*Like It or Not...This Is Me*

Sep 29, 2005 at 19:17 o\clock

Soo tired and sleepy.

It feels like a yellow day today!  Hasn't been much happening here.  I still have a hurt knee...I get to go to the Bone and Joint doctor next week(they told me I oculd get in yesterday but they lie),  I am so glad to finally get this taken care of.  It has been two years since I heard a POP sound and it has gotten worse.

My nephew is sleeping now and I tried but the neighbors beside me are moving out!  Thank Goddess!!! They screwed my friend(who rents it out) out of alot of cash.  Their deposit was waived, under the terms they were going to put the fence up(they didn't), they were supposed to re-tile the kitchen floor(they didn't), the backyard is all dug up because of their dogs and I am supposed to go in there after they leave and take pictures...oh man I really don't want to.  They are getting away without doing this, but it is in the contract they signed so I hope my friend gets them to pay!!

Today was my daughters' school pictures, I am glad she didn't go for a mohawk like my son did...she is so cute.  At the end of last school term I had her beautiful blonde hair highlighted lighter blonde on the top and underneath we colored it black.  It was very cute.  It still looks good for having been done like 6 months ago.  So we used the straightener this morning(yikes-so bad for your hair BTW) and it is all shiny, straight and GORGEOUS!!!

OOOhh sounds like the neighbors are outta here!!!  The moving van is fired up and ready...so long buttheads...ok, they were good neighbors but damn, they didn't do anything they were suppoesed to for the house...nope, they are just doing something and haven't left yet.

Miss Shelly-Don't you worry about how you feel, you need to vent and if this is where you choose to do it, so be it.  Don't let anyone tell you different!  99% of the people who read your blog don't have a clue as to who, what, where, when  and why so feel FREE to do what you need to to feel better!!  We are ALWAYS here for you and feel free to call, write or bug any of us when you need to VENT or talk.  LOVES YOU G.

Well, I best get going so as not to bore you much further...

What a day and it sucked...

Mood: In pain because of my knee(again)!!
Listening to: watching XXX gotta love Vin Deisel

So, my nephew came over, as always.  We both took a nap, however his was four hours long.  Oh well, he will keep his mom up all night, not me-lol

Went out to my mothers' about 4pm to help her go through her stuff.  She said she would be home, SHE WASN'T!!!  So I decide to get the garage straightened out.  She has a three stall garage, full of so much crap that she she should get a big dumpster and chuck it all.  Hello do you really need an old damn fridge that broke down 15 years ago?  I don't think so.  Anyways...I get cleaning and all and set up some shelves for the garage sale and then...POP...there goes the knee.  So I go to the 'CONVENIENCE CLINIC' and I am now gonna have to have my knee scoped and probably scraped out!   Oh boy I am just ever so excited!!!   NOT!!!!  I am home, updating and waiting for NIP/TUCK to come on-my favorite show BTW...I am just waiting for 'DEADWOOD' to come back on on HBO, my other favorite show...damn I think I have too many fave shows...oh well.

Now about my sons hair...today was school pictures and he decided to spike it up for the pics...I was glad, because it looks silly when it is flat.  I don't know anymore.  Any moms out there have any of these kind of weeks?

Well I am going to go eat my taco potaotes for supper and then watch NIP/TUCK...have a great night you all and thank you all for stopping by!!!

Chicken nuggets and brown gravy...

Yep, that is what my nephew and I had for lunch!  But not just regular chicken nuggets, homemade chicken nuggets.  I cut up chicken breast and roll it in egg and then in flour/seasoning mix and bake(you can deep fat fry).  Oh so good.  I also made veggies so don't think I feed my nephew badly! lol

Ok, I will try the pictures again someday but I am just not able to get it, ya know...computer illiterate...HELLO!!!

I was so upbeat about the neighbors' tree removal, I went back there and cut down some of the other neighbors over grown trees.  I know but damn they were rubbing on my shed and it was a creepy sound, like nails on a chalkboard.  It look pretty bare back there now!

Went to bed last night at about ohhh hlet us just say it was early morning by the time I got to sleep...NO MORE DAYTIME NAPS with the nephew, no matter what!!!  It is killing me...

