Phytosterols
Here's a place to read about phytoestrogens from plants. They are compounds which have a similarity to human estrogens, although much weaker. "Phyto" is taken from Greek and is a prefix for substances taken from plants, so phytoestrogens are plant substances with estrogenic properties.
