The trials and tribulations of mani.

Mood: tired
Listening to: the killers

I was always told that titles in books, movies, cartoons, etc... all have a huge influence on how well the product sells. I was then wondering what would have hapnd if the geniuses that came up with the product had been in a verbose state of mind when giving a name to the latter. This can quickly become a hilarious situation...

MOVIES RENAMED:
Jurassic park becomes: geriatric pleasure garden.
Mission impossible: inconceivable sortie.
Lord of the rings: magnate of the girdles.

CARTOONS:
Batman and Robin: aerial-rodent and Turdus migratorius
The lady and the tramp: the gentlewoman and the mendicant

BOOKS:
Pride and prejudice: Jane Austin is already as boringly verbose as it gets, i shan't bother on this one.

Couldn't really think of any other titles at the moment. But hope you enjoy these...

I hate stairs.

Mood: rage against the stairs
Listening to: many things

Today was a bad day at the office. I think that stairs should be banned and replaced with ramps. How much easier and how much more fun would it be if every stair was replaced by a ramp?
You wouldnt trip on the stairs anymore. You wouldnt have that ackward moment of thinking there is a step when in fact there isnt. You could go down on ur bootay without hurting urself. Really i can only see positive arguements for this.

Im officially boycotting stairs. Death to all stairs.

Well lets see... what else can i ramble on about....
Country music. :D
Ok, i think that this sort of music is SO underrated! I dont know why but some of the country songs like sweet home alabama, shania twain songs, and this track called keep ur hands to yourself by the calling are the ultimate FEEL GOOD songs. I dont know a single person who can resist a GOOD country song...
Its funny how various music styles get you in different moods... lets see you've got:

rap: when i listen to this i get the urge to "bounce", wear low pants, and generaly revolt against society...

rock: jump around, go into a frenzy, generaly wake up with a sore neck the next day...

metal: sticks and stones may break my bones, but whips and chains excite me...

classic: aaaah, peace, quiet, serenity.... CHANGE AFTER 10min!!!

Trance: big fish, small fish, in card board box... (for those who dont understand post)

DEATH PINGUINS!!!

So i was just randomly browsing the internet when for some strange reason i thought of how cool the penguin is. Now this animal has to be the living proof that God has a sense of humour (just like when It/He/She created the platypus).
Anyways, i decided to see what kind of penguins there were and believe it or not, there's a species called the DEATH PENGUIN!!!! LOL!!!!
This cute bird which hardly knows how to walk and can't really fly has a species called the death penguin!!! Now, i realised that since i was a human i could permit myself to mock those funny ovipares but i can picture the mothers of the creatures telling their young:
'if you don't finish your fish a DEATH PENGUIN is going to come for you!!!'
heck that sounds scary even now...

Of course the mothers could use much less threatning things like:
" father penguin is not going to come this Xmas..."
" the easter sleigh-dog isnt going to give any..." er... can't have eggs of course that would be criminal. OMG i just realised that they must fear rabbits!!!! That evil bunny must be wanted by the penguin society for infanticide or something!!!! No wonder theres no bunnies where there's penguins.

I wonder if there is such a thing a penguin-phobia... i think that i should invent a name for it. Pengophobia, phobepenguia.... my excuses, i don't really know where im going with this.

Well i guess that should be enough penguin talk for a day,
now im going to eat an ice cream... and have an egg. *joke*
on that note,
cheers

Pic of the week.

So i decided to add a pic of the week kinda thing in my blog and thought that we'll start off easy with a little joke on windows. As most people have to have a mild understanding of computers to have a blog i thought that most people would or could relate to the pic above

 Enjoy.
cheers,

weird thing about blogging.

Mood: confrontational
Listening to: tenacious D

The weird thing about these blogs is that no one seems to realise (except for me) that you're pretty much talking to yourself. I dont mind talking to myself but i think its weird when i start arguing with myself...

1st voice: "i think i should talk about work today"
voice in the back of the ol' head: "no! thats boring! speak some truth, shout the word! PREACH MAN!!! PREACH!!!!"
1st voice: "don't listen to that voice, its evil"
2nd voice: "what do you mean im evil?"
1st voice: "well for example.... erm.... last night you made mani shout out profanities at the tele because the rugby match wasnt going well."
2nd voice: "ITS CUZ THE REF WAS BIASE!!!!"
1st voice: "see what i mean..."
2nd voice: "dont make me come over there!"
1st voice: "ooooh im shaking!!!"
2nd voice: "thats it im coming to get you!!!"

.... at this point one of my family members usualy comes in and sees me trying to fight myself......

in the end...
i usualy win.

the curse of the first post

Mood: alright
Listening to: quite a few things

This is usualy the post where people say things like:
'checking if this works'    (the doubting thomas.)
'heya'   (the friendly and optimistic person.)
'one, two, one, two'     (the wanna be dj.)
'hallapaluza'   (the slightly obnoxious)
'BOOBS'   (the perv)
or even sometimes:
'hfwoeiht023948ty3ofew'   (the guy that's only figured out how to post something after numerous tries)

You get the jist of things. I, on the other hand, will refrain myself from following this long and lovely tradition... A bad call this might turn out to be if it turns out that the post doesnt actualy post.......

ah what the heck!!!!

BOOBSHALLAPALUZAONETWOONETWOHEYCHECKINGIFTHISWORKS!!!!
