It's always hard to see the truth when you really would prefer it all to go away and your should be pictures of how things should be were right.
It's quite hard to see things for what they are, empowering yes, but quite hard, especially when it leads to disappointment in another. Disappointment in oneself is no problem, move along and do it properly next time. There's neer a need to beat yourself up about what has happened already.
Other people, well it's more difficult, especially when the other people are family and their behaviour is not really acceptable.
So I stand at a cross roads, a point from which I cannot go back. A point a which I knew i'd get to one day. A point I am so happy about it it's unreal, so calm about it it's scary and so disappointed really.
Crossing the Rubicon makes life interesting, in fact I'm already feeling nostalgia and that's another reason I know it's time. Nostalgia consists of should be pictures wrapped in comfy cotton pyjamas, a blockage of the past events and made up ones that feel better. When you feel nostalgia, run quick.
So let's see where this glorious game of life leads me, what grand adventures will unfold, and what marvellous fun I will have when I do well, and what laughs I will have when I fall on my ass.
The game of life is so gentle if you let it be that way. Embrace it.
