Anxious or worry?

by: jamryn

Psalms 55:22 Pile all your troubles on God's sholders he'll carry your load, he'll never let good people topple into ruin.

I think of all three verses  I like this one the best. It addresses the concers and feelings that I have at the moment. Becides that - just the thought of this fatherly figure taking all my heavy burdens(bundles) and carrying them for me is comforting. A friendly face and voice keeping me companyalong the way.

Matthew 6;25 If you decide for God. living a life of God-worship, it follows that you don't fuss about whats on the table at meal times or whether the clothes in your closet are in fashion. There is far more to your life than the food you put into your stomach. More to your outter apperance than the clothes you have on your back.

This is definetly not the concern for me.  At least not today. After bible  study we will be going to the teachers house for a light lunch.  I have no doubt that there will be more than enough good food to go around. As for clothes - I'm not a clothes horse, I'll wear what ever is most comfortable.

Philippians 4:6Don't fret or worry, instead of worrying pray. Let portitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns.

This one also speaks to me today.  A lot of trivial things have come to mind while I was typing  this verse. Including the concern of not getting the local tv channles back - quick enough. How silly - of course we'll get them back. And on God's timming not mine.  He's probabely saying - Get up - Get out of the apartment and Go do something.
