Part-time job (part 2 - The Letter)

by: henry

Dear Miss XXXXX,

Smoking within  XXX General Hospital's premises is an offence under the Hospital's regulation. I fully supported and agreed to it.

In fact, I apologized many times to the Assist. Director when he caught me smoking while walking on the road behind the kitchen on 26th April at around 1320 hrs and he nodded his head (signs of acceptance). I also apolozied for troubling you when you received e-mail from the Director at around 1400 hrs on the same day, demanding that I be given a warning. Assurance had been given to me by you personally that the warning issued was to meet the Director's demand and it will not be given to my agent which I appreciated very much at that time.

On Sunday night (30th April), my agent called up my house. My wife was told that I have a big quarrel with the said Director when I was caught, which was not true. If I did quarreled with the Director as alleged, he would have me escorted out of the Hospital's premises by security personnel at once. As a result of this Insensible Big Lies, not only was my service terminated by the hospital kitchen's department, I was also reprimanded by my wife for the alleged quarrels (trying to sow discord?). If my service at the kitchen is not needed for whatever reasons, please state the facts and not allegations.

As the sole bread-winner of the family with 3 young kids to support, I was deprived of my rice-bowl due to your untrustworthiness. As a manager, you are a respectable person but given the above uglier than ugly incidence, your credibility and trustworthiness is at stake. You are in charge of this case, I held you responsible for all the unhappiness caused. If there is someone I must thank should any shortcoming happens to my family, you should be the one.

That is quite a story,I must say...I know the pain of being laid off. My husband was laid off and we had to live on just my income for quite a while as where I live it is very hard to find a good job. I can not stand people who lie or who talk condescending to others. Have a nice day..Smiles and Giggles to you sweetman...Hazeleyes

The situation that you are dealing with is very unfair and unfortunate. I\'m glad that you wrote the letter and are taking a stand. Also, I wanted to thank you for your kind words. I am starting to feel better already. I will come out of it stronger. *hugs*

It\'s too complicated for my comprehension...But I hope that a-it becomes less complicated, and b-you come out flying in blue skies. Henry, you\'re so cool, to put it in bland terms. I appreciate your support for my own bad situation. -Huge Hug-
