Dion, win a majority and you will find out who your true friends are.

by: majere

Mood: Ten things going at once

Ok Dion, win a majority and it will shut up the adversaries both with-in and outside.

You will also find out who your true friends are (ME, a person with a disability with no hidden agenda)

Follow my advice quickly, how often can I say it.

Attack the Cons for not allowing 50/50 income splitting for disabled and over 65 pensioners.

Attack and ask why any person med released from the military does  get their entire Military Disability Pension, CPP Disability and Long Term Disability taxed?  Why is Harper so against those who have served whether in peace time or in non-declared wars?

Attack Harper, Attack Harper.

cheers:) majere

PS:  Have to take the wife into the Falls for her monthly doc appointment, maybe write more originality as in actuall steps tonight.

Liberals in Quebec taking a beating but still organized.

by: majere

Mood: Trying to get into my Quebec Hat
Listening to: Still waiting for the Duff Man

Ok, Quebec, seasonal forrestry, dairy, manufacturing, credable Universities.

So why the change away from the Libs?

Quebec does not like Dion due to his writings on keeping Quebec in Canada, seen as a staunch Federalist with Quebec just another Province to cause trouble for the Feds.

So now what?

Something differing from what I have written below would be to have Quebec declared as fully Francophone, as in a French only Province.  Have this Liberal Doctrine entrenched.  The Quebec people will understand, as they are not stupid, that if they venture into business and travel outside of Quebec its English.  But they will fully understand that!!!!!!!!!!!

Entrench in the Liberal Doctrine that Quebec is one of the founding fathers of Canada.

Semi - annual PM and Premiers meetings to discuss finances and Federal funding.  This works well when the Premiers show up with their respective Projects and the Feds show up with the money.  All then prioritize the Projects and start funding from the top.

Combine this with the tax splitting and cuts and you have Quebec.

The secret of course is to start announcing this NOW!!!!!!!!  OR Harper is going to keep on making the Libs look like idiots and the Libs will not make any headway in areas such as Quebec.

cheers :) majere

Dions' too far behind the times and Iggy/Rae are no better.

by: majere

Mood: Mellow
Listening to: News awaiting the Duff Man

I heard that Dion has teamed up with Bob Rae to write whatever.  My God, Ontario despises Bob Rae, Canada despises the American implant named Iggy.  Dion being a Canadian Proffessor in his previous life was allowed to be 5 years behind "advancements" in his field of teaching.  Yes Universities in Canada are allowed to teach 5 years behind the times.  No wonder Dion is a little slow with the example of the Mulroney Air Bus Affair - its old news.

Can't you come up with asking Harper about Income splitting between disabled spouses and get the disabled voters holding rallies condemning Harper.

How about getting onto Harper about those old timers over 65, income splitting to help the aged.   Load up Parliament Hill.

How about getting on Harpers' case about making ALL (CPP Disability, Military Med Pension and SISIP Long Term Disability which ends at 65!!!!!!!!! as if you miracalously became healthy) Military Disability Payments tax free, not just the VAC pension tax free which very few qualify for.

I guess with Harper being a moderate psychopath, he has no empathy or policy to help the infirm and aged.

Harper - an ice cold thug.

Dion, I have given you the info to get a majority on this blog.  You are intelligent enough to understand it quite easily.

Do it.  No Fear.

cheers :) majere

PS:  follow the below, win a majority, what are you waiting for Quebec Numbers to rise?  I will discuss that again above.

Dion gives Harper nuclear capability with a Provincial mistake.

by: majere

Mood: peeved and legally sedated thank god

Dion just admitted he will look at the GST and re-consider it.  The idiot cannot remember back several months to the Ontario Provincial Election where the Cons said they will use Public Money to fund Religous Based Schools. Guess what happened there?  People did not want their money taken away from one area to create another cash sinkhole.

Well Dion is telling people that we will raise a tax (regardless of whatever is lowered), and guess what?  All people will remember is the Tax Increase.

C'mon get your collective shit together -- yes I am peeved at Dion even mentioning the GST other than that it only helps the wealthy.

Geez, I finally got him to stop mentioning Kyoto - maybe he read how I have countered it to help the LIbs.

On another note; I asked if St Cats had a Candidate already and I was notified they did.  Bummer.  They did not put it on their Web Page, so come on get your web page updated.

How about Niagara Falls?  All the Retired people there where it would be easy to sell the retired or disable income splitting.  Thats for disabled under 65 with a spouse healthy or not, and retired over 65 as CPP Disability changes over to CPP Retirement at 65.

C'mon Libs, follow my advice and you will win a goddam majority, but you cannot have any half measures - got it!!!!!!!

cheers :) majere

How easy it would be to knock on doors selling the points I have listed.

by: majere

Yes how easy it would be to knock on doors and sell what I have written to the Liberal Party about.  Just think, its a product that will sell itself, just get a few commercials out and a few Press Galley presentations.

