Mexican actor Kuno Becker, will star in Milos Forman's new film "The Nomad". The actor has already starred in several other Hollywood films like "Lucia, Lucia", "Imagining Argentina" and "Two Lovers and a Wedding".

Los Angeles, CA-  Mexican actor Kuno Becker, has rapidly become a Hollywood star and an international one too. Kuno has gotten the lead role in the new film "The Nomad" produced by Milos Forman and Ram Bergman. The independent film, an epic story that takes place in Kazakhstan in the 18th century, the filming of the movie has already begun in Kazakhstan with Ivan Passer as director and using Rustam Ibragimbekov's script.

The film's budget is about 22 million dollars and is being sponsered by the Kazakhstan government. The story behind the movie is about Mansur (Kuno Becker) who is the destined leader whom one day will reunite the three tribes that are in combat with each other in the country.

"Kuno was our first option for this role. He has a lot of carisma and is a very natural actor and with lots of presence." said Bergam, the executive producer of the film. He also said, "he is the type of actor that all women respond very will to. I believe he has the potential to become a successful movie star and I predict that he has a great future.

Kuno Becker's cinamatographic career has been rising ever since he debuted on the big screen with the film "Lucia, Lucia" of Fox Searchlight. The film is the continuation of the great new wave of mexican cinema and was the second project of the acclaimed director/writer Antonio Serrano ("Sex, Shame and Tears").

Kuno has also finished filming another movie called Two Lovers and a Wedding, a romantic comedy in which he also has the leading role alongside Esai Morales and Charlotte Ayanna. This movie will be released in theaters in 2005.
