Reading through the blogs today I came acrost this one http://www.blogigo.com/princess_pia  She posed  several questions that I'd like to give my answers here. 

Side note. These are my opinions and ideas -  that I'm sharing. I did say sharing - not force feading to anyone.  

 " I feel like he dosen't hear me when I cry out that I need him." God - does hear us. Whether it's a whisper or an out and out  screem.  The dificulty comes in when we don't wait for the answer? Conversation is a two way street. We need to  lissen as well as voicing our concerns.  This also holds true ourselves and  GOD. A fellow human? - the same thing.  If you feel he's not hearing you - he's not realy listening.

 " I need him now more than ever." With God - this is true for this whole Earth !

" I feel like he dosen't know how bad things really are."  With GOD - he KNOWS ! But then again that's what you get when - given free choice. Your choice may or may not be the same as mine.  Like a loving parent - He can only guide you.  It's up to us to listen or not. Or to interpert the guidence to our own way of thinking.  Most fellow humans are carring on a ( entirely different ) conversation in our heads - while someone else is talking. Therefor - not listening - carefully - causes a lot of confusion.

" Or maybe he just dosen't care." He  KNOWES  and He does CARE !  It's back to that thing about FREE WILL. Check out "The  To Do List " http://www.blogigo.com/jamryn1  Humans tend to be a bit on the selfish side, only caring about what will best serve themselves.

 " Not even if it means the end of us." With GOD -  there will NEVER  be an end of ( God + us) us.  He will never , never , never leave us. No matter how bad we  screw up.  He'll always be there - waiting for our cry. Wether it be a whisper or an out and out scream.

first - taking a quick glance backward.  My mother's favorite phrase for me was - half assed and backwards.

Oh how I haited that phrase. That was untill I discovered my dyslexia and ADD. Now I claim it as - what makes me SPECIAL.

My friend sends me these cute storys and sayings every week.  This weeks  - YEAR END REFLECTIONS  I  was thinking - why - why just once a year?  Why don't we try to spread this out over a full year?

If that were possable ( any thing is possable ) it might look like this:

1.   All year long we would enjoy sampeling ( just a taste or two - not pigging out) the abundance of good food.

2.  There would be parties and people  and songs and SMILES all year long. Just think of all we could celebrate - 

January - New Years,Marten Luther King Day, Chinese New Year

Febuary - Groundhog Day, Presidents Day, Valentines Day

March - St. Patrick's Day, The beginning of Spring

April - Earth Day( April 22),tax Day, Spring

 May - Mothers Day, Memorial Day

June - Graguations, Flag Day, Fathers Day, Summer

July - Indpendance Day

August - Summer

September - Labor Day, Grandparents Day, Autumn

October - Columbus Day, Halloween

November - Thanks giving Day 

December - Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Winter, etc.

Not to mention Aniverserys and Birthdays.

We could take the time to stroll through a mountain pathway, taking time to stop and listen. 

To sit quietly be a crakling fire place or camp fire, staring into the heat and letting our thoughts  emerge, drift, and linger. 

All year long  we could enjoy the grand and glorous MUSIC being played all around us.

We could enjoy being - who we are  - and all those around us.Enjoy the differences and celebrate the things we have in common.

 Just maybe - just maybe there would be more LOVE  and  less HATE  -  just maybe.

Thanks  davecathy  for the comment. Love is a very big and complicated subject. One that I doubt any human will ever fully comprehend.   It is my beleve that like many say that - - - God is Love.   We can only strive to learn more about - Love - not that we will ever totaly achieve it. It is not my intent to ofend anyone, but the best definition that I a mere human can give is from the Bible. 

1  Corinthians 13: 4-7

Love never gives up.

Love cares more for others than self.

Love dosen't want what it dosen't have.

Love dosen't strut. 

Dosen't have a swelled head

Dosen't force itself on others

Isn't always " Me first". 

Dosen't fly off the handle.

Dosen't keep score of the sins of others.

Dosen't revel when others grovel.

Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth.

Puts up with anything.

Trusts God always.

Always looks for the best.

Never looks back.

But keeps going to the end.