I cannot wait till Friday---payday---I have a big bill to pay and that is it but then there will be little money left.  Obviously it is a medical bill...I love that we have insurance but damn the co-pay for a hospital stay is alot!  I haven't been in to the doctor for my 'ANNUAL' exam and now that I am 36, I am supposed to get a mammogram(it scares me).  It scares me cuz I found something.  I am a year over due for all that business.  Oh well.

Supposedly my mother says we are having the garage sale this weekend at her house...she has been saying that for like 2 months now!  So today, tomorrow and thursday I am going to her house to help her CLEAN OUT the crap.  I hope so, I have to get some extra cash.

Well, it was my sons' school pictures today.  The whole mohawk thing still ticks me off, but I will have his pics taken at a professional place when his hair grows a bit.  I have a free package deal thing and may use that.  I also have a cousin who is a photographer.  She is awesome!!!

I colored my hair last night.  It is a bit darker than it used to be but it has a purplish/reddish tint to it.  You really can only see the tint in the sunlight.  That is good!  I go in for nails on the 14th of OCTOBER.  I haven't had nails for two months.  Just haven't felt like having them for awhile.  I did have them on for two years so I think I needed a break!  I can't wait!

I am getting so excited for Halloween.  It is my favorite holiday by far!  Last night Shelly and I looked up things for me to wear.  I found a cute little skirt(very faerie like) and a top to go with it.  I haven't gotten them as of yet but I had better before it is gone!

My puppy needs to get a haircut so bad, actually they both do.  But the pomeranian needs her bum shaved, she gets dingle berries and it is gross. lol sorry for that but it is true!

I suppose I will get going, I am now rambling and i don't like to do that!

Greetings and Salutations...

Mood: Tired now!
Listening to: watching Winnie the Poohs' Huffalump Halloween(love it...)

It is a green day today...ahhh haaa did I make a funny?   So I trust you all had a wonderful weekend and all?  If not, oh well, there are many more to come...lol.

My nephew is here and will not take a nap...see the neighbors behind us are having about 10 trees cut down and he is all excited just watching it.  They are using a BOBCAT like Uncle B. builds and he is so excited to see that!  What a nut huh?

My day should be relaxing...no plans!

I should actually call and find out how much it costs to get a tree removed.  I have one in the front yard and it is starting to lift the driveway up and the sidewalk.  I really don't feel like having a new driveway and sidewalk put in.  Maybe I will just pour poison on it and it will die, then the city will come and do it, FREE, hee hee, I feel sneaky like that!

The kiddos are in school now, they should be home around 3:45 or so...ughhh.  They better get their rooms clean or NO fun stuff this weekend.  I mean they are pigs...when you take something out...PUT IT AWAY...if you have the energy to take it out you should be able to put it away, right?  If I ever left a mess at home, I wouldn't get my five bucks a week allowance, I know five bucks isn't alot, but it was something.  My mother was a single mom after my father passed away when I was nine years old.  Times were tough but ok...we had food and we had clothes on our back!

I suppose I am done writing for now, I have a rather boring life as you can tell.

Some Q's from Shels' Bloggie...

Mood: Silly
Listening to: Still watching Roseanne

This is courtesy of Shelly's Blog(who in turn got it from Footprints In The Sands' blog)...

Of the movies in your current DVD or VHS collection, name seven (in no particular order) that you have watched enough times to make your friends suspect that there might be something wrong with you but that you can't imagine not watching again. [ since this confused me i'll explain it: list 7 movies that you watch a LOT ].

1)Rocky Horror Picture Show(my fav)

2)Shaun of the Dead

3)Empire Records

4)Winnie the Pooh Heffalump Halloween

5)Moulin Rouge

6)Roseanne(not really a movie, but I loves it)

7)El Dorado(a John Wayne movie)

This is called "The Saturday Six" and it's also from Footprints in the Sand.

1. Of the following, which one best describes you at your worst?  (You can't select "None of the above!")
    a. One who doesn't finish what he/she starts
    b. One who talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk
    c. One who always finds the worst in a situation
    d. One who generally knows what's right but does what's wrong

2. Not counting shows like Saturday morning cartoons designed specifically for kids, what single show that you grew up watching religiously is now the one you most hate to sit through? I really HATE the show CHEERS...man I dislike that Diane(I really dislike Shelly Long).