Put what I have written Budget wise into the first budget, not the first mandate but tell people it will all be in the first budget.  The remainder of the mandate will be trying to maintain good government with the remaining peoples' monies.

Again, toooo easy.

cheers :) majere

PS;  for some reason, the Libs just are not responding.

PPS;  to gain another up to 18.1 percent of the voters is to state "anyone who bakes with herbs throw a vote our way.  Harper has isolated and has written off the 18.1 percent.

I sent the below to the Libs AGAIN, and I must say I told you so lol.

by: majere

I sent the following to Karen Redman, McCallum and Iggy.

Hello all Roger M Roeder here again.
First I told you the Liberals have approx 4 days to get out the following, of course on the 4th day Flaherty came out with a Press Conference hint of tax amendments.  I even put as my last line to "read between the lines" ;

How the Liberals can neutralize the NDP, Greens and take seats.

by: majere

Once again it comes down to Policy somewhat Liberal.

As I have previously stated, but will in more detail, have a Liberal member accredit credible Solar Hot Water Heater reto-fit installers.   This should only take a month into a Mandate.

Committ 3 billion over the 4 year Mandate to retro-fit 1 in 7 houses with no cost to homeowner.  Hence the 3 billion.  Remember that this will allow industry breathing room, ie Alberta Tar Sands etc.  The Electrical Grid usage will drop, those using natural gas will drop, and the homowners will have more money in their pocket......thats a good thing.  Calculate how close that comes to Kyoto targets by some young math intern.  Notify the people of Canada that the threat of Brown Outs should be dramitically dimished.  This will neutralize the Greens and some some votes towards the Liberals, and yes, it will cost the 3 billion over the 4 yr mandate.

Next the NDP, toooooooo easy.

The Liberals sometimes have to move to the Left to attack the Right - understood?

For each year in a 4 year mandate lower the lowest tier on Income Tax .75 percent per yr for a total of 3 percent reduction over the 4 year mandate.  Cost - 3 billion approx ?  get your math intern.

Next - to get the senior vote, yes income split 50/50 as one spouse has worked and contributed while at times the other has not.  Cost - 2 billion.

YOU HAVE JUST GOT THE SENIOR VOTE, THE GREEN VOTE, THE MIDDLE CLASS HOUSEING VOTE AND MY PREVIOUS WRITING YOU GOT THE QUEBEC VOTE.

NOW JUST PUT IT INTO PRACTICE AS TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Concentrate on these and announce them very quickly in the Press Galley, my guess this has to be within 4 working days.  So lots of overtime all the way around.

cheers with more of course to follow :) majere

PS:  This cannot wait until election time for a platform as you the Liberal Party need to make some major waves.

read between the lines if you cannot understand.

NEXT TO WIN OVER PREMIERS AND QUEBEC I WROTE:

Only one way for the Liberals to win over Quebec Hearts.

by: majere

Usually the easiest answere is the best solution to a complicated problem, so the saying goes.

Here it goes:

Have the Liberal Party Formally announce in the Press Galley that the Liberal Party fully recognizes that Canada was founded by two distinct peoples, Anglos and Francos.  That our Country has evolved to one of the best in world because of our diversity of opinions and compromises.

Therefore, we the Liberal Party of Canada will respect Quebec to manage Federal Funding in Provincial Jurisdictions.

With present and previous Federal governments throwing money into Provincial Jurisdictions, especially prior to elections - which does not fool anybody, we will transfer the funds so long as they are within the realms of Federal Standards where it is very close to the same regardless of which Province one moves to, or resides in.

The Federal Liberal spending within Provincial Jurisdiction outside Quebec will be co-managed between the Provincial Premiers Office and the Federal Liberals.  This will help offset costs to the Provinces by supplying our expertise where and when required.  We might have funds for twinning a highway where needed and we Liberals will rely on the Provinces to tell us where.

We will not DICTATE where and when.  It will be throughout our Mandate, not at the end to hopefully buy votes.

We will meet with the Premiers semi-annually to discuss Federal Projects in Provincial Jurisdictions to prevent the gross throwing of money prior to elections.

We Liberals believe that between the Liberal Party and the Premiers that we can maintain Canadas' prefered status in the world with a unified Federalism.

This is of course up to the People of Canada as always as they are always right.

Any questions?

Make sure Dion can answere and is prepared.

This will get the Liberal Party Quebec and of course one up the Cons.

THIS STRESSES SEMI-ANNUAL PREMIERS CONFERENCES WITH THE FEDS TO WORK OUT PROJECTS AND TO ENSURE BIPARTISAN BETWEEN THE FEDS AND PROVINCES, THE FEDS ARE NOT THE PROVINCES ENEMY.

cheers :) majere

roger m roeder kitchener

PS:  I told you so, I am always right when I write from a Liberal view.  Now you have to outdo Flaherty in cuts and income splitting.

