Manchester
Well, am in Manchester at the moment, and having a pretty good time. It is like a mini London really. The city centre has a cathedral and an impressive town hall. Harvey Nicholls and some great shops = the shopping area is massive. It also has an Art Gallery and the University itself has a great museum. Today I went into a suburb/outer Manchester - Bury and there they have a very popular market apparently the best in Britain. I also went to Burrs country park which is about 2km away from the town centre. This was breathtaking. Got a little frustrated with my camera as the batteries chose this time to run out and I had to go back and buy some and spent way too much on frigging batteries trying to get some to work....Will go back into town tomorrow and have another look around the city centre I have barely scrathed the surface of all the shops, but I have done a good mix of things and it will be my last chance to spend time in the city centre before I go on to Glasgow.
