tell me a story...
Mood: strange (how odd)
Listening to: imogen heap - hide and seek
In the beginning there were only the Two Great Poles of existence -- the Frost and the Fire... and between them only the vast dark void of the Ginnungagap.
Over long aeons this gap filled slowly with sparks of sheerest flame and splinters of that archaic ice... to produce a vast, icy sludge that stretched farther than the known boundaries of the universe.Another aeon of long years passed before... something began to stir in the slush.
Slowly its head was revealed, then its neck, then its body and its four great legs -- each too vast to imagine.
This was Audhumla, the great Cow. And she set upon the ice in furious licking to get at the salty taste hidden within.
In all her crazed licking she eventually sculpted an enormous hideous giant -- Ymir.