PPS:  Flanagan (sp) is not as intelligent as the media makes believe as he has no EQ and no wisdom.

I asked the several Liberal Party Presidents about running.

by: majere   Keywords: Stephen, Harper, sucks, and, blows, hot, air

Mood: sick
Listening to: the Irish lose

Just venting.

Yes I know the Poll results but with what I have written I am confident.

I would not even need any money for signs or pamphlets, just door knocking.  A non-finance campaign if you would, within a Riding.  This with the Liberal Party in a financial shortfall makes sense to me anyway.

Have only heard that I cannot parachute into a non held Liberal Riding that has no organization  in place anyway......go figure.

Being disabled kind of gives a different perspective on life and politics in general.  Not in a Socialist NDP sort of way, but a stay the heck out of my life type of way since life is a little more complicated with meds and doctors appointments.  I don't need Harper sending Public Servants to my place, kicking me and my wife out and searching the premises everywhere just in case I am doing something illegal.  Yes Harper can kiss my lily wihite hairy butt.

I firmly believe that the Liberals will win a majority in the next election when the Budget is defeated.

Why?

The Liberals will cut more personall taxes than the Conservatives.

The Liberals will impliment a green "solar hot water heating system" for almost no cost to the homeowner therefore negating the Greens.

The Liberals will allow 50/50 income splitting for any person over 18 on disability with their spouse therefore lowering the tax burdon negating the NDP.

The Liberals will set up semi-annual meetings with Premiers to plan for Federal spending throughout the Mandate within the Provinces versus throwing surplus money around at the end of a mandate to purchance buy votes.  A strong Federal Provincial relationship showing incredable leadership.

I want to be a part of it.  But as a wise man once told me, "its not what you want, its what your going to get".

cheers :) majere

ps; where is Libby Davies for negating cannabis prohibition????????

Stephen Harper, the ignorant nieve idiot knows not of medical science

by: majere

Harpers' Law and Order Bill regarding 3 violent offences with then reverse onus is a cop-out to his religious voters.

Why?  Once again its very simple to those of us who know.

First, the Crown Prosecutor just have to have the subject take two tests, and they will tell all as to whether or not they are habitual.

One:  Minnesota Multphasic Personality Inventory, Version 2) is very involved and complicated, but it is the single most widely used personality test in the professional world.

Two:  Dr. Hare PCL-R scoring test.

Its so easy that Harper can't see beyond his religous zealous and see science for what it is.

These two tests can determine the odds of future criminal behaviour.

Like I said, toooooo easy.

Harpers' an ignorant nieve idiot.

Stephen Harper and his dictatorial crime Bill.

by: majere

This just like the last post.  Keep all 3 Opposition Parties attacking THE CRIME BILL from the front in the media and in Parliament.  Introduce Ammendments as desired even though Stephen states no amendments allowed or an election will be called.

Now, behind the scenes, get all 3 Opposition Leaders together by themselves.  Agree on the amendments.

Have all 3 Leaders go to the GG whom determines if there is an election, not Harper.

Explain the amendments and that the Opposition represents the majority of Canadians and to plse not allow Harper to drop the writ.

Explain that Canadians do not want an election as I am sure the GG would understand fully.  That with these amendments the Opposition still agrees that the Cons can keep governing but that the Oppositon is looking out for the majority of Canadians who at this time do not want an election.

If the GG goes along with this Harper will go ballistic and show his true colours as a control freak would.

Remember many thousands of years ago when martial arts developed - breaking an oppositions rythem meant victory.

Present now in intelligence - task ALL available resources.  In this case, the GG.

cheers and good luck :) majere

One possible strategy to force Stephen Harpers' Minority.

by: majere

Just a quick thought to force the moderately psychopathic Harper into a corner.

First, talk to the GG to get clarification of;  if every single Opposition Member votes on a Private Members Bill to remove the troops from Afghanistan due to the strategic incompetance (as I have explained several times below in my blog) can the GG ensure it is NOT a Confidence Vote but a Majority Vote in the Commons.

Ensure the GG is fully briefed on the strategic short-commings (again below) and that Canada is not ready for an election regardless of what Harper states regarding Confidence.

So, get all three Opposition Parties together.  The Bloc wants an immediate pull out, the NDP will go along, then its just up to your Liberals.

edit added;  of course all 3 Opposition Leaders must approach the GG at the same time.

cheers :) majere

An invasion of privacy

Simone Ponne/THE NEWS
Richard Pitt opens his front to allow in
members of the safety inspection team.

By Monisha Martins
Staff Reporter

May 26 2007

Pacing around his living room Wednesday, Richard Pitt can't believe the city's safety inspection team is late.

He points to an inspection notice delivered to his home on 119 B Avenue in Pitt Meadows.

The team was to arrive at 10:30 a.m. It is 45 minutes late.

When two police cars, a fire department pick-up and bylaws truck pulled up in front of the house to check for an illegal marijuana grow operation, Pitt was ready.

