Murder in the township

One of the ladies that I work with lives in KwaMashu township.  She came in to work today beaming from ear to ear.  Apparently last night the local community had caught a man who had been raping kids, women and old ladies.

She told me that they caught him, stoned him to the ground, the chopped his arms and legs off and placed a tyre necklace around his waist.  This would then have been set alight.

This is the world in which we live, where murder is used to show people that murder and rape is wrong.  Where punishment fits the crime.  Where we give ourtselves away to others violence in order to stop the violence.  People of the world wake up.

There is no such thing as retribution, only bringing yourself down to other people's levels.

Wake up humanity.

The universer responds to action, not thought

The only things that were ever achieved have been done through action.  Thoughts are nice, but they don't get us anywhere.  Action and feedback are all that is required to get things done.  Life is very very simple.  Respond to the moment, not to the thoughts you have about the moment.

These are the days of our lives

There is no meaning to anything at all, except the meaning that we ourselves attach to it.  Lessons learnt and unlearnt and rights done wrong and wrongs done right, nothing really matters.  The meanings we attach give value to our lives, and without value we are feel insignificant.  Which we are.  A blip on the map, a fly on the wall.  There is no meaning at all.

The only time it ever means anything, is when we know we know nothing, are responsible for nothing and ultimately can only be nothing.  And when we know this, we know within our deepest place of knowing that we know everything, are responsible for everything and are everything, including God with a big G.

Meaning itself is irrelevant, only truth can survive the ways of the world.  And each and every one of us knows the truth deep inside.  That's why all religions say the same thing, all philisophies say the same thing.  And those that don't are not standing int he truth.  We all yearn for the truth, we all seek all the time.  What we seek is seeking. What we know is with surrender all is possible and we are infinate.  The only way to know is to say I don't know.  the only way to receive is to give.

This is the way of the world and this is how we live the days of our lives.  We only have one life, live it like your life depends on it.  Because it does.

The Enlightened Man

Listening to: Queen

The enlightened man walks this earth with the knowledge that they are awake.  The enlightened man knows that at some point, he too will go unconscious. The enlightened man then simply chooses to re-awake and do what needs doing.  The enlightened man can feel compassion without giving themselves away to feeling sorry for another.  When we feel sorry for another we take away their power and see them as small.  The enlightened man is simply a man who makes the same choices over and over when they work, and immediately adjusts when they are don't. The enlightened man knows what it means to stay, when staying seems the hardest thing of all.  The enlightened man knows that only by truly giving 100% can you receive 100%.  The enlightened man knows that by standing in complete humility and being infinitely small one can be infinitely big.  The enlightened man does not choose the easy road but is constantly jumping off cliffs.  The enlightened man knows that the only way to truly be alive and give expression to all that is possible means spending more and more time in the place way outside your comfort zone.  The enlightened man also gives himself a break sometimes and plays at being just a man. Most of all the enlightened man knows that they know nothing at all and are able to surrender to the infinite intelligence of the universe in the awareness of love's presence.

The only difference between the enlightened and unenlightened man is the ability to have the choice to say I am enlightened.  The rest is just a series of actions to make it so.

Enlightenment is not heavy, it's LIGHT... Enlightenment is the search for freedom, but most people forget that with ultimate freedom comes ultimate responsibility. The yin and yang, the light and dark.  All has balance. This is the perfection of life.

I don't have any answers, but then again I'm not searching for them, I am only trying to stand in my truth.  It has set me free.

Come to the edge he said and they were scared.  Come to the edge he said and they did and he pushed them and they flew...
