HOT DAMN! took me a while but i finally got some adware! and holy shit i remember why i hate this. installed a program 'free audio recorder' , trying to record a song off my fm tuner, and didnt have any audio recording off playback stuff... big mistake! it was bundled with 180 search crap,

hint: rename the programs while its running, then kill the programs, it will be unable to start again! mwhaahhaa

i've seen spyware that lavasoft and mcafee can detect but not delete. a buisness removing spyware for people = $$$

was watching some 'one piece', an anime, in a scene, one character has to fake stabbing another character. instead of letting the viewer think that character a has stabbed character b, until next episode where it is revealed that char a didnt stab char b, they dubbed it and slowed down the video, and added a bunch of voice over to say that they switched knives to a rubber knife.

are you ready for your entertainment to be dumbed down to the lowest denominator? are you ready for no more suspense? no more questions? everything is spelled out and ciggarettes are photoshopped into suckers!

i think the problem is that when someone has a mental handicap, if its an extreme case or retardation, people can cope with it better. but if the handicap is just slightly off or very close to being 'normal' , that it really affects people around them. if the people can relate to the schizo more, and then they feel it more when the schizo does something crazy.

during writing this, she has come back to read me part of a cookbook about mushrooms. so i guess it didnt get rid of her for long.

where have all the saturday morning cartoons gone? scratch that, where has all the animation in total gone? i guess you could say that it is all in japan. or that the shows being produced in the usa currently, have no creativity? anyone remember "Father of the Pride" ? or how horrible 'The Batman' is?

loonatiks? ug. just sounds like a bad idea, especially because the last bunch of looney tunes movies are just total crap. no one realizes that the few people that made bugs, bugs, were tex avery, chuck jones and others, but its sad to see great characters ruined. the new duck dodgers series is horrible as well. 'tiny toons adventures' was actually watchable and funny, but 'baby looney tunes' is just plain bad.

there are a few new shows, like Winx club and W.i.t.c.h. , but they are both not from usa. adult swim has a bunch of new shows. adult swim comedy has mostly usa produced shows and adult swim action which is mostly anime. WB and Cartoon Network and in a lesser extent Fox/ABC Family and Disney/Nick seem to be the only channels creating any new animation. except for some animation on TNN/Spike tv , which now seems to be all cancelled (stripperella, ren and stimpy, gary the rat). mtv now seems to be getting back in on the act with wonder showzen, too bad its a very long way from the MTV Animation Studios they once had.

its shit that mtv killed off what really took them into a lot of homes. with beavis and butthead or liquid television or cartoon sushi and aeon flux, the head! the maxx, Downtown, brothers grunt and others. mtv really introduced a lot of culture in the animation , that is now missing in the culturally devoid reality shows currently airing now.

times change, animators from mtv studios move on, they create thier own studios, they produce thier own shows, they even continue doing animation work for the mtv music video awards!

it seems that shows about film and animated shorts are always doomed, be it liquid television on mtv, or Exposure on Scifi, or Eye Candy on Techtv. for every one of these shows, more fans of animation are created. every time an animated show is cancelled, another person tries their skill at animating. for every liquid television or eye candy that is cancelled, another Spike and Mike or 'The Animation Show' festivals are started all over the country to showcase new, interesting, foreign and domestic, crazy internet flash, film-student or indy animation studio's latest and greatest work. hopefully Spike and Mike's animation festival will stop being shown in seedy bars and start showcasing at independant film theaters.

It's always nice to see additional government bans inacted. The results of prohibition, the war on drugs, and banning prostitution have proven that government bans are the best way to discourage Americans from engaging in unhealty and immoral activities.

Over the last few years, the FCC has done a great job with expanding government censorship over radio and TV (The war against Howard Stern, other "shock jocks" and the response to the Janet Jackson incident are good examples.) and now that we have included bans on public smoking and gay marriage, Michigan citizens will finally be free to enjoy the healthy, morally pure lifestyle dictated by the government.

We should all thank GOD that we live in a place with strict laws against these activities. A comparison of Ontario, Canada and Michigan, USA shows us how effective these governmet bans are.

Ontario has much weaker drug laws, semi-legalized prostitution, legal gay marriage, far less censorship of radio and TV programming, less restrictions on nude dancing, and laws that permit women to go topless in public.

The citizens of Michigan are fortunate to have a government that bans these personal freedoms and choices enjoyed by Canadiens.

If the government in Michigan granted the same freedoms and individual liberties as the government in Ontario, Michigan would probably see the same negative effects.

The excessive freedom, personal choice, individual liberties, and lack of government laws based on religious morality has caused a massive social breakdown in Ontario. Major cities such as Toronto, London, and Windsor are crippled with incredibly high levels of violent crime, widespread poverty, soaring rates of children born to unwed mothers, high unemployment, crumbling infrastructure, poor city servicies, and looming bankruptcy.

Conversely, the government restriction of personal liberties and freedoms has saved Michigan from the social breakdown that we see in Ontario. Major cities such as Detroit and Flint are shining examples of how crimanalizing drugs and prostitution have nearly eliminated these activities. most recently is the psa about the flu. its so stupid that it is almost self parody. in it the ad states that people should refrain from touching thier face or mouth/eyes to avoid spreading germs. it says this all while people in space suits walk around in a laundromat. whats funny is that its quite hard to stop touching the face, and the only way to do this is in a spacesuit.

it also has the nerve to say to people they should stay at home if they are sick. while this is actually a great thing to do, its horribly stupid that it has come to this. if anyone remembers earlier in the year about a flu shot shortage... which can be blamed partially on the FDA head who wasnt ready for this sickness that kills 10000 people a year. this is the answer we get? stay home? where the fuck are the flu shots? who gets flu shots anyways? poor schoolchildren whos parents make them get it? doctors/nurses and others who work with sick people daily? the elderly who are at risk from flu death?

was the flu shot shortage bullshit to boost stock for the flu shot makers? create a 'shortage' to increase 'demand' ?

other psa i remember are the stupid 'thetruth' ads, where loud assholes go around in a 'reality' show type layout asking 'real people' how many people die from smoking. its not that telling people how dangerous smoking is, is bad. its that the way you tell people can be beneficial or harmful. this very annoying ad cannot be changing anyones mind about smoking, nor can it be influencing others not to start..

i dont know what it is about these 'truth' ads that really bugs me. is it the name 'the truth' they use to get their propagandic message across? is it how they treat smokers in the ads as only the most horrible person would? is it the way they use the word 'us' in the commercial? 'the tobbacco companies have lied to US'