Those are not just fancy words that someone wrote many many years ago.  To me it's a road map - a plan - a way to a happier and healthier life.

I'll agree with you  there are people on this earth that seem to be unlovable.  Some might even say that about my husband. 

The message I get is Love the person - not their actions.  

But I know that he's only reflecting 95%  the attitude and life style  of his decesed mother and grandfather.  They didn't know any better because the grew up with 100% of  that hatrid, vengence, evil  and mis trust. 

So did hubby.  Yet there is a seed of love and  caring in there some where.  Who am I to give up , when - with the next turn of the corner and find the key and unlock  the door - and free him to a  happier and healthier life?

 That's why I especialy liked that quote. That we should strive for - not nessarly achieve - but strive fore a little more Love and a lot  less HAIT in our lives in 2006

                       Christmas  Tree

THE TRUE MEANING OF CHRISTMAS  Just a week before  christmas I  had a visitor. This is how it happened. I just finished the household chores for  the night and was preparing to go to bed, when I heard a noise in the frount of the house. I opened the door to the front room and to my surprise, Santa  himself stepped out from behind the  Christmas tree. 

"What are you doing?" I started to ask. The words choked up in my throat and I saw he had tears in his eyes. His usual jolly manner was gone. Gone was the eager, boisterous soul we all know. He  then answered me with a simple statement........

"TEACH THE CHILDREN !"  I was puzzled. What did he mean?  He anticipated my question and with one quick movement brought forth a miniature toy bag from behind the tree. As I stood bewildered, Santa said, "teach the children!  Teach them the  old meaning of Christmas. The meaning that noe-a-days Christmas has forgotten."  

Santa then reached in his bag and pulled out a

  FIR TREE 

and placed it before the mantle. " teach the children that the puregreen color of the stately fir tree remains green all year round, depicting the ever-lasting hope of mankind, all the needles point heavenward, making it a symbol of man's darkness."  He again reaches into his bag and pulled out a brilliant

STAR 

"Teach the children that the star was the heavenly sign of promises long ago. God promised a Savior for the world, and the star was the sign of fulfillment of his promise." He then reached into his bag and pulled out a

CANDLE 

" Teach the children  that the candle symbolizes that Christ is the light of the world, and when we see this great light we are reminded of He who displaces the darkness."

 Once again he reaches into his bag and removes a

WREATH

and places it on the tree. "Teach the children that the wreatg symbolizes the real nature of love. Real love never ceases. Love  is one continuous round of affection."

He then pulls from the bag an

ORNAMENT

 of himself. "Teach the children  that I Santa Claus,  symbolize the generosity and good will we feel during the month of December." 

He then brought out  a

HOLLY  LEAF

"Teach the children  that the holly plant represents the crown of thorns woren by our Savior. The red holly   berries represent the  blood shed by him."

Next he pulled from his bag a

GIFT

and said,"Teach the children that God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son." Thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift.

 Santa then reached in his bag and pulled out a

CANDY    CANE

 and hung it on the tree. "Teach the children that the candy cane represents the shepherds crook. The crook on the staff helps to bring back strayed sheep to the flock. The  candy cain is the symbol that we are our brothers keeper."

He  reached in again and pulled out an

ANGEL

"Teach the children  that it was the angels that heralded in the glorious news of the Savior's birth. The angels sang Glory to God in the highest, peace on earth and good will toward man."

Suddenly I heard a soft twinkling sound, and from his bag he pulled out a 

BELL

"Teach the children that as the last sheep are found by the sound of the bell, it should ring mankind to the fold.  The bell symbolizes guigence and return."

Santa looked back and was pleased. He looked  back at me and I saw that the twinkle was back in his eyes. He said, "remember, teach the children the true meaning of Christmas and do not put me in the center, for I am but a humble servent of the One that is, and I  bow down to worship Him,  our LORD, our GOD."

" Twas the Night Before Jesus Came"

Twas the night before Jesus came and all through the house

Not a creature was praying, not one in the house. Their Bibles were lain on the shelf without care In hopes that Jesus would not come there. 

The children were dressing to crawl into bead, Not once ever kneeling or bowing a head. And Mom in her rocker and baby on her lap Was watching the Late Show while I took a nap.