"It's an invasion of privacy," he said.

"It has taken two hours out of my day."

Pitt's home was flagged as a potential public safety hazard by the City of Pitt Meadows this week because of its high electricity consumption.

A computer specialist who started Canada's first commercial Internet Service Provider – Wimsey – he now dedicates his time to birds, mainly bald eagles and video camera feeds of their nests.

Last month's bill from B.C. Hydro showed that Pitt used 3,100 kilowatt hours of electricity. The month before he clocked 3,700 kWh after installing cameras in Esquimalt to spy on an osprey nest.

He's had a business licence from the City of Pitt Meadows for 14 years. He has about 10 computers in his home, with accompanying hard drives, monitors, servers and wires.

"They are comparing me to a typical suburbanite not someone whose business is computers," Pitt said.

He received a 24-hour notice of inspection from the city on Tuesday.

He asked the police officer and bylaw official to come inside that day and see the computers for themselves. They refused.

On Wednesday, the Pitt Meadows safety inspection team searched his home.

Pitt, his wife Shirley, a visitor and his son were told to wait outside while three armed police officers, a bylaw enforcement officer, an assistant fire chief and a building inspector checked for the unusual spike in electricity and for the tell-tale signs of a pot growing operation – faulty wiring and building code violations.

If the Pitts refused to let the team inside, they were warned B.C. Hydro could cut off their power.

"I was just not given an option," Pitt said.

No marijuana or deficiencies were found at Pitt's home.

But, Pitt said on blog.pacdat.net, the lights went out around Pitt Meadows an hour after the inspectors left.

According to a study released by the University College of the Fraser Valley in 2004, Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows are one of the fastest growing areas in B.C. for marijuana cultivation.

The report showed that the number of marijuana cases in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows since 1997 had risen 375 per cent, including 152 cases in 2003 – representing 3.4 per cent of all those in B.C. that year.

To stem the lucrative illegal trade, the City of Pitt Meadows began a pilot project to target marijuana grow operations through safety inspections six months ago.

Under the province's Safety Standards Amendment Act, which came into effect last June, B.C. Hydro can share domestic electrical consumption information with municipal safety authorities.

A residence has abnormal consumption if it uses more than 93 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity per day, or three-times the average. An average home uses 31 kWh a day.

Once the information is received, Pitt Meadows staff research the house, looking for inexplicable spikes in electricity and water use.

If the information gleaned points to a possible grow-op, a 24-hour notice of inspection is posted on the house.

RCMP officers accompany the team on all inspections and clear the house if a grow-op is found.

A no-occupancy notice is posted at the house if an electrical bypass, mould or furnace modifications are found. Homeowners bear the cost of the inspection which can total more than $3,000.

Leslie Elchuk, Pitt Meadows bylaw enforcement officer said Wednesday's search was to ensure public safety.

"We received data from B.C. Hydro that there was excessive hydro consumed at that house," she explained.

"We do a thorough work-up of every single property before we knock on the door and ask for an inspection."

Before an inspection, Elchuk researches the square footage of the home, what it looks like and if it has a business licence.

In Pitt's case, his licence was for a "business office," Elchuk said.

The inspection team also drives by the house and snaps photographs.

All the vehicles parked on the property are run through a database by police.

The City of Pitt Meadows has inspected 34 houses since it started the pilot project.

Of those, "deficiencies" like faulty wiring, plumbing and building alterations were found in 25.

Evidence of a marijuana grow operation was found in just one of the properties, Elchuk added.

"If there was something happening there and it's gone and things are all in place that's what we want," she said.

"It is really, really good. It is making a difference. We have a safer community."

In the same six month period, RCMP busted......???? marijuana grow operations in Pitt Meadows.

A report on the pilot safety inspection project to Pitt Meadows council is expected by June.

Elchuk said it will be up to council to decide if the safety inspection become a permanent bylaw tool.

Targeting marijuana grow ops through safety inspections was pioneered by the City of Surrey.

A 90-day pilot project in 2005 "rendered safe" and temporarily disrupted 118 marijuana grow operations in Surrey.

In that same 90-day period, the Surrey RCMP detachment took down a total of 75 grow operations.

According to the Surrey fire department, a house with a grow op is 24 times more likely than one without to go up in smoke.

Following Surrey's success, similar bylaws have sprung in Port Coquitlam, Coquitlam and Abbotsford.

The B.C. Civil Liberties Association, opposes such bylaws and the legislative scheme that brought in the partnership with B.C. Hydro.

"You shouldn't be doing through the back door what you can't do through the front door," said Micheal Vonn, policy director for the civil liberties association.

"This is clearly a means of circumventing the proper warrant procedure."

Instead of using safety inspections as a ruse to enter a home, Vonn suggests bylaw officials should telephone or send a letter to query the resident's unusual pattern of electricity consumption.

