Be Frutfull.......
Galatians 5:22 but what happens when we live Gods way? He brings Gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard.......
Love..... or an affection for others
Joy..... or an exuberence for life
Peace.... or Serenity
Patience...... or a willingness to stick with things
Kindness....... or compassion in the heart
Goodness...... or a conviction of basic holiness
faitfulness...... or loyal commitments
No matter which version we read ........ shoulden't we all strive to be frutfull - or be worthy enough to receve the Gifts that God has waiting for us?
The word that appears in the ancient scriptures most often
where love appears in the modern translations is \"caritas\"
which now, wrongly, is understood to mean charity. the nearest
translation we can get to the original greek meaning of caritas
is \"an affinity with ones fellow creatures,\" the lack of which
was probably what Jesus was referring to when he said the one
unpardonable sin is to blaspheme against the Holy Spirit (Mark
3:28) Don\'t get excited, I had to look it up.
