Though it is the time of year and everybody somehow is looking for the place to go abroad or just to travel far far away few people believe in the comfort and the joy of SUV.

It is strange though, because when you look at it, it should be much more fun to drive a SUV. There is a lot more room for everybody, and because of the space you can drive far, and even carry with you a lot of stuff.

It it mainly because of the hevay use of gasoline. A lot of people have come to think of the environment and belive in more healthier driving. Even so they are still travelling by car - thus biludlejning.

Also the prices of gas has been and is a great factor. Several companies try to fix this by giving away a free tank of gas. Don't no if this is gonna handle the project.

It is the same issue around the globe. People would like to drive the larger cars but something is holding them back. It can't be the prizes, so back is just the issues above. I would rent a car in copenhagen at any time.

If not that it may just work with autoleasing.

Recently my friend asked me that question and what do you think I answered? I mean, ins't it obvious; I am a hard woorking HR Partner with a lot of responsibility and pathos - why the .... should I rent a Pickup? I wonder if Copenhagen airport car rent rent out Pickups.

Denmark is not the bushes of Australia
I could understand if you could rent a pickup in Australia where there have many cross country roads, but Denmark is not exactly the landscape you would rent a car in Copenhagen for. Could you imagine me driving in a red pickup with muddy tires to work in my black outfit... nope.  

Sixt biludlejning er fortsat Tyskland's største biludlejningsfirma og selskabet har modtaget et ekstra løft i dag, da det blev afsløret, at dets overskud steg med 9,3 procent i første kvartal af året.

I første kvartal, var Sixt's nettoindkomst var på € 24,8 millioner, hvilket giver sig udslag i € 0,99 per aktie. I samme periode i 2007, var Sixt's indtægt kun var € 22,7 millioner, hvoraf aktier var € 0,91.

Stigningen i virksomhedens indtjening, er endnu mere imponerende, den ligger på € 405,9 mio. SIXT har påpeget, at selskabet kan være "tæt på mætningspunktet", når det kommer til det tyske marked, hvilket gør det endnu mere vigtigt, at  fortsætte med at ekspandere i andre lande. Som led i denne strategi, har SIXT billeje planlagt at åbne mange nye udlejningsbil steder alene i år, hvoraf en større del vil være placeret udenfor Tyskland, primært i andre europæiske lande. Dvs. også biludlejning danmark.

Sixt forudsiger at 2008 vil fortsætte med at være et godt år for selskabet, da det europæiske biludlejningsmarked fortsat vokser og prisstigningerne er forventet.

No matter how long I have lived in Scandinavia, I am still amazed by all its colourful attractions and landscapes. Especially I like visiting cities like Göteborg, Stockholm, Trondheim etc. by car because it is another experience than flying og taking the train or bus. Unfortunately my car broke down 3 years ago, so now I rent a car in Copenhagen every time I go on a journey in the bushes of Scandinavia. I am often surprised how easy it is for tourists to rent a car in Copenhagen Airport without no hazzle. This picture shows Stockholm city by air and as you can see, it is a fantastic city:
