*Like It or Not...This Is Me*

YAY...it is Friday!!!

I am so glad it is Friday!  I get  a whole weekend of kitchen remodeling.  Trust me, I think it is a good thing as I haven't had time at all this week.

Nothing much has happened yet today!  My nephew is here and he wanted soup for breakfast...I obliged and made him some.  I had left over roasted chicken from the other night and threw that in as well.  MMMM...I may have some as well...lol

Had to take a decent picture of the tree last night for my son.  I guess in German class they are making Christmas cards and they needed pictures of a tree.

I have had two cups of coffee this morning and am ready for bed!  Yes...I said bed.  Caffeine has the opposite effect on me for some reason or another.  Although it does make me want to go to the bathroom ALOT!!!

Yesterday my daughter had her braces done again and she chose purple as the new colour.  I tried to talk her into alternating red and green for the holidays!  Didn't work, oh well, she looks cute with purple.  Her previous ones were orange and black alternating colours for the fall/Halloween season.  I can't wait to get my braces on in a couple of years!

I decorated a bit more for the holidays last night, but need to go get zip ties so I can put my fresh green garland on the railing outside.  I am falling behind on decorating.  You have got to see some of the houses around here and the next town.  There is this one area, and they call it candy cane lane during the holidays.  It is a bunch of houses that alternate red and green lights on their houses.  Very tacky, but it does look cool.  I was told by a friend that if you don't do that to your house, the neighbors will come and do it with or without your permission.  Well, if I lived there I would NOT put up lights on purpose!  There is one house that has not done it and I salute them!!!  That would seriously piss me off if they did that to me!  If they were to do that to my house I would cut them all down and charge them with destruction of property and tresspassing.  BAH HUMBUG...not really, don't get me wrong, I love to decorate, but if I was forced to...KISS MY ARSE!

So, you are all well a expect?

Hubby is asleep, as usual, and the nephew is ready for a nap(he requested warm milk) and so am I.

She's gotta keep em on...

Yep, my daughter has to keep her braces on, for now.  They kept saying that she might have to have them taken off cuz a couple of her teeth that fell out haven't come in yet...anyways, it is hard for them to get the braces on the spaces...nevermind...she has to keep them on for a spell.

Well the day is cold and I am tired.  Stayed up late last night watching stupid shows on some weird channel.  Hubby ended up staying late at work(3AM), which is nice when the paycheck rolls in.  He asked me what I would like for xmas.  I told him, the ring I have on lay-by at the jewelry store.  So looks like I will be getting that!  I still want a dishwasher, which I never got for my b-day!  Hey come to think of it...I didn't get anything.  Oh well, I really didn't need anything!  If I did get something, I don't remember what it was.

I was just remembering a time...actually a Christmas before hubby and I were married.  It was the first time I met his family and we were opening gifts and I opened this one from him and it was just a box with stuffing inside.  I was like...MAD...but he said look in the cover of the box.  It was a promise ring.  He knew i would throw the cover to the side and thought he was really funny.

Another time we were at my mothers' for Christmas and I go to open my gift and there was another gift...and I opened that one and yet another...so after 11 boxes I get to the real deal...it was a pair of champagne diamond earrings.   I got champagne diamonds before they were in fashion!!!

Another time I wanted this snowbabies statue...it was Father Christmas with his hands out wide and little snowbabies around him.  I did get it, but around the Father Christmas' neck was a champagne diamond necklace to match the earrings I had recieved the year before.  He always 'did' things like that...how sweet huh?  What happened to that man?  I have no idea...I guess marriage does that and a money crunch.

Last year I recieved a seiko gold watch.  I was excited about that, because I don't have a nice watch, just a cheap Wal-Mart one.  I wear it everyday!

Bought a book at Barnes and Noble last night after 'church'.  It is called "LADY COTTINGTON'S PRESSED FAIRY BOOK--103/4 ANNIVERSARY EDITION'...I highly reccommend it if you are into faeries.  It came with a  dvd too, but I don't want to open it yet.  I like to keep my books perfect, like I never read them!  Silly, I know, but I can be anal sometimes.

The nephew is at pre-school today.  I actually was able to read my mail and drink my coffee.

Well I could use another cup of coffee about now so I will talk with you all later...
