Imagining Argentina will be released in theaters in 2004, film in which Kuno shares leading credits with Antonio Banderas and Emma Thompson.

Kuno Becker has a trayectory that Gael Garcia and Diego Luna would die to have, since Kuno Becker in his recent arrival in Hollywood has obtained 3 starring roles, which he has earned because of his work and his great talent. The mexican actor can been seen this year on the big screen thanks to the film Imagining Argentina, that will help him to reinforce his presence abroad.                                                                              
In the film, which will be released in the U.S. this yr 2004, and which doesn't yet have a release date for Mexico, Kuno Becker shared leading credits with Antonio Banderas and Emma Thompson, under the direction of the britanic director Christopher Hampton.

The movie was filmed during 2002 in different locations in Spain and the south american country, and the story is centered around life during the argentine military dictatorship, and the way in which men, through their imagination could escape from it.

The story is located in 1976, with Carlos Rueda (Antonio Banderas) a theater director for children and his wife Cecilia (Emma Thompson) a journalist, both living with their daughter Teresa (Leticia Dolera).

Kuno Becker, the protagonist of Lucia, Lucia, is Gustavos Santos in Imagining Argentina, a two-faced man who is not what he pretends to be... Carlos Rueda (Antonio Banderas) discovers who Gustavo Santos really is. A secret that will shock Carlos, after discovering that Gustavo es totally different from that good, caring man he met, to whom he offered his aid and helped him. Gustavo Santos is the antagonist of the film, Kuno's first role as a villan, which was a cool challenge for him. Which showed his talent even more and his acting capacity. That he can do any kind of roles [characters]. Gustavo Santos is a key role in the story, one of the protagonists of this anxiously awaited film.

With Imagining Argentina, the mexican actor has obtained roles in other international productions. Like the newest hollywood production The Nomad, co produced by Milos Forman.

For that film Kuno Becker had to travel to Kazakhstan around last year.

Imagining Argentina is based on the original novel by Lawrence Thornton, which will be released in the U.S. in 2004 and has had 2 premieres in Spain and in August 2003 in Italy in the Venice International Film Festival, where it was nominated for the Golden Lion Award.