 When out of the East there arose such a clatter, I sprang to my feet to see what was the matter. Away to the window I flew like a flashTore open the shutters and threw up the sash!

When what to my wondering eyes should appear But angels proclaming that Jesus was here. With a light like the sun sending forth a bright ray I knew in a moment this must be THE DAY!

The light of his face made me cover my head. It was Jesus! Returning just like He had said. And though I possessed worldy wisdom and wealth, I cried when I saw Him in spite of myself.

In tne Book of Life which He held in His hand, Was written the name of every saved man. He spoke not a word as He searched for my name; When He said,"It's not here," my head hung in shame.

The people whose names had been written with love He gathered to take to His Father above. With those who were ready He rose without a sound While all the rest were left standing around.

I fell to my knees, but it was too late; I had waited too long and thus sealed my fate. I stood and I cryed as the rose out of sight;"Oh, if only I had been ready tonight.

In the words of this poem the meaning is clear; The comming of Jesus is drawing near.

 There's  only one life and when comes the last call We'll find that the Bible was true after all!

Happy New Year

May your hair, your teeth, your face lift, your abs, and your stocks not fall; and may your bloodpreasure, your triglycerides, your cholesterol, your white blood count and your mortgage intrest not rise. 

May you get a clean bill of health from your denest, your cardialogest, your gastroenterologist, your urologist, your proctologist, your podiatrist, your psychiatrist, your plumber and the IRS.

May you find a way to travel from anywhere to anywhere during rush hour in less than an hour, and when you get there may you find a parking space.

May this evening, December 31st., find you seated around the dinner table, together with your beloved familey and cherished friends, ushering in the New Year  ahead. You will find the food better, the enviromnent quiter, the cost much cheaper, and the pleasure much more fulfilling than anything else you might ordinarily do that night.

May what you see in the mirror delight you, and what others see in you delight them.

May the telemarketers wait to make their sales calls untill you finish your dinner, may your checkbook and your budget balance, and may they include generous amounts for your church and charities.

May you remember to say " I love you" at least once a day to your spouse, your child, and your parent(s). You can say it to your secetary, your nurse, your butcher, your photographer, your masseuse, your seamstress, your hairdresser or your tennis instructor, but not with a "twinkle" in your eye.

May we all live as intended, in a world at peace with the awareness of the beauty in every sunset, every flower's unfolding petals, every baby's smile and every wonderful, astonishing, miraculious beat of our heart.

Bless you with every happiness, great health, peace, and much love during the next year and all those that follow.

WAKE UP PEOPLE !!!! We're being lied to by the very ones we trusted to protect us.

You think that 60% of the people here - not trusting the two of them - read http://www.iraqdaily.com what 78%  of the other Arab nations  think of the situation.

They are very suspicious of the United States and becoming more so as time goes on. 4 out of 5 say that they had more peace before all this.

 Bush and Cheney seem to be leading us in the oppsite  direction any type of peace. There or here.  Wake up people we ARE being lied to.

 Last may Cheney told us the insurgency was dieing down - the news tells  us daily that its increasing - who's telling us the TRUTH?

Last wednesday Bush said the Iraq forces was getting stronger and can soon take over much of the fighting.  No mention of the heavily growing CIVIL WAR  growing among all the citizans there. 

They are killing of their own  just as fast or faster.  Who's taking the place of our troops?

Who's telling us the TRUTH ? or not?

It's cold outside. So gather around everyone and let's warm up  in frount of the fire place.   Hot mulled cider for all.  Let's pass the time by telling stories.  We're represented here by several nations.  Now would be a good time to discover how much we're all alike. 

Sort of one big familey.  In the past few months - years we've sort of sliped away from finding peace and comfort in our own or ( world wide view of) families.

Families ( in my opinion )are the first line of action where we can learn to be a success or not. Some families seem to have the answer and other are struggling to even catch a glimps of it. Is there a spacific recipe - that some families follow  - to be successful?

Do you know the secret? Would you be interested in a book of stories, poems and art work  that told you such secrets? Would anyone be intrested in sharing - stories, poems and or art work  in such a book? Could we really link hands around the world( here) and put such a book together?