"Call me crazy, if you have a query, what is with the SWAT team at the door and a 24-hour notice?" Vonn said. "It completely undermines the notion that there is a benign regulatory purpose behind this. We have heard this argument in the war on drugs and the war on terror. If they say the word safety or security, you are just suppose to roll over and show your belly."

The civil liberties association has had several complaints about the Safety Standards Amendment Act and the inspection bylaws it has spawned.

"We are not ruling out a court challenge at all," Vonn said.

Stephen Harper the moderate psychopath.

by: majere

The Psychopathy of Stephen Harper.

Stephen Harper, a moderate intelligent psychopath (IQ approx 110 based on his writings).  This is in using the Dr. Hare PCL-R scoring.  Dr Hare is the foremost expert on psychopathy in the field.

In a factual sense one must observe the subject in question to identify key psychopathic traits, if in fact they do exist.

Now down to the guts of the matter.

 "Glib and superficial charm"

------ Remember when Harper first got on the scene and his smile was noted by me that only a slight curl of his lips ensued showing a canned smile.  A genuine smile uses more muscles right up to the eyes showing "crows feet".  Harper being the moderate psychopath learned to smile realistically even though it is not genuine.  It is just facial window dressing for the unknowing.  The superficial charm is a challenge for the psychopathic Harper in that he does not know how to act in large crowds, hence avoid, but managed to learn to show some superficial charm to colleagues that he likes and works with.  His superficial charm and glib-ness always points back to him (Harper) as to how does it benefit (Harper), control over people.  One of the earlier signs of his moderate psychopathy was his lack of physical contact with his children.  I remember "the handshake" with one of his very young sons.  Sociology teaches us that children need physical contact (hugs) for proper social/mental development.  Obviously Harper has very little sense of the feelings and development of another person.  It was only when the press pointed it out that Harper learned that he had to act superficially that he cared for his sons well being.  The key being he had to learn and then develop what to us would be natural.

"cunning and manipulativeness"

MP Bill Casey comes to mind.  An MP standing up for his Riding against Harpers' demands.  Harper decides to manipulate the remaining Caucus by kicking Bill Casey out of the Party.  Cunning in the sense that Harper intimidates the remainder to follow HIS demands.  Who does it benefit?  Harper, not Canadas' democratic values.  Harper of course does give in to Nova Scotia at a later date to manipulate the voters of Nova Scotia with funds.  Of course, with Bill Casey vindicated, Harper emphatically on the news states that in no way would Bill Casey be allowed back into the Party, even though Bill Casey was correct in standing up for his constituents.

The main stream media is one of Harpers' largest ongoing manipulations.  As a psychopath, Harper cannot deal with the lack of control of media questions.  So as a moderate psychopath he relishes the ongoing mind exercises of manipulation - boredom is a psychopaths doom as he does not have relationships like average people do, which keeps boredom to a minimum.  His slight of hand trial balloon to manipulate the media even further with HIS own tightly controlled media center fell apart and almost let himself slip as a moderate psychopath.  He learned a manipulative boundary.

Harper trying to manipulate the media showing dead soldiers coming home trying to enforce the media off the Base proper so they cannot be filmed even though the families wanted it to show Canadians that this is happening.

Creating the talking points for the President of Afghanistan.  The supporting documentation when asked for was mostly blacked out by the Conservatives.

 "lack of remorse or guilt"

Bill Casey correctly standing and vindicated is tossed out of the Party.  Harper appeared glee-full in stating that Bill Casey would never be allowed back into the Party and that the Con Party will run a Conservative Candidate against him.

Harpers' lack of remorse and guilt in the young dieing soldiers in an un-win-able war.  As I have stated on my blog there is only one way to win, and the Canadians with Allies are not taking historical lessons to win.  Hence, more dead bodies coming home.  No guilt in keeping soldiers there dieing.

No guilt or remorse for 14 yr old kids or brainwashed 15 yr old kids.  Harper just wants them to rot away.  Any kid brought up in a bad neighbourhood with a lower IQ and easily manipulated - Harper wants to take him away and put him in a Max Jail.  Harper has no guilt when it comes to child abuse.

 "shallow AFFECT(superficial emotional responsiveness)"

Going back to where the moderate psychopathic Harper had to actually learn how to smile - shallow emotionally.  Dead soldiers coming home - shallow emotionally.  The so called Eastern defeatism - shallow responsiveness.

 "callousness and lack of empathy"

The moderately psychopathic Harper has ZERO empathy for a brainwashed 15 yr old Canadian kid sitting in Gitmo.  Harper believes that the poor and disadvantaged have to pull themselves up and I say with what?  No empathy for the old, in-firmed as CPP and CPP Disability is appallingly below poverty level.  No empathy or lack of sleep from Harper.

Callously offering Nova Scotia an Accord to which Harper announced gleefully to the Public with no empathy for other Provinces, even though the Accord was never signed.  He also promised no side deals, so technically without a signing, Harper can sleep even deeper, not that he has any guilt keeping him up anyway.

