To be Successful......
......it has been said that one should remember names of those around themselves. This would be a surefire way to build up rapport.
I agree with this , but feel that remembering names just for the fact of rembering names is waisting energy - better spent on truly getting to know the person - behind the name.
Thinking about this - of course sent me off on a tangent- plaring a game I offten do with words and their meanings.
Rapport = mutual trust.
Trust =firm reliance on the integrity, ability or charactor.
Integrity= steadfast adhearence to a strict moral code.......
While this could go on and on and on I wonder if this is why it's sometimes dificult for people to get along - to build an easy rapport - because we are no longer steadfast in anything let alone trust in one another?