3. Have you ever been so angry with a company that you swore you'd never do business with them again? DEFINATELY!!! If so, did you keep that promise? I haven't been to Hobby Lobby since and have no reason to go now!!(but it is killing me, I love that store!!!)

4. Take this quiz:  Are you psychic?

You Are 60% Psychic

You Are 80% Psychic
You are so very psychic.
But you already predicted that, didn't you?
You have "the gift" - and you use it daily to connect with others.
You're very tapped into the world around you...
Just make sure to use your powers for good!

5.  What's the longest you've talked on the phone in a single phone call, six hours and who were you talking to? Brett, we were just talking and forgot about the time, of course we were just starting to date...if I only knew then what I know now!!!

6. How do you feel about gambling? I love it since I only do it once in a while, but like Shelly said it can get to be a horrible addiction for those who can't control themselves...

Thank you Shelly, that was fun!!!

A Bit Depressed At The Moment! But Don't Worry!

Mood: Down In The Dumps But OK!!!
Listening to: Watching re-runs of Roseanne

I had this in a previous blog I had and had to put it back on...this was originally done by NINE INCH NAILS,  but I like they way Johnny Cash sings it, feels real, you know?

JOHNNY CASH LYRICS

"Hurt"

I hurt myself today
To see if I still feel
I focus on the pain
The only thing that's real
The needle tears a hole
The old familiar sting
Try to kill it all away
But I remember everything

[Chorus:]
What have I become
My sweetest friend
Everyone I know goes away
In the end
And you could have it all
My empire of dirt
I will let you down
I will make you hurt

I wear this crown of thorns
Upon my liar's chair
Full of broken thoughts
I cannot repair
Beneath the stains of time
The feelings disappear
You are someone else
I am still right here

[Chorus:]
What have I become
My sweetest friend
Everyone I know goes away
In the end
And you could have it all
My empire of dirt
I will let you down
I will make you hurt

If I could start again
A million miles away
I would keep myself
I would find a way

Ok, I have nothing to do...

Mood: Tired from cleaning
Listening to: The voices in my head telling me to go to bed...

Hello,  hope your weekend is going well for you all.  Mine was well...different.  Last night was silly huh Shelly?  You saw a bit more than you probably wanted...lol  YES, I WAS DRINKING and yeah...well I got silly.  Nothng else really happened.

I finally got the kitchen sparkly clean.  Hasn't been that clean for a week.

My son went to his friends house and when I went to pick him up he had a mohawk.  Let's just say I am VERY upset.  Not so much about the mohawk, but he didn't ask.  School pictures are coming up and we go to church every week...I give up...!!  Just really disappointed you know?  I took pics, so if anyone wants to see em, ASK!

I played some Wheel of Fortune on the computer for a bit but gave up because I kept losing to the computer.  Why don't they make it so you can win once in awhile.

For supper I made a rather tasty meatloaf, sweet potatoes, garlic toast, veggies and a HOMEMADE chocolate cake and HOMEMADE chocolate butter frosting.  It was soooooo good!  Plenty of leftovers for any of you!

So tomorrow is Monday and I get to watch my nephew again!  UGHHHH...I am so tired of doing that already but it was a promise I made to my sister.

I will get going so as not to bore you all any longer!!!

Crappy day outside...

Mood: Happy(for once)
Listening to: Watching 'Rat Race'

Well hello all, it has been an interesting day today...got up at 8 so as to get my daughter up.   She went to a horse sale at the livestock place witha friend of hers...she wants a horse now!  Then I got bad stuff in the mail, I also got a chain letter yesterday and I could make up to eight hundred thousand a year and they 'claim' it is legal...hmmm I wonder about that one.

Went out to my mothers' with the intention of dropping off more rummage sale things and I forgot them in the trunk...had a blode moment you know!

Wet to the store and took back some stuff I didn't need after all.  Got McDonalds *gag* for my daughter, came home and here I am.

I have some laundry to do today and last nights' dishes...yukk...I would rather scrub the toilet than do dishes...I NEED A DISHWASHER!!!