"failure to accept responsibility for own actions"

Harper refusing to accept his Firewall around Alberta writings and putting it off as an indiscretion stemmed from his Right Wing living in Alberta.  Note that if Alberta took his advice, it would have benefited Harper in Alberta (wealthiest Province) while he laughs (glee) at the Rest Of Canada.

Blaming the media for his downfalls even though all they do is quote what HE says.

 "need for stimulation"

Psychopaths having no real relationships unless its for show have a lot of time otherwise which of course leads to boredom.  Harper thrives on chaos and creates chaos just for the stimulation.  His wife does her own thing, the kids in school are away from him, he watches his kids play sports because he likes it.  The rest of the time is boredom.  Its during these boring times that he plans for stimulation through manipulation whether from fear, guilt or whatever he finds works on those individuals involved.  Us non psychopaths have family relationships, and friendships for stimulation and to keep boredom at bay.  Not so for psychopaths.

 "criminal versatility"

Harper ridding democratic laws by enforcing a Reverse Onus on individuals convicted 3 times.  Harper manipulating the Public with FEAR to subvert democracy.

Gitmo North - nuff said.

Snatching illegally and sending people to other Countries to be interviewed tortuously.

Backing Bushs' Gitmo in Cuba.

Prying into peoples' houses just in case they are doing something that HE ( Harper ) does not approve of by sifting through private persons electricity bills and actually allowing police to perform knock and talks just to try to catch you doing something illegal -----FEAR.

"grandiose (exaggeratedly high) estimation of self"

Easy, its always Harpers' way or the highway.  You can't get a better example.

NEXT;  HOW TO USE THE ABOVE AGAINST HARPER.

cheers :) majere the commoner from the streets of kitchener

Harper misses the point when he asks for a mandate to govern.

by: majere

Stevie wants a mandate to govern after his Throne Speech.

A mandate means a blank cheque.  No compromise from Harper ever.

Well he has a lot of learning to do, especially controling his pettiness and anger issues.  His anger at juviniles, his anger at herbs, his pettiness towards the disadvantaged as they should just help themselves.......how out of touch with disablities can a guy get?

Harper thinks he is being clever with what he has done so far with dealing with the Libs with NO COMPROMISES.  Just look as to what I have written and it shows that he is just an average religous nutcase that can't seem to leave his morralitic bible at home when he goes to work.

Harper appears to believe that He knows whats right for Canadians, and if it pisses them off its their problem not his.  I am talking about allowing police to go on fishing expiditions doing their Knock and Talks to see if they can catch the homeowner doing "anything" illegal.  Like I said before, why doesn't Stevie just ask for everyones house keys to be kept at the local cop shop so they can walk in anytime.

Well it all boils down to respecting whatever is in my basement is my business, not hurting anyone.  What I have in my backyard growing does not hurt a single soul nor stops the neighbours from enjoying their property.

Compromise;  Stephen Harper can't.  His I am right ego is a charactor flaw that I would not want in a Prime Minister.

How is he to compromise on other issues?  I get it.  Only if they conform to his way of thinking and beliefs only.

Some leadership, sarcasim.

I can only hope that the Libs get a majority just to rub it in Stephens' face.

cheers :) majere who compromises.

Stephen Harper and John Manleys' Afghan appointment.

by: majere

Whats the Liberal problem???

The Libs forced the Cons to provide this inquiry (which means nothing but lip service anyways).

So the Libs should be celebrating that a Liberal John Manley was appointed after much Lib critisizing of the Cons Afghan policy.

Too bad the Liberals cannot enunciate the only strategy that would win in Afghanistan.

Stephen Harpers' minority refuses common sense and chooses ignorance.

by: majere

Stephen Harper refuses to even come close to understanding Afghanistan Strategies, he chooses to remain ignorant.

The strategys' used is an American copy of Vietnam.  Too bad for the Canadians over there caught up patroling the same routes day and night, always losing the ground as soon as they leave.......Vietnam.

I already explained the tactics and strategys' reqd to secure the Country but Stevie choses to remain ignorant.

Just a recap from British History;

Completely surround every village, city, hamlet with soldiers.  People can come in but cannot leave.  Provide Medical, Dental, Food, Water, and infrastructure.  This means they are better off in these guarded zones.  AND yes, this requires many more thousands of troops.

The farmers should each have a full section of infantry with crew served weapons with a sniper team as well.  With the closness of farms other sections will be in line of site or the sniper team should be in line of sight between two farms that are not in line of site.  Provide food, med, dental, water to farmers family.

Everyone not approaching the towns and farms without hands up gets shot.

Too easy.

Harper does not want to know this.  He wants to keep the troops there to appease his ego and the American Right Wing Republicans.........the asshole.

Harper knows he cannot keep face if he withdraws the troops.  So he won't.  Instead its his sacrificing of our young men and women so Harper will not be ambarrassed on the World stage as if Canada actually contributes....... yea right.

