Mood: Schocked - really

They say it's possable to learn something new - every day. I thought I left this site  long - long - ago.  Then on a whim, I google myself and hear I am.  Well I'll be.  I guess you can teach an old Dog  something new- or old - or whatever.

I just noticed there are no advertisements at the top of our blogs.   I know - I know I'm slow . . . . or something  

Is it just me - - - - or are we missing people who use to be here?   I loved reading Mistwarrier's kicking but blog.  There was'nt a day go by that I wanted to check in and see how things were going with her and the purr pile.

Hay  was the change worth you ( us ) loosing some of the people we once enjoyed "Blogging " with?

 With all the confusing changes and errors we made  just trying to get something that closely resembled "ENGLISH" and then finding out that some of our favorite blogs are nowhere to be found. It makes me very all i want to do is  U What were  you thinking  ?

Tis true  my background is German  BUT  I DON'T READ IT!!!!!   WHAT IS THIS SHIT!!!!

  My thought would be if  the majority of people - who came to this country back in the 1700's were followers of Budda - Shiva - Mohammend or of other religions  seeking a better way of life and founded the country on the principals of those religions   - then the monuments would most likely reflect that. 

It's kind of like a group of people starting up a new organization and laying down the ground rules. Does that mean that with in the next 300 years or so that there can't be some changes  here or there? No. That in it'self was part of the original plan - that we adapt to each others life styles.

When you make a pot of  vegtable soup - when does the potatos have the right to declare it potato soup in stead of vegtable soup and people enjoying all the flavors as one?

Sort of the "Melting Pot Idea". You take what works and add to it - not dicect it into millions of pieces.  In that case - if that would be the plan we would no longer be one "UNITED " country. We would be a million different  countries on one contenent.

It's like the people from Mexico comming in to the United states ( wanting the fredom that we have ) and yet wanting to change our  national anthem to their words and language so they can feel more at home.

To continue the comment on that issue? No we are not so UNITED at this particular time. We've got red states fighting blue states,etc. It's all one big mess. What we desperetely need is someone to step up and be the hero and bring us all back together iregardless if they are Democrat, Republican or Indpendant.  Someone who can see  value on both sides.

I need your help.  In three weeks my fellow Toastmaster members will be having a "debate".  The issue will be on "The 10 comandment monuments" should we allow them on public property or not? 

What do you think?? I will be a part of the debate team and could use some current information. Pro or Con. 

I'll fess up which side I was on after the 15th. of August and how it went.

WOW ! How time flys when your having fun, or drags when you're not. None the less, It can be a real shocker when .....all of a sudden you realise, just how  much of it has passed.  I had'nt realized it was that long ago that I posted  anything. Nothing much has changed. Life has'nt suddenly gotten more facinating. It's just plugging along ....like a slow...slow....slow freight train,gathering useless pieces of information. Such as.....

America having half of the world's marble domes.  There are only four marble domes on buildings in the entire world...and the United States has two of them !

 The huge marble dome on top of the State Capitol of Rhode Island was the first in America....The marble dome on top of the Minnesoda State Capitol Building was the second. 

The other marble domes in the  world are on te top of the Tai Mahal and St. Peter's Cathedral in Rome.