I am watching 'Rat Race' and it is hilarious...I have seen it once like a long time ago.  I think after I do the dishes I will watch 'Shaun of the Dead' , I love that show...kind of a funny stupid.

Well I will let you all go back to whatever you all were doing!

Finally...the weekend is here!

Mood: Happy
Listening to: Watching Ghost Whisperer...

Doesn't it feel like an orange kind of day?  I think it does, so there you go.

Today was a better day for me.  I took a 3 hour nap again.  Watched my nephew and he was a nightmare, but what else is new?  lol

Today is MHSs'(Mandan High School)

http://www.mandan.k12.nd.us/SeniorHigh/

homecoming football game.  I won't go because they are playing my old High School, CHS(Century High School)

http://www.chs.bismarck.k12.nd.us/

and I would be cheering for my old High School.  I don't like MHS, even though my kiddos will be going to MHS(I may have to move)well I plan on it when I win the lottery).

So I took my nephew home today as I was in Bismarck anyway getting new paint brushes and I had to return some that I bought last week.  I bought watercolour brushes, thinking they were acrylic.  I guess I should read the back...lol  I still need an easel but think I will have to save up for a nice one.  I really want an antique one from Italy but...they are pricey!  I know, I will just get a cheap tabletop one for now.

I finally got the paints and other brushes I ordered from:  http://www.misterart.com  I just love them and their prices are great as compared to around here!

I think it is beer thirty now and since I am feeling a bit better I AM HAVING ONE!!!  The kiddos are gone for the evening.  My son went to homecoming, he told me that if they wear red to the game the seniors will do something to them!  Hmmm, wonder what it could be.  So he wore a brown shirt and jeans.  My daughter is at a friends house and riding bike around the neighborhood and all.

Yeah I am having a beer now!

I think I may also take a bath, a long, hot bubble bath, while drinking my beer.  I would certainly have wine, but am allergic to the sulfates in it! That is no fun and I love wine.  My favorite wine is Zeller Schwarze Katz, it is a sweeter wine from Germany, but oh so good...in fact I should take an allergy pill and have a glass..nope better not take any chances.  Oh but I feel like being naughty.  Who cares if I end up in the emergency room, it was fun while it was going down right?

Stopped at the bookstore and bought a book by Keats.  I have been eyeing  it and finally broke down and bought it!  Man I think I spend more money there than anywhere...lol

Did you all know that yesterday was the first day of Fall?  I did, but forgot to mention it yesterday, sorry.

OOOOOO Ghost Whisperer in on, good thing I am tivo-ing it.  I really must get this post out and all.

Beer number two is going down great.  I so way needed it to relax a bit.  It has been a hectic week and all.

A fellow blogger has said we should all take pics of our desks, well I will do that later but I don't feel like it at this moment...what a neat idea though, it really will tell alot about each of us!  Maybe more than we would like...lol

Well this is alot longer than anticipated so I will let you all go back to whatever you were doing...

'Insert title you prefer here'

Mood: Tired and bored
Listening to: Watching-MOMMY DEAREST-no more wire hangers...lol

I feel like writing in purple.  I just got up from a nap that was oh, about 3 hours long...I still fell like crap, but the doctor said meds won't start kicking in until maybe tomorrow and I will start to feel better.  ugh, I cannot take this any longer...

So it is almost 10pm here in this craphole of a town and I am probably going to be up till 3 or 4 AM.  I should never have taken a nap...

I watched FOOTLOOSE today and I forgot how stupid it was...I guess it was in 1984 they made it.   Hmmmm, am I really that old?  Guess so, *depression has now set in*   lol

This is so badly rambling I will go now...

What Your Sleeping Position Says You have a passion for everything - including sleeping.
Outgoing and brash, you tend to still shock those who know you well.
You tend to be selfish. You are the most likely type to hog the covers.
You gravitate toward comfort and don't like extreme situations.

(I sleep on my tummy you know...)and yep I am selfish-sometimes, everyone else can be once in a while, why can't I)

You tend to set blogging trends, and you're the most likely to write your own meme or survey.
You are a bit distant though. Your blog is all about you - not what anyone else has to say.

What Language Should You Learn?

You Should Learn Swedish

Fantastisk! You're laid back about learning a language - and about life in general.
Peaceful, beautiful Sweden is ideal for you... And you won't even have to speak perfect Swedish to get around!