There has to be an incompetance law suit in there somewhere against Harper.

cheers to all except the Cons :) majere

Stephen Harper fears 14 year old kids.

by: majere

Yes, Stephen Harper and the Conservative Party of Canada fears 14 year old kids.

Harpers' get tough on 14 year olds by putting them away for life (20 yrs) because they make a major mistake.

Now, Harper already supports boy soldiers and prosecution thereof as previously substantiated earlier.

Picture a 14 yr old just entering High School, socially awkward, hormones developing and trying to find ones way.  Us much older know that when we look back to when we were 14 we just knew the basics of right and wrong with no long term thinking.  We knew we did not know anything.

Harper fears 14 yr olds.  Perhaps because now a days they are not thinking like him, acting like him, have the same religous moralls as him, not Conservative like him.

Harper is 20 to 30 yrs behind the times using the American Right Wing Model, which of course is so backwards for Canada that the Liberals when they do gain power will probally take yrs to catch up to modern day.

Now picture a 14 yr old in the max security Kingston Pen.  Picture him or her getting out when they are 40 yrs old or so.  Picture that person pissed at Harper and the Cons.  Picture a 14 yr old learning that fear and intimidation is the only rule in life.

Harper, your a child abuser.

cheers :) majere

Libby Davies why are you not investigating Grant Krieger?

Stephen Harper uses Canada as a Platform to support child soldiers.

by: majere

Yes, exactly what I said.

Remember a religously brainwashed 15 year old juvinile sitting in an illegal detention center?

Kept there by Steven Harper in fact, probally did not want to upset Bush since it was Bush that put him there.  A Canadian 15 year old.

Now picture him white.   Yea, that movie.

Stephen Harper using him as example on the world stage.  Its ok to have boy soldiers.  Canada endorses it.

What an evil hypocrit.

Gitmo: Omar Khadr could have made better choice than "Roots" at USMilitaryTribun
by k.hawley Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006 at 4:22 PM
corporats@yahoo.ca

Guantanamo Bay: Unlawful "human being",Omar Khadr, who was chided by the US Military Tribunal judge for wearing a Canadian "Roots" sweatshirt, could have made a more poignant and appropos choice by donning a "Kangol" brand hat!

Canadian teenager Omar Khadar was "chided" by the judge in his Guantanamo Bay,U.S.military tribunal hearing, for wearing a Canadian "Roots" brand sweatshirt! Maybe Omar Khadar's choice of clothing would have been more pertinent and indeed symbolic to the judge and that U.S. Military Court, if Omar had picked a "Kangol" brand hat (*with the distinctive Kangaroo icon!) to wear on his head!

GUANTANAMO BAY, Cuba (CP) - The U.S. military lawyer prosecuting Omar Khadr said Tuesday that the Canadian teenager is no fresh-faced innocent but a terrorist murderer who deserves to be convicted by a special military tribunal.
Chief prosecutor Mo Davis blasted "nauseating" sympathetic portrayals of Khadr, who was 15 when he was captured after a July 2002 firefight in Afghanistan that killed a U.S. medic. Authorities could have sought the death penalty but didn't because Khadr was a juvenile, Davis said in comments the day before the teen's first appearance at a pre-trial hearing.
"You'll see evidence when we get into the courtroom of the smiling face of Omar Khadr as he builds bombs to kill Americans," said Davis.
"I don't think it's a great leap to figure out why we're holding him accountable," he said, charging that Khadr and others picked up the tools of terrorism at al Qaida training camps.
"They weren't making s'mores and learning how to tie knots."

majere;  ok, now think of Michael Corin with his religous conservatism uzing out of his pores.  Now white again.  Get the connection?  If not, your a white dude who does not read the newspaper because he can't read anyway.

cheers :) majere

Ha Ha, the Party is NOT over Mr. Stephen Harper......

by: majere

Shame on you Stephen Harper, sending Clement out to notify people that YOU are going to be taking away a method of help for sick people.  But of course Stevie, you think that a junkie can just dry out in prison with no medical intervention.

YOUR aligning of Cannabis with drugs is an association that is a fallacy.  Cannibis is a flower, unprocessed, while a "drug" is man processed and concentrated ex opium.  You Stephen are just preaching to your converts as the rest of us see through you.

YOU Stephen Harper are putting us back 20 years with your so called American War On Drugs.  In case you have not heard - the Yanks have lost and will not admit it.  Get out of Bushs' butt and think for yourself herbally and medically.  Oh, I forgot you can't.

You Stephen Harper also cannot abviously read as the Senate Report states;

"The continued prohibition of cannabis jeopardizes the health and well-being of Canadians much more than does the substance itself."
- Senate Special Committee on Illegal Drugs, 2002
http://www.senatereport.ca

Stevie can't read, Stevie does not heed, Stevie knows nothing of weed.

