Easy car rental in Copenhagen

by: carsforfun   Keywords: Car, rent, rental, Copenhagen, Airport

To rent a car in Copenhagen is easy. Actually you can have the car waiting for you in the airport if you use the Copenhagen Airport Car Rent. This is preferable if you arrive by airplane, but you may choose to take the metro to the centre of Copenhagen and pick up the car later somewhere else.

Cheap prices
Even though Copenhagen is a relatively expensive city for travellers, car rental Copenhagen is not that expensive. Small cars usually start around 200 to 300 Danish kroners a day with unlimited mileage. Bigger cars are off course more expensive.

View Copenhagen by foot
If you only plan to stay in Copenhagen, the best way to get around is actually by bike or even better by foot. Every tourist attraction, even Christiania, is found within a few kilometres from the centre of Copenhagen.

Visit Roskilde and Helsingør and beaches by car
If you are going in a group of 2 or more persons it is just as cheap to rent a car, than taking the public transportation. Within the last 10 years the prices have been raised by almost 50 %. In Roskilde the Viking tourist attractions are not located close to the railway station.

Also the best beaches located in northern Zealand close to Helsingør are not easy to reach by public transportation. Therefore rent car Copenhagen if you want to get around.

Copenhagen by car

Listening to: Tina Dichow

Do not go to Copenhagen by car, because you end up paying a lot of parking fees or tickets if you forget to buy the required ticket. Hence it is better to rent a car at Copenhagen Airport car rent, because they can give you information on how to get around in the Copenhagen area without paying too much. It is very easy to rent a car in Copenhagen and you can also use the same company in other countries.

Great range of car choices
You can choose almost whatever car you like from Citroën C1 to Audi A8 and personally I would go for a Saab 9.5 Aero.

Flat tyre on the autobahn - not nice

Listening to: Kraftwerk

I have never in my whole life felt so helpless as when I found myself in the emergency track on the autobahn in Germany. My old Escort felt tired and it caused a flat tyre, which turned out to have crashed the whole left front.

Should have, would have...
Funny as it is I considered renting a car at Copenhagen airport car rent before making my trip towards Paris, but then I became sentimental about my white Escort and decided to drive in her. I found it difficult to get in touch with road service in Germany so I hitchhiked and ended up in a big Volvo of a truck with an interesting Norwegian driver. It was good fun but I think I am going to rent a car in Copenhagen next time I am taking a long drive.

It May be - a SUV

Though it is the time of year and everybody somehow is looking for the place to go abroad or just to travel far far away few people believe in the comfort and the joy of SUV.

It is strange though, because when you look at it, it should be much more fun to drive a SUV. There is a lot more room for everybody, and because of the space you can drive far, and even carry with you a lot of stuff.

It it mainly because of the hevay use of gasoline. A lot of people have come to think of the environment and belive in more healthier driving. Even so they are still travelling by car - thus biludlejning.

Also the prices of gas has been and is a great factor. Several companies try to fix this by giving away a free tank of gas. Don't no if this is gonna handle the project.

It is the same issue around the globe. People would like to drive the larger cars but something is holding them back. It can't be the prizes, so back is just the issues above. I would rent a car in copenhagen at any time.

If not that it may just work with autoleasing.