(so not me but whatever...I am learning Italian and LOVE it...)

Whats Your Power Color?

Your Power Color Is Red-Orange
At Your Highest:

You are warm, sensitive, and focused on your personal growth.

You inspire each person to be an idealist and passionate, and you make each moment memorable
Even a simple coffee date with you can be the most romantic moment of someone's life
By giving your date exactly what he or she desires, you quickly become the ideal lover.

We went to church school and didn't go to church...sorry but I was really ill and had to get to the doc...

Get to the CONVENIENCE(yeah right) CLINIC and sat there for 2 hours before I was in to see a doc...then they had me wait another 30 or so minutes till the doc came in...he looks me over and says ok go to x-ray...waited down in in x-ray for 30 more minutes...go upstairs for the results to which I waited another 20 minutes for the doc to come in...he comes in and tells me I have walking pneumonia(?)  yay for me huh?  I also have some other stuff going on but that I will keep to myself as I am not ready to divuldge(?) that information yet.   So I am on heavy duty antibiotics for 10 days...they are the size of horse pills *gag*

So I will make this short...I am heading to bed NOW!!!

Oh dear Goddess...

So I hear the newest hurricane has been upgraded to a level 3...and headed for Galveston, TX...I am praying that it does not become like Katrina and wipe out everything...when does it end...

Ok, you really have to check this out about Burger King and the silly things people gripe about...

http://www.outsidethebeltway.com/archives/12033

all that over an ice cream treat, which does look like a twist cone and also somewhat similar to the muslim sign...Oh well what can you do?

Not much has happened today...took a nap with my nephew for about an hour...decided I AM going to the doctor as I feel like CRAP.

The kiddos should be home soon from school.  Then it is off to church school and after that church...hmmm I have a busy night ahead of me and if I go to the doctor afterwards I won't be home till 11pm...ugh

Cleaned the livingroom and bathroom so sparkly clean and fresh smelling, that will only last like ten minutes.

Tomorrow I think I better clean out the bird cages...it has been a month now and they are looking kind of well, GROSS.

Yesterday one of the kids that took one of our bikes came over with his parents and apologized.  I accepted and there you go.  They said he is grounded till Halloween...hmmm I wonder about that...lol  But they were still both cited and I will not drop that.  Thank you all for supporting my decision to do that...I just worry alot and I am too nice, sometimes, lol.  Lets' just say if you piss me off enough I will not be nice...hee hee

That reminds me I have to go to the police station and register the bikes...I think it is free and all and they take pictures as well so they are on file.

I am just loving my clean house, ahhh the smell of Pledge and Pine-Sol...

Sorry about that I just like a clean house and all...

Holy Batman...I just checked the weather and the bad naughty Hurricane Rita is now a category 5...this is not going to bode well I fear...let us pray they step it up a bit and take care of those who need it...no more unnecessary(?) deaths...

Well I better get going so as not to bore you any longer as I already have...lol

Mood: SICK!!!

Ok, I just wish a person would get sick for a few days and then it be over...I have been dealing with this crap for two months now...I can't take it...I get sick and then better then, a few days later back to where I was...SICK!

I took a sort of nap with my nephew today...he slept for 3 hours...I only 20 minutes...WHY ME?   Hubby left for work at 1pm and the kiddos should be here in a half hour or so...

The house is a disaster so when nephew leaves, I will clean.  I don't think I have done the dishes for 2 days and it is gross...no mold...yet...lol, but I best get it done before there is.

Didn't eat lunch as my tummy was feeling ill again.  My nephew ate a whole can of Spaghettios and meatballs fo lunch...he didn't eat breakfast this morning so I assume he was just a bit hungry...hee hee.

Went to Barnes and Noble and bought my daughter a book on Ghosthunting and  a book of Ghost Stories...thank you Ghostgirl...now my daughter wants to be like you...isn't that cool though???   I think it is cool... Don't know why, cuz she gets scared easily...lol

I have nothing planned today...I don't think I will be on late tonight Miss Shelly, I am just needing some major knock out drugs and sleep...Yep, I am going to the doctor tonight...*smile*

Well better get going, nephew is beckoning for me to get him something and I best do it NOW or I will get screamed at...lol

Not much has happened since my last post...I took nephew to the park and then he was mad as hell when we had to come back.  Oh well.  He took a nice nap today and I took one too.  It was three hours long...I still feel tired though because I am still sick.  This sucks...being sick and all.

