Oh, I almost forgot about this

Well, something compelled me to come back and write in this wack thing. So anyways, the latest news of course is Katrina and gas prices, blah blah blah.
Underneath all that is a lesser known story about our news reporters being killed in action, which is understandable when you're considering it's freakin war.
The stats go like this: 63 journalists killed since March 20th of 2003, so a couple years basically, to 66 killed in the 20 years of the Vietnam War.
Soldier 1: Hey look. Another stupid journalist. Soldier 2: Yeah..hey, 20 bucks says you can't knock him off. Soldier 1: You're on! Soldier 2: Nice piece of shooting! Soldier 1: Thanks, that was skinny one. Hey, pass me a beer will ya.
Good times, good times. What's with the confused looks?! Oh, I forgot to tell you, it's not just the insurgency that's shooting at them. lol Get this, it's US too. Well, you know what they say: It's not fun 'n games till someone gets killed.

More For Sure

I would like to dedicate this first part of my entry to the three wonderful blogigo user's that were gracious enough to welcome me into the blogigo family.
I didn't think that I would use this after the first post but since I don't want to disappoint, I will give my efforts to this blog.
In my running poll on whether this blog is boring or not, a grand total of four people voted. This is how the votes are tallied as of July 18th.
Is my blog boring or what? You know it! (25.00 %) No, not really. (50.00 %) Sure, Bob. (25.00 %) Other (0.00 %) Votes in total: 4
I would like to thank the two people that answered "No, not really". Maybe that was the reason why I came back, I don't really know, but I would also like to give my give my vocal thank you card to the the two individuals that voted "You know it!" and "Sure, Bob." Touching.
Okay, enough about me for now. I have viewed those who commented blogs...

Ah..The Sweet Smell of a New Blog

I came across this blog host and decided to give it a try, although I have no writing skills and nothing to write about. Hence the name of the blog: Ben's Boring Blog. Besides the sentimental value, I thought it had a good ring to it.
I really have nothing to update, but since this is my first post and I've been told be teacher's and parents alike that first impressions count, so I'm going to attempt to dive deep into myself to fish out a good story.
How about the New Blog Smell . My favorite. It even tops New Car Smell. Something about getting a new blog. With everything brand new and awaiting you to screw it all up.
No past posts to haunt you. Like a blank peice of paper staring back at you waiting patiently for you to do the unimaginable....
Alrighty then, I think about now is when I call it quits. Got a little too deep right there. Could be the lack of sleep (12:06am) right now or I'm just losing it, but before anything else happens, Good bye and so long until next time on...