We just have to get you out of power before you administer YOUR fascist "Final Solution".

But then again Stevie, your just doing this to appease the Bible thumpers since you never had the Cannabis vote in the first place.  Your petty and pathetic picking on people who like to bake with a flower.

Stevie forcing his religous moralls on the general public as if he and his bible knows best.  Get rid of religion out of your politics and just maybe you will connect with the electorate in general.

Steve, the party is not over and never will be when it comes to cannabis flowers.  Personally I like an original African strain.  Cannabis is part of Canadian Culture not a sub-culture.  YOU are out of touch with everyone outside of your Right-Wing friends.

Harper government to unveil get-tough national drug strategy

THE CANADIAN PRESS

OTTAWA — Health Minister Tony Clement will announce the Conservative government's anti-drug strategy this week with a stark warning: "the party's over" for illicit drug users.

"In the next few days, we're going to be back in the business of an anti-drug strategy," Mr. Clement told The Canadian Press.

"In that sense, the party's over."

Shortly after taking office early last year, the Conservatives decided not to go ahead with a Liberal bill to decriminalize small amounts of marijuana.

Since then, the number of people arrested for smoking pot has jumped dramatically in several Canadian cities, in some cases jumping by more than one third.

Toronto, Vancouver, Ottawa and Halifax all reported increases of between 20 and 50 per cent in 2006 of arrests for possession of cannabis, compared with the previous year.

As a result thousands of people were charged with a criminal offence that, under the previous Liberal government, was on the verge of being classified as a misdemeanour.

Police forces said many young people were under the impression that the decriminalization bill had already passed and were smoking up more boldly than they've ever done before.

Mr. Clement says his government wants to clear up the uncertainty

"There's been a lot of mixed messages going out about illicit drugs," Mr. Clement said in an interview Saturday after a symposium designed to bring together Canada's arts and health communities to combat mental health issues.

There's also a health-care cost element to suggesting to young people that using illicit drugs is OK, the minister said.

"The fact of the matter is they're unhealthy," Mr. Clement said.

"They create poor health outcomes."

For too long, Mr. Clement argues, governments in Canada have been sending the wrong message about drug use. It's time, he says, to take a tougher approach to dealing with the problem.

"There hasn't been a meaningful retooling of our strategy to tackle illicit drugs in over 20 years in this country," Mr. Clement said.

"We're going to be into a different world and take tackling these issues very seriously because (of) the impact on the health and safety of our kids."

The Conservatives' wide-ranging $64-million anti-drug strategy is expected to combine treatment and prevention programs with stiffer penalties for illicit drug use, and a crackdown at the border against drug smuggling.

Justice Minister Rob Nicholson and Public Safety Minister Stockwell Day will join Mr. Clement in announcing the plan as part of a range of initiatives to be unveiled by the Tories surrounding next month's throne speech.

Mr. Clement said treatment and prevention programs were his key priorities for the health element of the drug strategy.

"Yes, there's a justice issue to that," he said.

"But there's also a treatment issue, there's also a prevention issue."

Mr. Clement has suggested in the past that he opposes so-called harm reduction strategies for combatting illegal drug use, including safe-injection sites where nurses provide addicts with clean needles and a safe place to use drugs.

At a Canadian Medical Association meeting last month, he was quoted saying "harm reduction, in a sense, takes many forms. To me, prevention is harm reduction. Treatment is harm reduction. Enforcement is harm reduction."

The following day, a petition signed by over 130 physicians and scientists was released, condemning the Conservative government's "potentially deadly" misrepresentation of the positive evidence for harm reduction programs.

Vancouver's Insite safe injection clinic is facing a December 31 deadline for the renewal of a federal exemption that allows it to operate.

Critics of the Conservative government's approach to illicit drug use say the federal government would be making a serious mistake by failing to renew the exemption.

"I think there's very little chance that Mr. Clement will extend the safe injection site's permit to continue," says Dr. Keith Martin, a British Columbia Liberal MP and former substance-abuse physician.

"But in doing that they will be essentially committing murder."

Advocates say safe-injection sites help to prevent the spread of serious diseases, including AIDS and Hepatitis by preventing users from sharing needles while opponents say the sites simply promote illegal drug use.

Dr. Martin says he's all for increasing penalties for people who sell illegal drugs, including gangsters, but wonders why the Tories would want to target users when he says similar strategies in other countries haven't worked.

"I can't understand why the Conservatives are embracing a war-on-drugs approach that has proven to fail," he said.

"By all means, go after the pushers. By all means, absolutely go after the organized crime gangs that are the real parasites in this situation," he added.

"But for heaven's sake, treat the user as a medical problem and adopt the solutions that have proven to work in other countries."

majere;  and yes Stevie, if I ever get into a position of power, I will prosecute you, the judges who have covered up the legalization (krieger decision) and the Prosecuting Attorneys.

cheers and have a bad day stevie :) majere