My daughter is watching Clueless(with Alicia Silverstone in it), it is a funny show.

My son is downstairs in his room watching his Family Guy dvds'.

Hubby called and said he has to work till 11pm and then is going to go work out till about 1:30 AM.  He is back to his old hours, this week anyways, of 3PM-11PM.  He is on this new line(he builds Bobcats) and the last 2 weeks he worked 11AM-7PM but now this week the old hours...ughhh.

I have almost all my art supplies-just need an easel and I am good to go...I did find one on EBAY but it was pricey.  It was an antique one from Italy.

One of the kids who took a bike from us, came over yesterday and apologized.  That is good, no?  And the other kids' parent(mother) called me and apologized as well.  F. came up to my son today at school and said that he was cited for taking the bike, but wasn't mad at my son.  I made sure to tell the parents that it isn't my sons fault that the cops cited them, it was me and not to be mad a him and they aren't.  Which is good for my son.

I better get going, I promised the kiddos I would take them out-to -eat.  I refuse to go to a fast food resturaunt so there...I want to go and sit down and be served. lol

Talk to you all later!!

My weekend was ok...went to the street fair and bought a TRUE LOVE WAITS bracelet for my daughter:

mult40-bracelet_2.jpg   TRUE LOVE WAITS 6 1/2" PURITY BRACELET
This beautiful hand-made crystal and sterling silver purity bracelet consists of Teal, Lavendar and White swarovski crystal beads. The colors symbolize the statement True Love Waits. It symbolizes the everyday choice to remain pure in Mind, Body and Spirit. Make a Promise...Make it Known. The special, inspirational meaning behind the bracelet is enclosed, with your own promise card.

And for myself I bought THE MOTHERS' PROMISE bracelet:

mult23-Mom1_(2).jpg   MOTHER'S 7 1/2" PROMISE BRACELET
This sparkling hand-made bracelet is made of iridescent white Swarovski crystals, sterling silver laser cut beads and a beautiful heart charm. The mother who wears this bracelet is "parenting out loud". She is letting it be known that she is openly communicating with her children and that she will always be there to listen to them. Mothers can use our (enclosed) promise statement to help open the lines of communication. Take Time to Talk. Make a Promise... Make it Known.

Just a wonderful message I think...

So that was Saturday...Sunday Hubby and I went to Wal-Mart, I needed new windsheild wiper blades and they had the triple edge ones so I got those.  Winter is fast approaching ya know, I need them for the blizzard I hope we get this year...lol

When Hubby and I were in W/M I started to feel sick and it felt like everything was in slow motion and I was clammy and sick to tummy...I have no idea as to what it was but I got home and went to bed...still feel sick this fine Monday afternoon.  My nephew took a nap and I did too..3 hours...I am tired still but I think that was due to the fact that Shelly and I were up till almost 2 my time(3 her time) trying to figure this crapity doo out...oh and the beers I had...like 4 or 5 or so...lol

So here I sit just waiting for the kiddos to get home from school and then I have to take them to get some more pants...and socks...why do they go through so many socks?  It is a true mystery.

I better get going so I can add more peeps to my faves and also let some of you know about the change...

Take Care Those Who Do and Those Who Don't...

My Favorite Poem

A Dream within a Dream

By Edgar Allan Poe

Take this kiss upon the brow!

And, in parting from you now,

Thus much let me avow -

You are not wrong, who deem

That my days have been a dream;

Yet if hope has flown away

In a night, or in a day,

In a vision, or in none,

Is it therefore less the gone?

All that we see or seem

Is but a dream within a dream.

I stand amid the roar

Of a surf-tormented shore,

And I hold within my hand

Grains of the golden sand -

How few! yet how they creep

Through my fingers to the deep,

While I weep - while I weep!

O God! can I not grasp

Them with a tighter clasp?

O God! can I not save

One from the pitiless wave?

Is all that we see or seem

But a dream within a dream?
