I like this

An atheist professor of philosophy speaks to his class on the problem science has with God, The Almighty. He asks one of his new Christian students to stand and..... Professor: You are a Christian, aren't you, son? Student : Yes, sir. Prof: So you believe in God? Student : Absolutely, sir. Prof: Is God good? Student : Sure. Prof: Is God all-powerful? Student : Yes. Prof: My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to God to heal him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But God didn't. How is this God good then? Hmm? (Student is silent.) Prof: You can't answer, can you? Let's start again, young fella. Is God good? Student :Yes. Prof: Is Satan good? Student : No. Prof: Where does Satan come from? Student : From...God... Prof: That's right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world? Student : Yes. Prof: Evil is everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything. Correct? Student : Yes. Prof: So who created evil?...

told you i had something funny for you.

One Day at the Welfare Office. A guy walks into the local welfare office, marches straight up to the counter and says, "Hi... You know, I just HATE drawing welfare. I'd really rather have a job." The social worker behind the counter says: "Your timing is excellent! We just got a job opening from a very wealthy old man who wants a chauffeur bodyguard for his nymphomaniac daughter. You'll have to drive around in his Mercedes, but he'll supply all of your clothes. Because of the long hours, meals will be provided. You'll be expected to escort her on her overseas holiday trips. You will have to satisfy her sexual urges. You'll have a two-bedroom apartment above the garage. The starting salary is $200,000 a year". The guy says, "You're bull shittin' me!" The social worker says, "Yeah, well, you started it."

what do you think?

Ever had a friend who you once liked and ended up getting physical with and because of that everything got messed up?
This friend of mine knew a girl from primary school, he kinda liked her back then but she didnt really notice him so he didnt do anything about it. About six years later he stumbles into her and they get chatting and stuff, so now my boy thinks that this is his chance to make that step he could'nt when he was a kid. He asks her out to his Prom and she accepts(he even told his mom about her and for him thats big), they go out once or twice but he's too scared to make a move and after her patiance wore off another guy made a move and went out with her so now he had no choice but to be her friend.
Time went by and they genuinely became good friends. They went their seperate to different Universities but still keeping intouch and then one day she came back from university and they linked up and thats when they started getting physical (Well I mean he was...

My day

Well today thus far has bin a pretty normal day, considering i was at my lectures and nothing out of the ordinary happened. Dont you sometimes ever wonder wheather anything spontanious will happen, so that at least you have something cool to talk about? Like one time at my high school in Zimbabwe, Africa. The war veterans came to invade us because we had a farm on our school (this was during the land siezures).
It was a normal day in about july 2000, we woke up at 5:45, had breakfast in the dining hall at 6:30 and started classes at 8:00 all as per normal. Then during my geography class i heard loud cheers coming from the main gate. The gate was about 500m away from my class room, so you can imagine how loud this really was. The noise got louder and louder as they approached the second entrance to the school, by now we had all rushed out the classrooms in a panic striken frenzy. Myself and a couple of other guys went to the gate to see the action. There were about 150 peasent...

just a thought

I was asking myself a few days ago why we live the way we do and as to whether we really are independent of our own ideals and so as a result really act according to our own impositions? I pose this question to every person who considers themselves an individual. For instance, does society not dictate your taste in what you describe as "your" acquired taste in a commodity? If not then what does? Can you trully say you control your own existance and are not influenced by an outer force? Im not trieng to give some kind of conspirecy theory or anything like that, i just wanted to point out a simple fact that we are what we are because we are acustomed to be it and by natural slection we have become social beings who thrive on affiliation. To fully fathur my hypothesis on our dependence on an entity of whatever kind (i dont want to chategorise anyone), you must first look at what your belief is. According to my findings Human beings are designed to serve, to serve a higher power (even self is entity u may...
