't count

Kate decides to split non conforming electorate and reasons with association

by: majere

Tues 31 Jan,  the witching hour..... fragmented muse

Kate over at Small Dead Animals is associating Rural land/house ownership with Cons and Urban appartment dwellers as Lib/NDP/Green voters.

Association does not denote causation.

Rural Urban, Us and Them.  Your with us, or against us.  Your like us, or your not.  People over there do not think like all of us over here.

Some people over at SDA believe that taking care of an invested home and land somehow qualifies one to be more in tune to politics that makes one see the light in the Conservative Party versus all others.

Somehow to thee, leasing land from the government in the form of property taxes with a mortgaged house on it does not denote a more intricate understanding of politics.  Owning rural land is a myth.  Try not paying your government lease payment and you will of course be removed from your homestead.  Perhaps one acquires the wisdom of Conservative based politics through osmosis while one attends to the needs of their leased land.  After all, the Cons talk alot about the grass-roots.  Appartment dwellers according to SDA do not benefit from this as I can only speculate.  I spend most of my life 5 stories up above the land, does this mean that I am so far removed from the Cons that I would never vote Con ...... nope.  I have voted Con in the past.

Kate says that houseing is affordable in rural areas.  Yup, way out rural in Northern Ontario far from doctors, specialists, grocery stores, dentists, banks, post offices, etc.  Ya have to be healthy with quite a reliable car with a huge gas budget to live Rural where it can be afforded in Ontario, very Northern Ontario that is.

I could have easily afforded a house when my wife and I were living in MooseJaw.  A nice 2 bedroom bungalow on a smallish lot for 40,000 dollars and paid cash.  We said forget that and moved to an appartment in Niagara Falls instead.  The fireworks every Friday night at 10pm as well as holidays.  Concerts in the Park.  New Years.  The festival of Lights.  Or just plain walking around the tourist district eating ice cream watching all the tourists and of course the Falls.  The vast Public Gardens with its incredable abundance of vegatation and watching the young ones getting married or their pictures taken there.  Oh yea, the same 2 bedroom bungalow in Niagara Falls is three times the amount than in MooseJaw.  Forget that.

After almost 5 years in the Falls we moved to Kitchener where the same house sold for 4 times as much.  Forget that.  A 2 bedroom appartment with utilities included in the rent is far less than a mortgage, utilities, upkeep, property taxes, labour for upkeep.  The library 200 meters away, the outdoor skating rink in front of City Hall, the outdoor chess tables downtown, the busker festival, and the best part - better and more varied produce at the many different grocery stores.  (even have one right across the road kitty-corner)  Needless to say, I only use a tank of gas per month :)

Hmmmmm, mortgage broke and can't afford nothing - to vote Con.  Or, appartment dweller and can afford what I want and travel a little for the most part - and vote Fiberal.

Kate and her commentors do not speak for me, nor can she/they assume my vote intentions just based on where I live and what I live in.

I have lived in appartments and houses from coast to coast to coast  (6 months in Alert on the Arctic ocean coast 454 miles from the North Pole for six months) and Kate and her commentors could never speak for me or my Urban friends.

Anyway, I would rather work on something constructive than mow lawn, home maintenance, outdoor gardening, snow shovelling, paying of utility bills, wondering if heating bills are going to go ballistic and how bad the municipality is going to screw me over this year for my land lease property tax.  blahh.  Like I said, I would rather use my time a little more constructively than perform brain dead meanial house-ownership tasks.  I will leave the, "keeping up with the Joneses" to someone else".  :)

Perhaps Kate and her commentators just think that us Urban appartment dwellers just work, and when not working just sit in front of a TV.  I don't know, maybe they think we should be out shovelling snow or mowing lawn like they do.

The last para reminds me of the way it use to be Russia between neighbours.  Two neighbours, each have a cow.  One day, one of the neighbours gets another cow.  The neighbour that only has just the one cow calls in the police and demand that they remove one of the neighbours cows.  The moral.  All one had to do was work a little more and get the extra cow, but nooooooo, he had to have the extra neighbours cow removed to even the score.  Myself, I would rather work on something based in wisdom than shovel snow, and be mortgage broke.

a thousand different heads, a thousand different ways and means

cheers :) majere
