kuno lands leading role in a hollywood film...

Kuno has the leading role of "The Nomad" under the production of
Milos Forman.

LOS ANGELES.- Kuno Becker landed his third leading role in Hollywood, he's filming the "The Nomad", produced by Milos Forman, who is considered a manufacturer of Oscars.

The mexican actor, who had the leading role in Cannibal's Daughter and in the hollywood productions Imagining Argentina alongside Antonio Banderas, and another film who doesn't have a title yet. He flied today to Kazakhstan, a little country located in the border between China and Russia, to film for four months the movie directed by Czech Ivan Passer.

"I'm very happy, a just signed a contract to film a very interesting movie. The movie is called "The Nomad", its in english, but the best part of it is that I landed a leading role, thanks to God", commented Kuno.

Milos Foreman is the executive producer, who in 1976 won the Oscar for the movie "Trapped without an Exit" for best director, and same in 1984 for Amadeus.

"Its the best thing that has happened to my career, I haven't told anybody because it wasn't something for sure. Its an honor to work with Milos Forman in such a big production."

Kuno explained that he will be portraying the role of Mansur, a warrior whose mission is to save his tribe.

"I have the leading role, and I worked alongside Jason Scott Lee. The rest of the cast hasn't been confirmed. The news is fresh out of the oven. Its a movie about epic times, about warriors, mongole tribes, Muslim and Russian, it narrates everything that happened after Gengis Khan".

Passer who will be directing Kuno, has made films like "Born to win, Creator, and Cutters Way."

Before boarding his 33 hour flight to Kazakhstan, Kuno said that the role of a warrior was custom made for him because it requires physical training conditions, good English and the ability to mount a horse.

"I say that the role was custom made for me, because I used to ride horses when I was little. When I met the director he asked me if I knew how to ride a horse. Its the ultimate test of fire,  It's a very important film and a very great responsibility ".

Kuno said that he got the role of Mansur thanks to the great work of his representation Agency CAA, who also represents Jon Bon Jovi, Kirk Douglas, Cuba Gooding Jr, Jennifer Aniston and Christina Applegate, among others.

"It was a team effort, a project that was reached thanks to our hard work, we all did our job."

The direction of photography of "The Nomad" is the responsibility of Ueli Steiger (Godzila, Austin Powers), the costumes of Marit Allen (Affluent Hulk, Closed Eyes) and the special effects of Yves De Bono (the Patriotic one).
