I found out someone else uses the title If I only Had a Brain so in an effort to be genuine the title will change to Life or Nothing like it! Thank you for supporting us during this time of change, unless you're not and then you're a jerk. This is what I do to jerks, so are you for us now?

Todays Musing

Today I was musing about... Festivus and what it really means. <even though I dont take the holiday THAT seriously. I was thinking about how Christmas has become so commercialized and how we have forgotten the true meaning of Christmas. Today, Christmas means Gifts, Long Lines, and the all encompassing Crowd. Instead of having a joyus holiday with our family and remembering why we have the day at all, we spend the month ransacking stores with the Crowd and fighting over this and that and the other. By the time Christmas comes around many of us are so burnt out that we could care less about celebrating than sleeping and enjoying the non crazy shopping Crowd. This is why this year, though I will still celebrate Christmas, I am going to also celebrate Festivus. Though I will make it as silly as possible, the underlying reason is to get together and have fun and get away from the Christmas Crowd that we have all become a part of. After Festivus is Christmas eve, where I hope to spend a restful day before I drive to South Carolina to enjoy a Christmas with my family and remember the Babe in the manger that was born almost 2000 years ago.
