kuno becker: cecilia roth and rosa montero, his 2 new friends
With out a doubt 2002 was filled with great truimphs for Kuno Becker, after passing accurately, from the pink soap operas of Televisa, to the big screen, acting in 2 important productions: Lucia, Lucia and Imagining Argentina. In Lucia, Lucia he acted alongside the argentine actress Cecilia Roth (All About My Mother); and was directed by the mexican director Antonio Serrano (Sex, Shame and Tears); and in Imagining Argentina he shares starring credits with the spanish actor Antonio Banderas and the english actress Emma Thompson.
In Lucia, Lucia, Kuno took with him something more than fame and recognition: 2 talented friends, to whom he left a very good impression. The spanish writer and journalist Rosa Montero, who is the author of the novel from which the film Lucia, Lucia was based on and the talented actress Cecilia Roth.
"I met Kuno in Mexico", said Rosa, "during a visit I made to the movie set when they were filming some scenes from the film and I believe he acts wonderfully. This young actor has the Angel (carisma), he is to die for, he conquers the spectator. There could not have been a better actor to give life to Adrian [Kuno's role in Lucia, Lucia]. I imagined Adrian like that."
Cecilia on the other hand, got to know Kuno better during the 3 months that Lucia, Lucia was filmed in Mexico, and Cecilia thinks: "I consider Kuno to be enormously brave, he left his great career in television to debut in cinema; he risked and everything went great for him. And its just that he has something magnificent and highly contagious: the passion, a delivery and authenticity that he cannot hide. He is a professional actor".
