Sunday Digging
I had some help today from my father in law who very kindly cleared a
lot of my paths.I need to find some way of controlling the weeds coming
through the gaps.
Whilst Graham done the paths I dug over the top bed.I am hoping to get some late peas in there next weekend. The weather was very warm and my Heritage beans were looking splendid with the small red flowers appearing.Mike gave me a bag full of beans which had cropped on his plot so I dug up a few spuds and we had them all for lunch, very tasty. The beans are quite sweet when you eat them raw and delicious when cooked.

Rox and Lady Cosmos (from allotments4all forum) here is a picture of the beans flowering.Hope you get some success growing them as they taste lovely.
